It is an honor to have Rev. Heather Semple back at SWU sharing her heart and God's Word during this abbreviated Spiritual Emphasis Week. Reflecting on that which is common to all of us, she draws a clear line between foolish love and true love, the latter being that which we receive from God himself. Listen in as she provides wise, godly counsel in navigating this life with the assured presence of God upon our lives.
In this week Heather Semple breaks down what it means to be the Church, and she encourages us that we are it. This is Heather's last night as our C12 pastor so please be praying for Heather in her next steps and for C12 as God leads us. Jesus Christ boldly told the world that He is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to God the Father except through His Son, Jesus Christ. In the concluding session of SWU's Fall 2018 Spiritual Emphasis Week, Heather Semple shares a bold message of truth in love. God's Word grounds His people in the Truth that is unmoved by the changing tides of the world's relativistic perspective. Become grounded in Christ and grounded in His Word and you will be unshakeable!
In a world with competing voices, knowing God's voice could not be more important. In session four of SWU's Fall 2018 Spiritual Emphasis Week, Heather Semple shares practical ways to tune in to what God is communicating both corporately and individually. May He reveal His presence and love even as you listen to the words Heather shares.
In the third session of SWU's Fall 2018 Spiritual Emphasis Week, Heather Semple shares the privilege of carrying God's Holy Spirit within. Christ in us the hope of glory is a great honor and great grace of God's indwelling presence. His empowering and enabling presence is ready for all of God's people at this very moment!
In session two of SWU's Fall 2018 Spiritual Emphasis Week, Heather Semple shares one of the most foundational truths of the Christian life: knowing one's identity in Christ. Those who are Christ followers take on His incredible identity and can be so secure in Him that the words and accusations carry no power.
