Brandon Tierney goes off on the Yankees' potential trade scenarios, particularly the idea of dealing top prospects Spencer Jones and Jasson Dominguez for a player like Jose Ramirez. While acknowledging the need for a third baseman, Tierney passionately debates the value of holding onto promising young talent versus making a win-now move, especially given the Yankees' current team construction and championship aspirations. He questions the overall strategy and whether such a trade would truly elevate the team to World Series contention.
Brandon Tierney erupts with excitement over the Yankees' acquisition of Ryan McMahon, touting him as the much-needed defensive upgrade at third base. Tierney celebrates the move as a crucial first step, particularly praising the Yankees for avoiding the "atrocious defense" of Suarez and finally addressing a glaring deficiency, despite McMahon's strikeout issues.

Mr. McMahon makes his presence felt once again when he tells the ECW Originals what he thinks about them right to their faces in the middle of the squared circle. Then he stacks the deck against the ECW Originals all night as they're put in matches against their New Breed counterparts with the stipulation that they can't touch any officials in or around the ring or risk being fired. We are live from the VMAC for Day 2 of Seahawks training camp and there are some items of note from day 1! The Seahawks are being underestimated nationally and Mike MacDonald isn't hearing it. Ken Walker looks impressive, will it translate to in-game success? DeMarcus Lawrence had people talking yesterday! :30- Mariners Morning After The Mariners made things look promising early on, but it quickly went down hill as they fell to the Brewers 10-2 and lost the series as well. HIGHLIGHTS ATTACHED :45- It's Trade Deadline Month Day! Would Ryan McMahon be a good fit for the M's? We take a look at the Rockies third baseman as he emerges as a real trade possibility. McMahon is having his worst season as a pro, and the Rockies are really bad and apparently not very smart. They should have traded McMahon last year, but they didn't, did they miss the boat? “I'd have preferred they made no movie at all…” - Eric On this week's episode, the Summer Blockbuster Extravaganza has us chatting about the total misfire of a superhero reboot, Fantastic Four (2015)! Yikes, folks! Why are all members of the Fantastic Four under legal drinking age in this movie? Why did we need to see Reed and Ben as little kids at the beginning like it's some bad studio comedy from the 1990s? Why did so many people think this gritty, harsh take on a traditionally goofy property was a smart move? Why are the Storms snooping around high school science fairs looking for children to snatch up? And couldn't they have pumped just a little more money into this Doctor Doom costume? PLUS: Look out for the most dangerous member of the Marvel Universe — The Pebble! Fantastic Four (2015) stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Tim Blake Nelson, Dan Castellaneta, Chet Hanks, Tim Heidecker, and the late, great Reg E. Cathey as Dr. Franklin Storm; directed by Josh Trank. [EDITOR'S NOTE: While he's not in this FF film, we do mention Julian McMahon's performance as Dr. Doom in the Tim Story Fantastic Four films from 2005 and 2007. We recorded this about a month before Julian passed, so that's why it's not referenced here. McMahon was a great actor who, as we say in this episode, understood the assignment when playing Dr. Doom in those aughts films. Rest easy, Julian, a talented and very nice guy from all reports. — Andrew] Throughout 2025, we'll be donating 100% of our earnings from our merch shop to the Center for Reproductive Rights. The Department of Education is about to get a whole lot smaller, following a Supreme Court ruling this week that the Trump administration can move forward with its mass layoffs plan. In her interview with the Rundown, U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon directly addresses the concerns she has heard about ending the department and advocates for why the process could yield a better education system that works for all Americans. [Original airdate: 7/2/24] Mary chats with TA McMahon of The Berean Call about the nature of so many false teachings today, and the various reactions by the church as to what, if anything, can be done about it. Why is there so much apostasy? The bible says we have a choice, that we must choose to enter by the strait gate, and yet "few there be that find it." When the church started to go through many different phases in the last 30 years or so, many believers didn't follow up on warnings, and as such it has become very difficult to keep up. And to say there is sorcery in the church, that is something many may not understand; but through the New Age and experientially-based Christianity, this has indeed become the case. Times ahead may get tougher, so we have to ask ourselves, are we standing firm on the foundation of truth?
