Today I’m welcoming the amazing Shannon Kaiser back on the show to chat about her Joy Seeker journey that led her back to her true self so she could start living the life she was made for, which was the inspiration behind her brand new book - Joy Seeker. In this episode we talk about: How Shannon did a complete 180 of her life, from working in a fast paced advertising career, facing addiction, burnout and depression; to now working as a full time writer, published author and coach. How adopting her dog Tucker, helped Shannon find her purpose and leave behind everything that wasn’t working in her life. How Tucker’s death a couple of years ago inspired Shannon to write her new book, Joy Seeker. What it means to be a joy seeker and the warning signs for being out of alignment with your true self. Why meditating, working out, drinking green juice and doing all the right things, don’t even matter if you can’t be honest to yourself about your true desires. How a regular journal practice helped get Shannon back in touch with her intuition. Why expectations are a joy barrier and why letting go is the key to allowing things feel really great. How we can open ourselves up to more happiness in our life right now, regardless of how busy we are. Why perfection is one of the biggest joy blockers and one of the simplest ways to invite more joy in your life right now. Why putting more joy into the world benefits humanity. The simple framework to help recognize the opportunities for growth and expansion. See the full show notes at www.dreamsforbreakfast.com

The Elite Advisor Blueprint®: A Podcast for Financial Advisors
Tucker Max (@TuckerMax) is here to share some serious entrepreneurial wisdom (much of it geared toward you financial advisors out there). But Tucker's knowledge, stemming from his work both as an independent writer and at Book In A Box, is applicable to anybody planning to write a book or start a business in our ever-changing world. Tucker is a super-successful writer and one of only three people to have three nonfiction books on the New York Times Bestseller List simultaneously. One of his greatest challenges, however, was co-founding and running his game-changing company Book In A Box. Book In A Box helps busy entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and professionals get a book out of their head and into the world where it can have a real impact. Tucker will be the first to tell you that starting a company (and then deciding to fire himself from being its CEO) has changed his perspective on business for the better. Tucker's straight-up storytelling and advice cuts through all the noise out there about what it means to be successful, to market, or to write. Don't miss this opportunity to learn some critical lessons from somebody who constantly challenges himself to be better at it all. As we do every Friday, our thoughts turn to our fine specialist brethren, as Kicker Friday is here once again. In December of 2013, facing the Detroit Lions in a critical game with playoff implications on the line, Justin Tucker, kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, went 6-for-6 on field goals en route to scoring all 18 of Baltimore's points in an 18-16 victory. Chuck Zodda and Mark Schofield host the July 22 Quick Kicks Podcast, this time examining the greatest regular season kicking performance in NFL history. Topics this show include: -The overall flawless performance from Tucker and how he turned what initially appeared to be a regular night into a special performance with three short field goals in the first half (3:35) -The final kick of the first half as time expires, and the opening kick from Tucker in the second half, a 49-yard attempt that starts to ramp up the level of difficulty (5:59) -Tucker's fifth kick of the night, a 53-yarder from the right hash, with the placement being critical as right-hash kicks tend to be more difficult for kickers due to their rotating motion (8:18) -The do's and don'ts of kicker celebrations as it relates to mechanics and safety (10:45) -Tucker's final kick, a 61-yard masterpiece from the right hash with 38 seconds remaining in the game (13:20) -How Tucker's mechanics from 61 yards can be a textbook example for kickers from any distance in terms of efficiency and follow-through (16:01)
