Upon a revelation at a Sylvan Esso concert, Davis, CA songwriter Lillian Frances set to work making music. Her early days making folky guitar tracks came to a halt after she "got tendonitis harvesting girthy vegetables (read: butternut squash)." Frances came to CapRadio to talk about her post-squash music, where her samples come from and how being fluent in Spanish doens't mean you're understood BY the Spanish.    Frances compares the sound of the Spanish language like "someone speaking in cursive." It's one of the reasons she like incorporating the laungauge in her music...despite not being able to roll her Rs. That's where "Flinch" comes in.   Lillian lost her ability to play guitar thanks to developed tendomitis harvesting girthy vegetables (read:butternut squash)."
