Episode 19 Season 2 is out with Nick Bennett. Nick is a pitcher that was drafted in the 6th round of the 2019 MLB Draft to the Milwaukee Brewers organization out of the University of Louisville. In 2019, he played for Rocky Mountain Vibes out of the Pioneer League at the Rookie ball level. He then continued to play in Wisconsin for the Timber Rattlers out of the Midwest League which is A full season level. Before playing professionally, Nick played collegiate baseball at the University of Louisville from 2017-2019. Nick had a tremendous career as a Louisville Cardinal! Nick played in two College World Series (2017, 2019), was a 2017 2nd team Freshman All-American, 2017 3rd team All-ACC, and 2019 3rd team All-ACC. During the podcast, Nick talked about what it is to play for Coach McDonnell. Nick said “it was one of the best decisions of my life”.
