Emrand Henry is a Christian singer and song writer from St. Lucia, the gem of the Caribbean also known as “The Helen of the West”. He took the airwaves by storm in 2003 after winning the Cable & Wireless “Starquest” competition in his homeland, with his original Reggae piece “What is going on?” This event became the gateway to many opportunities for him as a young and upcoming artist. These included a guest appearance on BET's 106 & Park, Word Life Cafe (Baltimore, MD), and many Main Stage performances regionally and internationally, and made Emrand a household name in St. Lucia and abroad. This also made way for the opportunities to share the stage with such greats as Maxi Priest, Kenny Rogers, Jadee, Christafari, Sherwin Gardner, Travis Greene and others. Emrand’s lyrics encompass subjects such as Love, Peace, Unity, prophetic worship and Social Issues in a variety of genres, especially Gospel with flavors of Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, R & B and Zouk. His diversity allows him to connect to every culture and demographic. All of his songs are original written pieces for which he has become very popular on the charts of radio stations as far as Europe, Africa and North America. He continues to collaborate with some of the industry’s finest and also works with the top producers in the industry. His latest album “Great Commission” which was released in 2017 was well received and is touching lives all over the world with hit songs like "Hope is Rising", "Mustard Seed" , "Born Again" and the list goes on. Emrand Henry now resides in the USA and is currently the worship minister for Liberty Bible Fellowship Church in Queens New York under the Pastoral leadership of Pastors Michael and Joe Persaud. Emrand is highly motivated to succeed in the music industry worldwide and he continues to be magnified by the promoters and media internationally. His energy and stage presence is very captivating.
