This week is a lot of fun! We are joined by Joel Potter, host of Bourbon & Ballistics Podcast and Co-Owner of First Line Ballistics, and we talk about a lot! Between Joel's introduction to bourbon, starting a business, being a 42 year old student in a classroom & everything else that comes up over a bottle of Basil Hayden, this conversation is packed full of laughs, memories and possibly some exagerated stories. Go check out their shooting targets and his podcast. @bourbonandballisticspodcast @firstlineballistics @natenewton87 @thetradesmanexperience
Blue Moon Fitness owner Joel Potter is shutting down a Michigan location, and he has strong feelings about the politicians there that he says led him to his decision.
Since 2005, Joel has served as a faith-supported missions worker with one of the largest US mission boards. While he has served overseas and in multiple roles in the organization, his current role in the marketing and communication side of the organization is where his heart lies. Social media is the widest spoken language in the world and speaking it fluently is a must for those who want to make impact across cultures. And it’s the potential for eternal impact that gets Joel up and going every day. Also, lots of coffee.
This week’s show featured Dr. Michael Wagner, a trauma surgeon who trains individuals on how to “Stop the Bleed,” should they ever find themselves in a situation with accident or attack victims who are bleeding profusely. Then, Matt Anderson and Corey Zimmer promoted their fundraiser to “Back the Badge,” providing support to local law enforcement agencies and memorials. Finally, fitness expert Joel Potter advised how to keep those fitness-related New Year’s Resolutions.

Joel Potter, LifePoint Christian Church elder, gives all of us great encouragement to have a life that helps others to find and follow Jesus Christ, to make disciples, but not without being one ourselves.
The parable of the soils as told by Jesus gives us deep insight into the hearts of people. As we look at Isaiah 61 as well, we see that we are oaks of righteousness. Water, soils and other factors determine the health of a tree, and it applies to us! This morning, Joel Potter, an elder at LifePoint Christian Church, presents an extremely relevant message. Joel talks about the Risen Christ, about the doubters among His followers and how human they were. Joel helps us see God's bigger picture as Jesus did on the walk to Emmaus.
