Matt Anderson from Dragonfly AI reveals practical strategies for using generative AI to outsmart bigger competitors and transform customer engagement. In this enlightening conversation between Matt Edmundson and Matt Anderson, we explore the fascinating intersection where e-commerce, AI, and brand collide. Matt Anderson, with his extensive background in performance marketing and current work at Dragonfly AI, offers valuable insights into how AI is transforming product research, content creation, and customer engagement, creating new opportunities for nimble e-commerce entrepreneurs to compete against industry giants. This episode cuts through the fear and scepticism surrounding AI to reveal practical applications that can revolutionise your e-commerce business. From improving product research to enhancing creative content, discover how AI can become your strategic co-pilot rather than just another tool.Key Insights:AI functions best as a co-pilot rather than a replacement - think of it as "having a master's graduate next to you" that needs guidance and oversightThe quality of AI output depends heavily on the quality of your prompts - being specific about audience, tone, and style dramatically improves resultsE-commerce entrepreneurs can use AI to level the playing field against larger competitors by researching consumer needs and bringing products to market fasterAI tools like Perplexity and Dragonfly AI are changing how consumers search for products, focusing on solving problems rather than brand namesStart small with AI implementation - focus on automating boring, time-consuming tasks first before expanding to more complex applicationsMatt recommends focusing on just a few AI tools rather than trying to master everything: "You can't be good at every martial art. Just pick one and be a black belt in it."I wonder if this shift toward AI-assisted research and discovery might fundamentally change how we approach product development and marketing in e-commerce? Matt Anderson is one of CKUA's favourite artists. On the air and certainly with the audience. Matt is releasing his 11th solo studio album The Hammer and The Rose April 25th. I was delighted with all of that information until I got to"the date" April 25. As you may know, that's the first Friday for the CKUA Spring fundraiser. I asked Matt's team if I could move the Stew interview to this Saturday - and they approved!! So, we get the story of the album and we are the first play of several tracks, anywhere. This album, about the relationship between the head and the heart, presents a different Matt. A slightly quieter Matt, so you can hear the texture and grain of his voice. Great songs too. Co-writing the title track with Steve Dawson Co-writing with Tom and Thompson Wilson, Terra Lightfoot and Jesse O'Brien. Co-writing The Cobbler with producer/drummer Jason Van Tassel - as a tribute to, and in memory of, their Fathers. Includes a fine cover of JJ Cale's Magnolia. With Afie Jurvanen on guitar and vocals.
Most people aren't struggling with faith. They're drowning in self-condemnation. In this powerful conversation, we will explore the inner critic that keeps so many of us stuck in shame, striving, and spiritual burnout. We'll unpack the difference between living from love versus chasing worth, and explain why Jesus was drawn to authenticity over perfection. If you've ever felt like you're performing for God instead of walking with Him, this episode will challenge and free you in all the right ways. Key Takeaways To Listen ForHow to recognize, silence, and replace the voice that says "you're not enough"Why focusing on performance over presence leads to burnoutHow naming our thoughts gives us power over themWhat happens when we chase the appearance of righteousness without tending to the rootsWhy grace is a daily invitation, not a one-time transaction Resources Mentioned In This EpisodeThe ChosenThe Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle | Kindle, Paperback, and HardcoverAbout Matt AndersonMatt is a former college athlete turned pastor, author, speaker, and leadership coach with a passion for helping others discover who they were truly created to be.
