Forest would have been hoping to get the win to draw level on points with our beleaguered visitors, and things started well when Morgan Gibbs-White tucked home after five minutes. As is so often the case, we should have got another one, and literally paid the penalty when Neco Williams handled on the line and was dismissed, with Ismaíla Sarr scoring the resulting spot kick. However, in the second half, the ten man team showed no let up with a magnificent battling performance to repel Palace, and still managed to break with numbers, but both teams had to settle for a point in the end. After the worst game possible last week, Forest went some way to making up to the fans with a goal-fest and clean sheet against Hungarian opposition. Last week's chief antagonist (and there were many) became Forest's chief protagonist as the skipper made two first half goals, contributed to the penalty award at the death, and turned into prime Zidane for about 20 minutes. The headlines went to Igor Jesus for his two goals, and James McAtee and Dan Ndoye had their best games in a red shirt, with the former richly deserving the goal that he scored when Morgan Gibbs-White gave him the opportunity from 12 yards. Confira: Meu batimento cardíaco acelerou quando abri a boca para refutar acusações que uma amiga querida fazia contra mim. O que eu postara on-line não tinha relação com ela, como ela insinuava. Mas antes de respondê-la, orei. Acalmei-me e ouvi o que ela dizia, e senti sua dor por trás das palavras. Ficou claro que era algo mais profundo do que a superfície aparentava. Minha amiga sofria, e a necessidade de me defender dissolveu-se ao escolher ajudá-la a lidar com a sua dor. Logo, entendi a exortação de Tiago: “estejam todos prontos para ouvir, mas não se apressem em falar nem em se irar” (1:19). Ouvir pode nos ajudar a entender o que há por trás das palavras, evitando a “ira humana [que] não produz a justiça divina” (v.20). Ouvir nos permite entender o coração. Senti que parar e orar me ajudou a lidar com minha amiga. Tornei-me sensível às palavras dela e deixei de lado a minha ira. Talvez se eu não tivesse orado, teria rebatido os pensamentos e compartilhado como me sentia ofendida. Mesmo nem sempre entendendo corretamente as instruções de Tiago, naquele dia, entendi. Parar para orar antes de permitir que a raiva e a ofensa tomassem conta de mim foi a chave para ouvir primeiro e falar depois. When two generations of Lisbon's underground collide, the result is visceral, raw, and uncompromising. Scam Dust is Tiago and Shcuro – two artists channelling decades of experience into something that sounds like Detroit techno filtered through Sheffield's industrial grit with a distinctly Lisbon sensibility. Tiago, Lux Frágil resident and ‘DJ's DJ', returns from a seven-year hiatus from music. Shcuro, Paraíso co-founder of the excellent and scene documenter, breaks free from solo frustration. Living in neighbouring beach towns outside the capital – Parede and Carcavelos – they've made Gastric Pulse: saturated acid, industrial-tinged techno, and sonic dirt of the highest order. This is music built for systems, big systems. Music designed to make you move and break shit. Pure punk in electronic form. The title's a joke about acid music taken literally (see also: “Enzyme Breaks,” “Pepsin Drive”), but the music isn't playing. Felt right to ask em for a mix right? This mix captures their first session together – Bileebob, Conrad Schnitzler via Marcel Dettmann, Plastikman, Jamal Moss. Techno at the margins where things get uncomfortable.
