What happens when a shattered urinal becomes the secret you take to your grave?Sam and Jeff dive into the week's biggest celebrity drama, starting with Kyle and Amanda's Summer House divorce. Sam pulls no punches about Kyle's infidelity and treatment of Amanda (who's finally breaking free). The conversation then shifts to Brooklyn Beckham's family tensions with Victoria and David, including claims about a ruined wedding that led to secret vow renewals without family present. From celebrity gossip, the hosts transition to Buffalo Bills frustrations and Sam's whirlwind weekend. After watching her sister's dogs and catching a Bandits game, she headed to Denver for a Bills matchup despite that brutal 5:15 AM flight. The Y2K-themed game delivered great halftime entertainment, though the real story came later at a brewery where a bathroom incident involving a destroyed urinal created absolute chaos.Beyond the urinal incident (which shall remain unspoken), Sam explored Denver with friend Corinne, visiting everything from the Molly Brown Museum to Columbine High School on a true crime tour. They even stopped at the International Church of Cannabis for meditation and laser shows. Back home, Sam celebrated her 41st birthday before catching a Will Arnett film about navigating divorce through stand-up.Ready to hear about Lego disasters and Stranger Things confessions?
On the Friday edition of the North Shore Drive podcast, presented by FanDuel and Edgar Snyder & Associates, Post-Gazette Steelers insiders Christopher Carter and Brian Batko ponder the attractiveness of the team's roster for prospective coaching candidates including Chris Shula, Nate Scheelhaase, Mike McCarthy, Anthony Weaver and others. Could the presence of aging stars like Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt, Jalen Ramsey and others dissuade coaches looking to start fresh? Or does the young core led by Joey Porter Jr., Derrick Harmon, Zach Frazier, Troy Fautanu, Broderick Jones, Nick Herbig and DK Metcalf give whomever the next coach turns out to be plenty to mold compared to some of the other open coaching jobs? Our duo tackles those topics, then reflects on coach Sean McDermott's ouster with the Buffalo Bills. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Rob & DT are back to recap the season ending loss in Denver along with the drama-filled week thereafter that started with the firing of HC Sean McDermott and culminated with the press conference heard around the NFL world.Wow, that was yet another gut wrenching loss that our Bills suffered last Saturday night in Denver as the '25 season officially came to a close with a 33-30 OT loss to the Broncos. So many things went wrong for our Bills led by Josh Allen's 4 turnovers (5 total) and yet somehow, we were still in it in the end which makes it even more maddening. 17 was horrendous while being simultaneously great in some spots which was the ultimate roller coaster to witness. In the end the mistakes were too much to overcome as we head into another offseason falling short of the end goal.Speaking of falling short, Terry Pegula decided enough is enough and fired HC Sean McDermott after 9 seasons at the helm. The decision didn't both the fellas as they both agreed it was long overdue, but the manner in which they presented it during Mondays press conference rubbed Rob & Dump Truck, along with a large portion of The Mafia the wrong way.Does Brandon Beane even know that is roster isn't up to snuff? Or does he truly believe we have a SB caliber one? Regardless of his true feelings, the presser screamed of tone deaf leadership which is making the fellas uneasy at such a crucial time in our Josh Allen timeline.Who do you want our Bills to hire as the next HC? The Bills are conducting a widespread search which isn't a bad thing, but they'll need to hit a homerun on this next hire as we are firmly in the 2nd act of 17's career.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/nickel-city-crew-podcast--5347543/support.

On today's episode the guys are back in the studio to break down the U.S. territorial expansion. The United States expanded west through a mix of purchases, treaties, wars, and forced removals, driven by the belief in Manifest Destiny—the idea that the nation was meant to stretch from coast to coast. This expansion brought massive economic growth and new states, but also led to the displacement of Native nations, conflict with Mexico, and long-lasting consequences that still shape the country today. Plus, they get into Arian's triumphant golf round, Michele Tafoya running for senate in Minnesota, Indiana football and the National Championship game, the NFL and political parties Charles Bediako and College Basketball (ft. Rico Bosco), the Buffalo Bills press conference and much more. Enjoy! (00:01:56 )Arian Broke 80!! SEASON 4 EPISODE 52: COUNTDOWN WITH KEITH OLBERMANN A-Block (2:30) SPECIAL COMMENT: It's the Big Lie Redux. Trump appears to be planning some kind of SHOW TRIALS over the 2020 Election - and Nicolas Maduro might be his key “witness." He let it slip at the World Economic Forum yesterday. He told the audience in Davos that he will be prosecuting people over the 2020 Election. Never mind that there's nothing to prosecute anybody for; never mind that he lost; never mind that this has already been through the courts: "It was a rigged election. Everybody now knows that. They found out. People will soon be prosecuted for what they did. That's probably breaking news." In the last week, he has twice insisted Joe Biden and his administration ‘should be arrested’ and he has now said "we caught 'em." In his fugue state News Conference Tuesday, Trump had a question planted about ‘finding things out’ from Maduro about 2020. And Maduro's role in some nonsensical conspiracy theory may be the real reason Trump had Maduro renditioned from Venezuela – not drugs. Regardless: all the tea leaves suggest Trump is going to roll out the Big Lie again, this time perhaps with a phony confession from Maduro in exchange for a pardon or something. Trump is insane and desperate, so now he will actually try to focus the Department of Justice and all elected Republicans on prosecuting Biden and others. You think his Greenland Clown Show is crazy? You think his terrorism in Minnesota is crazy? You ain’t seen nothing yet. And god help us if it gets any traction. If media pushback were insufficient to counter the tsunami of propaganda Trump and his criminal gangs could generate, he might try to use the subsequent unrest as an excuse to interfere with the midterms or even rationalize violating the constitution and seeking another term. B-Block (32:30) THE WORST PERSONS IN THE WORLD: Anchors Aweight, Buffalo Bills' owner Terry Pegula, who has fired his coach even though he thinks Sean McDermott did an "admiral" job. Then there's Labor Secretary Lori Chavez DeRemer and the accusations of an affair with a staffer on the public dime. She's chosen to be represented by a lawyer named Dr. Nick. And then there are America's two most overrated journalists Jim "What Is A Woman?" VandeHei, and Anderson "You Really Think Trump Is Insane?" Cooper and yes they each actually asked those questions this week. C-Block (45:00) THINGS I PROMISED NOT TO TELL: How different was flying nearly half a century ago? There we were, the president of Cornell University and I, waiting to board a plane from New York to Ithaca and there they were, two airline employees, trying to fix a problem in the undercarriage by stuffing paper towels up into it.
