Due to Avengers: Doomsday filming, the studio is opting not to pause production to fly actors to California. Marvel will still have panels and events throughout SDCC, just not the spectacle of Hall H, which has become a mainstay for the MCU particularly. This news is coupled with a recent appearance from the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps at the CCPX promotional fan event in Mexico City last weekend, as well as buzz surrounding a supposed test screening for the fast approaching filmAt the TUDUM fan event this weekend, Netflix finally revealed the final season of Stranger Things will air in three parts late this year. The first will premiere November 26, followed by part two on Christmas and the series finale on New Year's Eve .Netflix also unveiled trailers for two of its anticipated upcoming films, Frankenstein - directed by Guillermo del Toro - and Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man - directed by Rian Johnson. The films premiere in November and December, respectively, and both feature star-studded casts - something we've come to expect from Johnson's Knives Out films and what makes sense for a filmmaker as storied as del Toro. Frankenstein features Oscar Isaac in the titular role, as well as Jacob Elordi as the Monster, plus Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz. Beautiful, soft pads lead off and establish a warm atmospheric vibe. The light to the darker moments in the release, the counter that Pierre is so adept at crafting. Ebbing and flowing, the track expands and soon a prominent melody emerges, accented by flashes of synths that give structure and development. In addition to placing Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, the final film of the animated Spider-Verse trilogy, back on the calendar for a June 4, 2027 release, Tom Holland took the stage to reveal the official title for his upcoming fourth Spider-Man film: Brand New Day, along with a new July 31, 2026 release date.Over at Warner Bros and DC, James Gunn ran the show, as he's been known to do. While the filmmaker shared an extensive sneak peek at his upcoming Superman, which was released online the next day; he also revealed that, circa 2018, he was approached to direct a Henry Cavill-led Superman film for the DCEU but opted to direct Suicide Squad instead.
