Never did he imagine that someday it would help shape his career. It was the early 2000's that he first was introduced to House Music. He attended clubs in New York like Exit, Arc, and Sound Factory. One night he was at Arc for Danny Tenaglia's "Be Yourself" party and all it took was one moment and one song set him on the path to become a DJ. Spending the most of that decade learning the art of beatmatching and mixing with vinyl, he eventually started to gain local attention with some promoters. In 2007, under the name "Cheric" he landed his first residency at Rebel NYC. A year later, he went to become a resident for ILoveHouseMusicNYC.com which eventually led to his first big break in 2010 with the Groove Cruise Miami. 2010 was also the same year he decided he wanted to produce the music and not just play it. While learning how to produce, he created a group called Static & Bass with a childhood friend and Trance DJ. The duo went on to become residents at Pacha NYC and in 2013 they won the Discovery Project and was invited to play his first Festival at EDC NY. Uninspired by the direction his music was taking him, in 2015 he went solo and completely changed his sound. Депрессии как видишь нет, скорее погода депрессует в Краснодаре.- Давно было интересно почему E-Spectro? что это значит?Почему-почему потому что)) просто понравилось как звучит Espectro, с испанского кстати переводится как «призрак». Добавили дефис, и получилось E-Spectro. Нам нравится)- Расскажите как вы пришли к написании музыки ? что подталкнуло Вас на это? К написанию музыки мы пришли чуть-чуть раньше, чем к диджеингу. Слушали, любили музыку и хотели ее создавать сами. На тот момент, будучи в возрасте 15-16 лет (2005-2006 г.) мы думали, что все кто называют себя диджеями пишут свои треки, но это оказалось не так. Первая программа для написания музыки (если можно ее так назвать) которая попала к нам в руки называлась «Dance eJay». С этого все и началось))- Как бы вы описали свой саунд? Из чего черпаете вдохновение? Тяжело описать свое звучание, со стороны, наверное, виднее. Но повлияли на нас такие артисты как: Gui Boratto, Guy J, Moonbeam, Max Cooper, Kiko, Extrawelt, Apparat, Minilogue, Trentemoller. Можно очень долго перечислять, но каждый из них нам близок по звучанию. Музыка этих артистов нас и вдохновляет.- Что на Ваш взгляд произойдет с музыкой ближайшие пять-десять лет? Как думаете, изменится что то кардинально или нет?На днях Армин должен позвонить сказать, куда курс держать. А если серьезно, то кардинальных изменений думаем, не предвидится. Все новое это хорошо забытое старое, поживем, увидим. Возможно, ломаные ритмы станут еще более популярны. - Как относитесь к новомодному dubstep'у? Положительно, но без фанатизма.- Что скажете о музыкальных тенденциях в Кранодаре?Этот вопрос самый актуальный на данный момент для многих. Хорошего мало. Засилье баров в городе пугает, клубов как таковых уже не осталось. Многим по большому счету безразлично, куда они идут и на что, это очень печально. - Расскажите о Ваших планах на будущее: релизы, лейблы, выступления?Очень ждем выхода нашего совместного трека с краснодарским проектом Escenda, с ремиксами от Zack Roth и достаточно известного артиста из США Stan Kolev. Также планируется конкурс ремиксов на этот трек. Точной даты выхода этого релиза назвать не можем, так как сейчас идет его подготовка.
