The Season 1 finale of The Dukes of Hazzard may be one of the most important episodes in the entire series. "Double Sting" takes everything that made those first 12 episodes special and blends it into the formula that would define the show for years to come. You've got out-of-town crooks, a clever scheme, Rosco and Boss caught in the middle of the chaos, Daisy stepping up to save the day, and of course plenty of General Lee action. Looking back, this episode feels like the blueprint for what The Dukes of Hazzard would become. The story centers around a fake quarantine that traps nearly everyone inside the Hazard County jail while a pair of bank robbers disguised as Laurel and Hardy pull off their heist. That leaves Daisy and Cooter carrying much of the action outside the jailhouse, leading to some genuinely fun and memorable moments. Along the way, we get rare nighttime footage of the General Lee with its headlights on, plenty of comedy from the guest stars, and one of the most recognizable stunts of the entire series. Most importantly, this episode features what may be the greatest General Lee jump of Season 1—and one that even non-Dukes fans have to admit is impressive. From the action to the humor to the unforgettable stunt work, "Double Sting" closes out the first season in style. Join us as we break down the episode, uncover behind-the-scenes details, and revisit a true Dukes of Hazzard classic.

In episode 142 of Game Design Unboxed, we talk with freelance game designer Rosco Schock about his first published game, Diplomacy: The Golden Blade, released by Renegade Game Studios. The conversation focuses on the challenge of translating the "feel" of a classic, beloved strategy game into a streamlined and more approachable card game experience. We also discuss the path from prototype to publication, finding the right publisher and timing for a licensed project, and balancing respect for a 60-year-old franchise while creating something new. Rosco explains how Diplomacy: The Golden Blade now serves as an on-ramp to the larger Diplomacy experience, why understanding a game's unique selling points matters, and how patience and persistence pay off in game design. Plus, we learn what a game triathlon is. Featuring:  Rosco Schock - Guest Danielle Reynolds - Host

Kibbe & Friends Show #366 revisits a classic Dukes of Hazzard episode the gang originally reviewed nearly 10 years ago — Season 1 Episode 10, “Deputy Dukes!” Before heading back to Hazzard County, the crew catches up on Corndog's daughter graduating high school, Rob's busy summer racing schedule with Dallas Kibbe Racing, and a surprising firsthand look at the new electric Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack. Bernie on the Weather debuts a hilarious new WKRP-inspired intro sponsored by Lexani Tires, Lionhart Tires, and Rolling Big Power Tires, while Corndog's Tech Corner helps troubleshoot Mopar ignition problems on a 1972 Dodge Charger. The guys also cover Hot Wheels collecting crazes, Tesla Cybertruck recalls, the upcoming Rockford Files reboot, and GM's confusing LS6 revival before diving into “Deputy Dukes.” In this Season 1 favorite, Bo and Luke temporarily become deputies after Rosco gets suspended, only to find themselves trapped inside another one of Boss Hogg's schemes. The crew breaks down the episode's early-series charm, classic patrol car action, and the chemistry that helped make the Dukes of Hazzard such an iconic show. You may know Scott Nygaard from his career as a guitarist in the bluegrass and acoustic scene for more than 30 years, his work as former editor and writer with Acoustic Guitar Magazine, or as one of the co-founders of Peghead Nation. You may not know his novel Evergreen, based on his transformative first year at Evergreen College in 1973. I love a coming of age story, and this is very much a tale musical growth and about the loss of innocence during a time of societal changes . We also explore Scott's most recent album, Flown South which was recorded after a serious accident, when Scott had to relearn to play guitar. You'll also be hearing music from his wonderful album Rosco with the Swedish guitarist Roger Tallroth, best known as a founding member of Väsen. Another collaboration you'll be hearing about is Crow Molly, which features mandolinist Joe K. Walsh (a previous guest of this podcast). In typical K&F fashion, things quickly spiral into chaos. Rob gets woken up at 4 AM by a smoke alarm only to discover water pouring out of it thanks to an upstairs bathroom flood. Bernie delivers weather with the energy of a town historian reading a plaque, the guys run through another round of Celebrity Automotive Ancillary Birthday, and a brutally accurate job-interview PSA reminds everyone that some people really do belong in the HR complaint file. Rob also shares a proud dad update as Dallas gets seat time in a late model on slicks, learning one of racing's biggest lessons: smooth inputs, tire management, and the reality that when the grip goes away… you just learn to work with it. For the Dukes Review, the crew heads back to Season 1, Episode 6 — “Swamp Molly.” This episode marks the beginning of the crisp California look many fans associate with the show. When old family friend Swamp Molly calls in a favor from Uncle Jesse, the Dukes agree to help run what they believe is moonshine — only to discover the cargo is actually a truckload of illegal firearms. The episode delivers classic early-season action including an ice cream truck disguise, swamp landings, Rosco's outrage at “un-American” crime, and plenty of General Lee driving. The guys also dive into production details like early General Lee quirks, background car spotting, and the raw stunt work that made the early seasons feel so authentic.

Interview with Alberto Orozco, CEO, Capitan SilverOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/capitan-silver-tsxvcapt-triples-exploration-target-at-historical-cruz-de-plata-silver-district-8232Recording date: 20th January 2026Capitan Silver is entering 2026 with significant momentum following a transformative year that repositioned its Cruz de Plata silver project in Durango, Mexico. CEO Alberto Rosco outlined an ambitious exploration program backed by a recent $29 million financing that will fund 60,000 meters of drilling across what the company now recognizes as a complete mineral system rather than a simple silver trend. The strategic shift came through property consolidation that expanded the project from 7 kilometers to 20 kilometers of vein targets. Through systematic mapping and sampling, the geological team identified that high-grade silver mineralization sits near the contact between an intrusive body and sedimentary rocks, with this controlling structure extending westward and northward in a circular pattern. The company also eliminated a significant royalty and increased gold resources at the adjacent Capitan Hill deposit by 115% to 525,000 ounces.Rosco emphasized that Cruz de Plata's outcropping nature provides substantial cost advantages throughout exploration and potential development. Most previous drilling remained in the top 150 meters, with the 2026 program designed to extend testing to 150-300 meters depth on the advanced Jesus Maria trend while using reverse circulation rigs for rapid, cost-effective testing of new targets to the west, north, and within the intrusive itself.Management remains focused on building an operating mine rather than pursuing early monetization, drawing on the team's experience developing and operating projects in Mexico through their previous work at Argonaut Gold. "We're developing this for the long haul. We see a very big system here and we're very excited about it," Rosco stated, comparing Cruz de Plata to successful intermediate sulfidation deposits like Penasquito and MAG Silver's Juanicipio. With approximately 50 unreleased drill holes from the previous program and multiple rigs operating simultaneously in 2026, investors can expect consistent news flow as Capitan Silver works to demonstrate the scale of its expanded mineral system.Learn more: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/capitan-silverSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

We end our Of Fungi And Foe review with Ol' Rosco, who may be one of the more abhorrent characters in the Claypool lyrical universe, perhaps for being all too real. This is the final "fungi" track in the sense that it was initially written for the Mushroom Men video game; Les later added vocal and percussion tracks for the OFAF record. Frankie provides a loving sendoff to this record, which he holds in high regard. Get your skin care routine ready. Get involvedInstagramFacebookEmailBurn your money

We Like Shooting Episode 636 This episode of We Like Shooting is brought to you by: Midwest Industries, Gideon Optics, Primary Arms, Medical Gear Outfitters, Rost Martin, Bowers Group, and Matador Arms   Welcome to the We Like Shooting Show, episode 636! Our cast tonight is Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show!   Agency 171 Savage - tonight, we're ditching the old "cult" label and leveling up to something way cooler. We've been calling our supporters the cult for years, but it's time to evolve. Jeremy - Welcome to Agency 171, a secret crew born right after the nation's founding, all about defending your 2A rights with no BS compromises. We're talking absolute freedom against those who want to divide us and grab our guns. Nick - The cult is history. Agency 171 is the future. Isn't it weird how 171 pops up everywhere? Keep an eye out—it's your sign to jump in.   Shawn - This is our new listener support program. Or is it? Everyone who is a cult member will be migrated automatically tomorrow morning. You don't need to do anything except check your email (check spam). You'll get an email with details and you can take a look at the rewards and upgrade if you'd like. Way more rewards, way more fun and has so much more coming. There is even a game with all the cast and YOU as the main character. There will be missions (describe missions) with prizes as well. I have big plans for this and can't wait for what's to come.  After this week, after giving everyone a chance to upgrade, I'm giving away a gun to a random operative. I have many to get rid of and the Agency is where it'll be happening.   Agency 171 is a fictional secret society created as a fun rebrand for the "We Like Shooting" podcast's listener support model. In the lore, it's a clandestine organization founded in the early 1800s (post-1789) to defend absolute 2A rights against the Mandate for Divisive Action (MDA), a made-up deep-state cabal that promotes gun control. Listeners "join" as Operatives through monthly pledges (from Recruit at $5 to Director at $60+), unlocking exclusive perks like bonus content, merch (e.g., stickers, coins), and community access in the Vault. It's all for entertainment—support the show, get in on the mystery, and fight "tyranny" with humor and gear.   - Gear Chat Nick - 3D Printed Stock Scoop 3d printed stock update Nick - SG Pulse Vibes SG Pulse Shawn - Next Level Suppressor? nextlevel armament emininent 36 (silencers) Construction: One-piece solid Inconel body and baffles for superior durability and heat erosion resistance, ideal for full-auto.
