Comedian and actor Scott Adsit has been on everything from Friends to The Office , but you may know him best as Pete Hornberger from the sitcom 30 Rock . Or perhaps as the voice of Baymax from Big Hero 6 . This weekend, he's in Georgia. Adsit is doing a two-night, four-show run at Dad's Garage in Atlanta. First, he stopped by On Second Thought to share stories about how improv influenced his acting career, why he never really got into stand-up comedy, and his connection to the Marvel Universe.

Join Lily and Scott as they review "Black Tie", a hilarious episode from the Emmy winning first season of one of television's greatest comedies: 30 Rock! Listen as they chart the origins of the series, from Saturday Night Live head writer Tina Fey's proposed sitcom about a cable news network to almost getting shelved by a pair of NBC executives. They'll also discuss the uproarious yet tragic character of Prince Gerhard, a sickly European noble (played by Paul Rubens) who falls in love with his birthday party crasher Jenna, the volatile ex-wife of Jack (played by Isabella Rossallini), and how Kenneth and Tracy play the metaphorical angel and devil on Pete Hornberger's tired shoulders. From the star-studded cast of Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, and Jack McBrayer, to the great tone set by great music and the bustling New York City setting, it's no wonder why it's considered one of the all-time greats. So celebrate your body and your mind, have a glass of champagne (if you can safely metabolize grapes) and enjoy the show! Please email us at hittingplayshow@gmail.com Hitting Play on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/HittingPlay Scott's Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/MCandFriends Scott's Vine: http://www.vine.co/MCandFriends Lily's Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/Lilipution22 Lily's YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/lilipution22 Shawn's Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/ShawnWenzel78

Rich is a bit groggy after pretending to be Paul Weller at Karaoke Circus last night, but he's excited about having seen Pete Hornberger from 30 Rock in the street, even though he has a real life movie star as his guest today. Omid Djalili has stories of experimental theatre in the Czech Republic, possibly killing Oliver Reed and maybe breaking up Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Rich looks back to a pivotal career moment in the Fringe of 2007, whilst Omid recounts the antics of towel thief Andre Vincent and the comedy awards announcement is made during the show, so there's time to chat about Richard's repeated failure to be nominated for anything. With stand-up from the wonderful Jen Brister and the last chance to win a wine voucher from www.nakedwines.com
