In this excerpt from my conversation with Jonathan Gorard, he proposes that particles in Wolfram Physics might be persistent topological obstructions in the hypergraph. He starts with a toy model in which elementary particles are non-planar tangles moving and interacting in an otherwise planar hypergraph. But he doesn't stop there. He explains that there's an infinite variety of hypergraphs that give rise to such persistent topological obstructions. These localized tangles behave in ways that look a lot like particle physics.—Jonathan Gorard Jonathan Gorard at The Wolfram Physics Project Jonathan Gorard at Cardiff University Jonathan Gorard on Twitter The Centre for Applied Compositionality The Wolfram Physics Project Concepts mentioned by Jonathan Utility graph Kuratowski's theorem Wagner's theorem Complete graphs – including K_5 Complete bipartite graphs – including K_3,3 Robertson-Seymour Theorem Graph minor Forbidden minor characterization Image:Feynman diagram Feynmann Diagram Gluon Radiation by Joel Holdsworth, public domain—The Last Theory is hosted by Mark Jeffery, founder of the Open Web MindI release The Last Theory as a video too! In today's episode, I'm excited to be speaking with Dr. Catherine Clinton, a naturopathic doctor who has been practicing for over 15 years. She is an expert in quantum healing and quantum biology. Dr. Clinton's Extensive Background in Natural Medicine Dr. Clinton has always taken a holistic, natural approach in her practice. She focuses on helping patients understand how reconnecting with nature can support healing from a wide array of health conditions. These include autoimmunity, mental health issues, gastrointestinal disorders, hormone imbalances, infections, autoimmunity, anxiety, depression, migraines, and more. Even from a young age, Dr. Clinton was drawn to natural medicine and fascinated by the body's innate capacity to heal itself. She decided to become a naturopathic doctor because she wanted to get to the root causes of health issues, not just treat superficial symptoms. Throughout her career, Dr. Clinton has continued learning about new holistic modalities while also studying ancient healing systems like Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine. She believes we need to honor the wisdom of indigenous cultures that understood the intimate relationship between humans and nature. Dr. Clinton's clinical expertise combined with her passion for bridging ancient wisdom and modern science makes her perfectly suited to explain the emerging field of quantum biology. She has a gift for synthesizing complex concepts into accessible language for patients and students alike. An Introduction to the Field of Quantum Biology So what exactly is quantum biology? In essence, quantum biology examines biological processes through the lens of quantum physics. It looks at how quantum phenomena like entanglement, tunneling, and coherence affect living systems. Quantum physics evolved out of remarkable discoveries in the early 20th century that revealed the strange, almost mystical world of subatomic particles. In this quantum realm, regular physics do not apply. Particles can exist in two places at once. They can also remain connected over long distances in ways that defy our normal understanding of space and time. For a long time, quantum phenomena were only thought to occur under tightly controlled lab conditions at extremely cold temperatures. But quantum biology explores how life hijacks these bizarre quirks of the quantum world to enable its amazing feats. Some key topics within the field of quantum biology include: · The role of electron flow in facilitating biochemical reactions. Rather than simple games of chance, evidence suggests finely orchestrated energy exchanges. · How water inside the body structures itself to support health. Certain molecular configurations of water provide an optimal "terrain" for cells. · The impact of vibration, frequency, and resonance on biological functioning. Our cells and tissues tune into various frequencies that modulate their activities. · The interconnected nature of physiological systems. The old mechanistic view of separated bodily systems is giving way to models of intertwined communication and feedback loops. · The influence of our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs on our biology through mechanisms we are only beginning to grasp. Researchers are discovering that living organisms exploit quantum effects to enable biological processes. Quantum biology reminds us that we are energy beings embedded in a web of energy. It reveals the constant interplay between our external terrain and internal terrain. As pioneers in this emerging discipline, we must tread carefully to build on empirical science without veering into pseudoscience. Quantum biology holds great promise to expand the boundaries of health and healing for all of us. The Critical Importance of Structured Water in the Body One particular area of focus in quantum biology is structured water inside the body. Dr. Clinton has studied extensively the pioneering work of Dr. Gerald Pollock from the University of Washington. His research shows that next to cells and tissues, our bodies contain a previously unrecognized "fourth phase" of water with very unique properties. This special structured water consists of hexagonally stacked sheets of molecules that form what looks like a honeycomb lattice. Standard H2O has a more random molecular arrangement. But structured water molecules align in a repeating hexagonal pattern due to their hydrogen bonding. This allows it to function in some rather astonishing ways. For one, the structured water zone is negatively charged. This negative charge enables the seamless flow of energy within the body that powers our every biochemical reaction. In addition, the voltage created by structured water zones maintains optimal cell membrane potential and mitochondrial function critical for health. Researchers are still teasing out all the roles of structured water, but its importance cannot be overstated. Structured water provides the ideal molecular terrain for our cellular constituents to carry out their activities. However, certain factors can degrade structured water, potentially contributing to disease. These include: · Dehydration - Not obtaining sufficient structured water from regular hydration. · Poor diet - Eating foods that promote cellular inflammation and oxidation. · Toxins or infections - Which damage tissues and impair metabolic processes. · Lack of natural light - Our primary source of the infrared frequencies that build structured water. · Excess stress - Which causes electron loss, lowering cell voltage provided by water layers. · Physical trauma - Which can alter water structures in the brain and nervous system. · Overuse of electronics - These emit EMFs shown to degrade structured water. Fortunately, there are many simple, natural ways we can enhance structured water levels to support optimal health. These include: · Regular hydration with clean, filtered water. · Eating an antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory whole foods diet. · Exposure to gentle infrared energies from sunlight, heat, or near infrared bulbs. · Grounding to replenish electrons that maintain the water battery. · Exercise, since movement generates structuring infrared frequencies. · Reducing EMF exposure by limiting device time and using shielding. · Stress relief practices like meditation, yoga, time in nature, and social connection. By better understanding water as a living matrix that communicates information, we can learn to optimize it in our bodies. This provides the ideal terrain for resilience and regeneration. Additional Ways We Can Benefit from the Science of Quantum Biology In addition to water research, many other insights from quantum biology can help optimize wellness when applied properly. Spending time in nature helps us reconnect and restore depleted energy. The natural frequencies permeating the outdoors entrain our systems. Forest bathing research proves time outside literally alters our nervous system state. Exposing our bodies to variable temperatures promotes adaptability rather than a static climate. Heat and cold cues build mitochondria and antioxidant reserves. Practices like contrast hydrotherapy leverage these effects. Allowing circadian rhythms to flow naturally by reducing artificial light at night. Our bodies require dark to initiate key phases of detoxification, brain cleanup, and hormone balance. Grounding the body helps replenish electrons we lose coping with chronic stress. These electrons increase the negative charge of our water battery. Walking barefoot is free grounding. Identifying and processing stored emotional traumas. Unresolved grief and pain creates blocks in our bioenergetic fields. Energy psychology techniques clear traumas stuck in the body and psyche. Cultivating healthy relationships is an antidote to an epidemic of disconnection, which manifests as disease. Loving bonds help satisfy our core need for belonging. Choosing natural, uncomplicated solutions helps us tend to our inner and outer terrain—the foundation of health. Ancient wisdom recognized that supporting the body's self-healing abilities cures most ills. Practicing gratitude, compassion and presence may beneficially structure water in our bodies. Positive intentions imprint information fields that surround us. The more we understand our quantum nature and reciprocal relationship with the unified field of the cosmos, the better we can support wellbeing. Remembering Our Inherent Interconnectedness is Foundational to Health At its core, quantum biology reminds us that we are inseparable from the world around us. Air, water, sunlight, earth—we are intimately woven into the fabric of nature. Yet so often we forget just how fundamentally our minds and bodies rely on this interconnectedness. Many chronic diseases stem from losing touch with our terrain and environment. Yet even small steps to honor our bond with nature, animals, loved ones, and our own bodies and minds can tangible improve our health. We have become experts at manipulating our external world, but often at the expense of internal balance. Reclaiming health in the modern world requires rediscovering and honoring our bond with nature, each other, and our own deepest selves. This may mean: · Making time for grounding activities like gardening, forest bathing, earthing, and contemplative time near water and other natural features. · Adopting circadian-aligned routines supporting natural biorhythms of activity, waking, eating, and sleeping. · Developing present moment awareness through mindfulness practices that disentangle us from constant ruminations that generate stress. · Fostering community and heartfelt human connections that satisfy our inherent needs for belonging and intimacy. · Slowing down and simplifying some aspects of 21st century life so we can listen to our body's signals about what it needs. Quantum healing entails rediscovering our wholeness. When we embrace our interconnection with all of life, balance and wellbeing naturally follow. The transition from feeling separate and overwhelmed to feeling connected and empowered holds the key to quantum healing. Catalyzing Our Own Healing Journeys No matter one's current state of health, small steps to honor our bond with nature, animals, loved ones, and our own bodies and minds can tangibly improve our wellbeing. With greater knowledge of our quantum biological nature, we can more consciously direct our mind, body and behaviors in alignment with wellness. We may find ourselves naturally adopting habits and practices that optimize the parameters needed for self-healing. However, knowledge alone is not enough. We must also cultivate self-trust and self-care. When we view even small positive changes through the lens of compassion rather than criticism, it supports consistency. Our nervous systems do not like pressure and timelines. Patience allows slow but steady progress. What matters most is refocusing each day on our inner alignment with qualities like love, joy, community, presence, and peace. Our outer terrain effortlessly follows where we lead it from the inside out. If you would like to learn more about Dr. Catherine and how she can help you, you can visit her website here. In this episode of ReInvent healthcare, I dive deep into LDL Particles and what those mean for cardiovascular health. I also share how essential it is to personalize care and use a holistic approach based on genetics and lifestyle, and to examine a full lipid profile to effectively manage the cardiovascular health of our clients. IN THIS EPISODE:LDL Particles Are Not All the SameIt's essential to understand that not all LDL particles are created equal. LDL stands for low-density lipoproteins and plays a crucial role in transporting cholesterol and fats throughout the body. However, high levels of LDL, especially small, dense particles, can increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases like atherosclerosis, heart disease, and strokes. As functional practitioners, it is important to understand this in order to tailor approaches for every individual.Particle Size MattersThe size and density of LDL particles matter when assessing cardiovascular risk. Smaller, denser LDL particles are more atherogenic and susceptible to oxidation, making them more harmful than larger, buoyant particles. These small particles are associated with higher triglyceride levels and often observed in individuals with insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome.Comprehensive Assessment Is KeyStandard lipid panels, which measure cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides, are not enough to assess cardiovascular risk fully. Functional practitioners should consider advanced lipid panels that include particle size and number, assess for oxidized LDL, and examine Lp(a) lipoprotein. Lifestyle factors, such as diet, exercise, and stress management, play a significant role in influencing LDL particle characteristics and should be addressed to reduce cardiovascular risk.ReInvent Healthcare Links Get our FREE Guide to Taking a Detailed Health History that gets you to root causes.Access Additional Resources for Practitioners ready to improve clinical outcomes through our Nutritional Endocrinology Practitioner Training. A year ago yesterday, lightning bolts across parts of Europe and Asia changed direction. The switch was caused by an exploding star two billion light-years away — the possible birth of a black hole. Gamma-ray burst GRB 221009A was first seen by space telescopes. They recorded a blast of gamma-rays, the most energetic form of light. The outburst lasted for more than five minutes — far longer than most outbursts. And it was the most powerful ever seen. Astronomers nicknamed it the BOAT — brightest of all time. Other telescopes in space and on the ground recorded the event in every form of light. It was even bright enough to see through small telescopes. Charged particles from the outburst flooded Earth's upper atmosphere. They disrupted part of the ionosphere — a layer with an electric charge. That caused the ionosphere to expand, and knocked out some radio communications. Particles that flew deeper into the atmosphere caused changes in lightning activity, and even set up mild currents in the ground. The outburst probably erupted when the core of a huge star collapsed to form a black hole. Magnetic fields created a swirling disk around the black hole. The disk powered enormous beams of energy that sliced into space from the poles of the dying star. Earth lined up along one of those beams, so we got a powerful dose of energy — announcing the birth of a black hole. Script by Damond Benningfield Support McDonald Observatory

Neutrinos, or 'ghost particles' as they're known, are made when cosmic rays that are rattling around space at near light speed, smash into other matter. Astronomers say understanding where they come from is key to understanding the dynamics that shape the Milky Way.中微子,又称 “幽灵粒子”,是当宇宙射线以接近光速的速度穿过太空大气层,撞击其它物质时产生的粒子。天文学家们表示,了解中微子的来源是了解导致银河系形成的动力学过程的关键。But these short-lived particles are very difficult to detect, so scientists and engineers created an observatory that turned a cubic kilometre of Antarctic ice into a neutrino finder.然而这些转瞬即逝的粒子很难被探测到,因此科学家和工程师们创建了一个天文台,将一立方公里的南极冰变成了中微子探测器。The IceCube detector, as it's called, is made of thousands of sensors on long cables buried under the South Pole. Presenting their third release of the year, roku welcomes Blanka Barbara to the label for her debut EP. Born in Poland but now based in London, Blanka Barbara first emerged in 2020 with a series of releases via her Rabbit Records imprint. Quickly catching the attention of the progressive house and melodic techno communities, the next two years would see the classically trained pianist and composer go on to record projects for Lane 8's This Never Happened, Ziger's Eat My Hat Music, John OO Fleming's Joof Aura, Mango Alley and Proton's Particles. With 2023 projects for Juicebox Music and Balkan Connection already in the books, Blanka now adds roku to her resume with ‘Ever Closer', alongside remixes from Danny Lloyd and Bondarev. Destined to be a highlight in Blanka's discography, it is the melodic stylings of ‘Ever Closer' which get the release underway. Electrically charged from the outset, its rolling rhythmic structures, striking percussion and character rich groove set the piece on a course for aural enlightenment. Dark bass stabs and haunting overlays cleverly coax across the first act, elevating momentum and mood for a finale of colourful arps and hopeful sonics. The companion piece ‘Descending Into Heaven' finds Blanka showcasing a deeper, more emotive side of her repertoire. The London resident masterfully marries blissful sonics and balmy effects over a framework of warm fluid grooves and precise percussive arrangements. Sitting at the heart of the piece is a reflective interlude, one where hopeful melodies unite in a whirlpool of textural euphoria, perfectly suited for those magical morning moments on the dancefloor. Making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Ever Closer' is Danny Lloyd. With a career that spans the better part of two decades, Italian artist Danny Lloyd has etched his own unique place in progressive music history. Long a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo, the Tuscany resident has taken his smooth effortless sound to long standing imprints Asymmetric Recordings, MNL, Movement, Proton Music and more. Known for being choosy in his projects, Danny's first production of 2023 finds the Italian artist making his roku debut with a hypnotic rendition of ‘Ever Closer'. Opting for a timeless approach, the Italian artist creates a distinctive interpretation in his inimitable style; with arpeggiated fragments and airy sonics uniting over a bed of thumping beats and pulsing basslines, casting a spell over the listener across a fluid first movement, before breaking out into a tastefully restrained and deeply meditative finale. The release concludes with Bondarev making his label debut with the lone interpretation of ‘Descending Into Heaven'. Russian artist Bondarev has been a DJ for the better part of two decades, sharing the stage with some of progressive music's most iconic names, while operating as the booking manager for Saint Petersburg's famed WARPP Club. As a producer, Bondarev first emerged in 2017 with a release via Crossings, a project which would lead to key discography credits courtesy of aboriginal, Mango Alley, Proton's Particles and most recently via WARPP's label, where he operates as the A&R. Now, presenting his first remix of 2023, Bondarev debuts on roku with a powerful take on ‘Descending Into Heaven'. Buoyant and energetic across the first movement, Bondarev continues his stylized ways with rippling grooves, flashing percussion and dark stabs creating a prophetic path into the main break. Sitting comfortably in an emotive yet thought provoking space; childlike motifs and sweeping harmonies converge, rising out of calming atmospheres as the interlude evolves, eventually giving way to a thunderous drop and energetic final movement. From May 24, 2023. We live at a time when technological advances are allowing us to explore ideas faster than ever before. So today, we bring you lab results on ice that affect how we see the outer solar system, and observations of galaxies that affect our understanding of the universe's formation. We go from things smaller than a proton – which we just learned is 0.73 femtometers across -- to galaxy clusters 10s of millions of lightyears across. It's all tied together, and we'll tell you how. (This episode originally aired on television February 11, 2023.) We've added a new way to donate to 365 Days of Astronomy to support editing, hosting, and production costs. Last week, we discovered that the life of faith isn't about what we know, it's about who we trust. At this past week's Gathering, we had considered the importance of how a growing trust in each other helps us develop a growing trust in God. The band performed songs by Van Morrison, Maggie Rogers, Three Dog Night, and Bruce Springsteen.

Do you want to gain new insights into the emergence of life on Earth? Are you curious to know the potential role of iron particles in the formation of organic compounds? If so, you won't want to my analysis on the latest findings. I'll be sharing a new scenario proposed for the emergence of the first building blocks of life on Earth. Don't miss this opportunity to discover the secrets of life's beginnings! In this episode, you will be able to: · Be captivated by the latest advancements in space science, as featured on the SpaceTime podcast. · Understand Virgin Galactic's pursuit to transform the future of space tourism. · Investigate an innovative concept regarding the formation of life's primary constituents on Earth. · Stay current with NASA and ESA's mission to retrieve Martian samples with potential breakthroughs. · Recognize the real-world dangers posed by fungi on animals, The resources mentioned in this episode are: · Read the research article in Science Reports about the emergence of life on Earth. · Learn more about the Mars sample return mission and follow its progress. · Consider booking a commercial space tourism flight with Virgin Galactic. · Visit NASA TV for updates on space missions and discoveries. · Check out the Mars yard at ESA's Planetary Robotics Lab for an immersive experience. · Explore the safety upgrades made to Virgin Galactic's fleet of spaceplanes. · Follow the Italian Air Force's journey as they prepare for their space tourism flight with Virgin Galactic. · Watch the Unity 25 mission video to see the latest test flight in action. The First Mars Sample Return Mission In a notable step towards further exploration of Mars, NASA and the European Space Agency have initiated a mission to bring back samples from the Red Planet. This challenging endeavor will require at least two more Earth to Mars flights, with the Mars Perseverance Rover currently being used to collect half of the samples, while the other half will be gathered using a Mars Descent Vehicle. During the SpaceTime podcast, the host, Stuart Gary discusses the intricacies of this ambitious mission. To achieve their objective, the Mars Ascent Vehicle will launch into space and reunite with the prepositioned Earth Return Orbiter. Before returning to Earth, the sample will be sealed in a special biocontainment system to ensure no contamination from unsterilized Martian material occurs. Once the Earth Entry capsule descends through a parachute, scientists can then begin studying the prized Martian samples. Increased understanding of the potential role of iron particles in the formation of organic compounds, leading to insights into the emergence of life. Research into the emergence of life on Earth never ceases to fascinate and intrigue both scientists and enthusiasts alike. The latest breakthrough in this field revolves around the potential role of iron particles in the formation of organic compounds, which paved the way for the appearance of life on Earth. . Fungal Threats and the Last of Us Zombie apocalypses may seem like a figment of fiction, but the science behind some fungi's ability to manipulate animal behavior is quite real. These fungi can pose significant threats to animals and have a profound impact on their behavior and actions, bringing into focus the idea of infectious, zombie-like control over them. In the SpaceTime podcast, host Stuart Gary and guest Tim Mendham explore the fascinating world of fungal threats to animals. Citing a study about a fungus called alpha cordisps unilateralis, they discussed its impact on ants: forcing them to climb up plants, drop down, and then spread more of the fungi. While it may not transform animals into actual zombies, the duo emphasized the potential risks some fungi pose and their consequences on affected species. For more SpaceTime visit https://www.spacetimewithstuartgary,com
