Mardi 2 mai, nous étions au studio pour une nouvelle émission Make It Deep en compagnie d’Aurelian aka KM3 – On en profite pour vous rappeler que nos émissions sont en direct tous les lundis de 19h30 à 21h30 (sauf jours fériés) – Au programme de cette 98e émission : un tour d’horizon des sorties de la semaine, la revue de presse de Leo, le vinyle du pauvre, notre soirée préférée du week-end et une premiere. Et bien sûr, l’invité du jour : KM3, qui a répondu à nos questions et nous a offert un set éclectique et rythmé. Résumé ci-dessous. En première partie d’émission, nous vous présentions notre sélection des sorties de la semaine : le premier EP d’une nouvelle série de releases (Vinyl Only) lancée par le label Cellaa Music, le repress de Wu15 signé Henry Wu et K15 sur Eglo Recordings, la première release du sub-label de la Chinerie, Comic Sans, signée CRK, ou encore le nouveau various de Finest Hour, ainsi que nos coups de coeur cette semaine signés DJ GLC et Rick Sheen. De quoi remplir vos oreilles pour les jours qui viennent. Dans sa revue de presse, Leo vous parlait de la remise du titre d’Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres à Jeff Mills vendredi dernier, de l’ouverture gratuite du Woodfloor de Concrete les mercredis d’été, du festival Into The Valley qui privilégie équité, écologie et artistes locaux ou encore d’un mix réalisé par le multi-médaillé Usain Bolt dans le cadre de l’exposition de la Philarmonie de Paris, “Jamaica Jamaica”. En conclusion, Leo nous présentait le vinyle du pauvre, à 95 centimes, signé Liquid Dope avec le titre “Rock Your” sorti en 1997 sur le fameux label Henry Street Music. Notre invité de la semaine, c’était KM3, digger émérite, DJ et producteur français aux multiples facettes (et instruments). Tout ça est à (re)découvrir juste en dessous. Nadja Chatti, aktuell med spelning hos massiva festivalen Department i Stockholm 3-4 juni, gästar programmet. Hon är även medgrundare till bokningsbolaget Esperanto, med allt ifrån undergroundhjältar som Jessie Granqvist till världsartister som Bella Sarris är de ett av Stockholms mest intressanta bokningsbolag med inriktning mot house och techno. Nadja har även själv en gedigen DJ-karriär i bagaget med spelningar på bland annat Tresor, Way out west, Sonar Stockholm, Garden festival, Into The Valley och nu även Department. Hon har spelat skivor i ca 10 år och har sett scenen, både över och underground, växa fram. Vi pratar om hur ett kommersiellt synsätt kan hjälpa artister, om hur Stockholm och Sverige är så pass framstående i musikbranschen och vi lyssnar även på hennes signumlåt, som dessutom är producerad av några som även kommer medverka på hennes nästa stora spelning.

Följ med till underjordiska och undangömda raves, fester och klubbar i Malmö. Ute i naturen och i industriområden. Den elektroniska musiken har på senare år hittat en allt större publik. I Sverige finns det numera stora festivaler som Summer Burst, Big Slap och Into The Valley. Men det finns också en alternativ scen. En sorts do it yourself eller gör-det-själv-fester som arrangeras av passionerade människor. Där musik och dans blandas med visuella element och konst. Allt för att besökarna ska glömma bort allt annat och dansa hela natten lång. Den enda haken är att dessa fester oftast inte är lagliga eller tillåtna. Inte enligt myndigheter som polisen, tillståndsmyndigheter och brandmyndigheter. Arrangörer och besökare på dessa tillställningar måste röra sig i gråzoner för att hålla den här scenen vid liv.
