What's up, dudes? I've got the amazing Thom Crowe from ‘Tis the Podcast with me to talk about the holiday classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” Shown throughout the ‘80s, the special was a staple during December, and has remained so.In 1988, it was released on VHS, and according to the cover box:“Dr. Seuss is back with his tongue-twisting verse and lighthearted music to delight children of every age. What holiday would be complete without this timeless tale of the mean-spirited Grinch and his feeble attempt to steal the Yuletide celebration of Whoville? The crotchety Grinch with ‘termites in his smile' and ‘garlic in his soul' tries once again to wipe out Christmas for the cheerful Whos, only to discover the true spirit of the holiday season lies beyond his covetous grasp.Narrated by the great Boris Karloff and featuring such musical favorites as ‘You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch' and ‘Trim Up the Tree,' Dr. Seuss' ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas' will warm the most miserly heart. Don't miss this animated confection—it's a perfect festival of fun for the entire family!”Bingle balls? Check. Who flop fluff? Yep. Bizzle binks and wungs? Rock and the Rockstar in attendance again this week. Pete kicks the one for one off for Sorry not Sorry with a wild one! He wanted to know what Rob would do if his partner had been diagnosed with a terminal disease leaving her with one month to live and her dying wish was to sleep with her ex one more time! Rob brought us back to something Holy asking what the significance could be of the bible never recording Jesus speaking in tongues. We then go on to reflect on our last church service where we all had to go out and evangelism and challenged Pete on his strategic choice of route that resulted in his not speaking to anyone. For our hookups Pete suggested checking out the latest album from Bizzle called Light Work 3 and Rob suggested checking out a TV show called Manifest. We were also joined by Andrea who had a great resource for evangelism which is a website called YesHeIs.com We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing, and if you don't, please let us know in the comments and let your friends know by sharing. Gear up as your audacious hosts, G-Rex and Dirty Skittles, kick off Season 2 with a hearty serving of kitchen chaos, featuring the delightful and spirited Pez. **What's Cooking in This Episode:** - Laugh till your stomach hurts with G-Rex as he tries (and fails!) to keep his composure while Pez spills the beans on her zany kitchen escapades. - Dirty Skittles will take you on a nostalgic trip from the doughy counters of Dunkin' Donuts to the prestigious halls of Johnson & Wales University. - Learn why Pez opted out of a culinary education and how Dirty Skittles baked her way into the cover of a PBS cookbook. - Dive into the saucy tales of hotel kitchen drama and why a pantry isn't just for stocking ingredients (wink, wink). - Discover the power of friendship in the wildest of work environments as our hosts and Pez reminisce about their pal, Bizzle. - Pez peels back the curtain on the hard-knock life in the kitchen, from wing nights to dish-slinging, and how it shaped her approach to food service. - Our hosts champion the importance of mental health, especially in high-pressure work environments, proving that it's okay to seek help when you need it. - Pez shares her journey from teenage money-maker to confronting the overwhelming world of commercial dishwashing as a single mom stepping back into the workforce. **Lessons Served Hot:** 1. Your path may change direction, and that's perfectly fine. You have to find where your passion truly lies, just like Pez did. 2. The kitchen is more than a place of work—it's a crucible for character, skill, and sometimes, unexpected friendships and wild stories. 3. Support systems are crucial, whether in or out of the kitchen. Our mental health can often benefit from a little TLC and open conversations. 4. Life may sometimes throw you into the deep end (or the dish pit!), but being a positive force can change not only your perspective but also your customers' experiences. 5. A job is not just what you do; it's how you rise to the occasion. Pez's willingness to tackle the front house with minimal experience speaks volumes of her grit. Remember to tune in for more amusing banter and life lessons from the kitchen as Pez, G-Rex, and Dirty Skittles cook up a storm. All this and more in the next part of this two-part series—stay tuned, stay hungry for adventure, and always keep talking about the sh!t that goes on in our heads! #KitchenConfessions #GrexLaughs #DirtySkittlesTales #PezInOurHeads #CulinaryChaos #FriendshipFries #MentalHealthMatters #DishwashingDramas #FrontHouseFirstTimers #BakingScandals #ShitThatGoesOnInOurHeads S02E01 Part 1 - Kitchen Capers with Special Guest Pez

Bizzle is arguably one of the most prolific and talented Christian Hip Hop Artists in the world! He is certainly one of my all time favorites. However, he isn't JUST my favorite rapper, he is one of my favorite humans! His commitment to Christ, excellence, and loving people is unmatched. I was honored to be able to sit down and share such an inspiring conversation about his life and how God actively pursued him in the midst of his sin.Bizzle's story of change and transformation is a true testament that God's love is deeper then the deepest oceans. God doesn't wait until we get our act together or clean up our lives...NOPE! God wants us to surrender and bring Him our brokenness and let Him put the pieces back together again!
