Zo had gone apartment hunting over the summer. His fortunes had changed and he could, for the second time, move out of his mother's house (and, though she professed love and admiration and was sure to remind him that he could come back home anytime - Zo was sure that she was glad to see him go). Zo looked at a lot of apartments, most of which he could barely afford. One particular apartment , that was well within his budget, was legitimately terrifying. It was definitely haunted. Zo definitely saw ghosts. One in particular was as goofy and cantankerous as he was absolutely horrific. On the several times that he visited the place, that is, weighing the options of affordability while living with a poltergeist, the spooky specter appeared as a giant spider, a giant snake, and a frightening used car salesman. Even with all the different shapes that the spirit would take the thing maintained the same ghoulish drunken clown face. Ultimately, Zo decided against renting that apartment. He supposed that was the goal of the ghost haunting the place: to keep Zo from renting it. The other thing that Zo could remember from these encounters was that he could've sworn that the thing had a name . . . Did someone call it Beetlejuice? The Other Side of Midnight with Lionel offers a different way of thinking that challenges conventional news and headlines, which Lionel states he does not believe. The show delivers stories and questions "you ain't going to hear anybody talk about" by exploring the psychology of news and mind control, examining persuasion techniques (citing Amway and motivational speakers), and dissecting topics where mainstream narratives are questioned: these include controversial social issues like conversion therapy for minors and the nature of sexual identity, legal and political critiques (such as the James Comey perjury charges and the erratic behavior of figures like Katie Porter and Kamala Harris), the psychological control exerted in predatory relationships where men like Bill Bellichick and Alec Baldwin are "whipped", and deep-dive analysis into suspicious events such as the Palisades and Lahaina wildfires, including theories involving directed energy weapons (DEW) and sabotage efforts by Russian and Chinese forces. By fostering suspicion and a fertile imagination (fecundity), Lionel provides the context needed so you "never have to wonder what the heck is going on here" Learn more about your ad choices. Lionel confronts the "cult of love" and the devastating reality of "terminal whipped" men. Lionel examines high-profile cases like Bill Belichick and Alec Baldwin, arguing that these men are suffering from complete and total psychological control. Learn why this type of domination is considered an addiction and why men who lose their souls to predators need an immediate intervention. Learn more about your ad choices. Nothing screams the early '90s more than a Tom Clancy thriller, and The Hunt for Red October (1990) might just be the finest adaptation of the bunch. This week on Born to Watch, we take a deep dive into Cold War tension, Sean Connery's questionable Russian accent, Alec Baldwin's finest non-30 Rock performance, and why this film still makes waves decades later. And yes, we're calling this the definitive The Hunt for Red October 1990 Review. It's all systems go as Whitey, G-Man, and DJ Strangles man the periscope and dive deep into this submarine classic. From the moment Connery's Ramíus announces his defection plan to the epic underwater cat-and-mouse chase, the boys break down what makes this a tight, thrilling, and surprisingly rewatchable flick. We cover everything: from Connery's incredible second-act career run (is Red October peak Connery?), to Alec Baldwin's short but strong tenure as Jack Ryan, to the underrated gravitas of Scott Glenn and Sam Neill. Add in a stellar supporting cast that includes Tim Curry, James Earl Jones, and Stellan Skarsgård, and you've got a Cold War nail-biter filled with testosterone, torpedoes, and tense moral decisions. There's time to unpack the politics, too, the Clancy realism, the U.S. Navy flex, and that juicy little nugget of 1990s pre-internet espionage fantasy. But of course, it's not all sonar pings and missile tubes. The crew gets sidetracked (as always) by tales of sub dreams, questionable airline bear policies, and Damo's beer-and-hot-dog benchwarmer story. The team also revisits the box office and critical legacy of The Hunt for Red October. Was it Oscar-worthy? How do the effects hold up in 2025? Is this really the best Jack Ryan movie? Spoiler: the debate gets passionate, and there's no clear winner between Baldwin, Ford, Affleck, Pine, and Krasinski, but there is a winner for worst submarine hygiene. Cigarettes below deck? Not a good time. With classic Born to Watch segments like “Overs and Unders," "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly,” and a brilliant fan voicemail, this episode has something for every cinephile, Cold War nerd, and nostalgic '90s action fan.So fire up the Caterpillar Drive, crank the Basil Poledouris score, and set your course for one of the most unexpectedly hilarious and insightful takes on a certified action-thriller classic.JOIN THE CONVERSATIONIs The Hunt for Red October the greatest Jack Ryan movie?Should smoking on submarines be an executable offence?Did Jack Ryan seriously buy a business class seat for a teddy bear?Drop us a voicemail at https://www.borntowatch.com.au and tell us if this Cold War classic is a certified banger — or just blowing smoke.Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your pods. Eric, Jeff, Styles, Sheek, Jadakiss and Kay Rosewood got together in Yonkers to break down the 2006 crime thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, and Mark Wahlberg, with Martin Sheen, Vera Farmiga, Alec Baldwin and Anthony Anderson in supporting roles. We discussed rats, ratting, cops, integrity, class, race, who we REALLY were rooting for, what the most devastating death was, whose baby Vera was carrying, Anthony Anderson's big moment, Scorcese's Oscar win, how legendary Leo and Jack are and so much more!!! PLUS: an all new word from Uptown Paco and a celebration of Sheek for his birthday!!! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode of "Normal World," Dave Landau, 1/4 Black Garrett, and Angela kick things off with unusual headlines, from a nun in Ohio celebrating her 105th birthday on the golf course to a Texas man rescuing a newborn abandoned in a dumpster. The crew then reacts to a bizarre Homeland Security video that feels more like a Saturday morning cartoon than a government warning, before joking their way through fashion trends, forgotten shows, and the curious careers of Billy Zane, Bruce Campbell, and Alec Baldwin. The conversation shifts to Sean Penn's history of fights, Jude Law's awkward defense at the Oscars, and the infamous Will Smith slap. From there, they reminisce about '90s sitcoms, the odd rise and fall of TV formats, and the cultural status of pinky rings, Gucci loafers, and Louis Vuitton luggage. International politics enter the mix with Britain's recognition of Palestine and the spectacle of protest culture, which the hosts approach with sharp skepticism. Later, they highlight Corey Feldman's run on Dancing with the Stars, his Michael Jackson-inspired choreography, and his enduring pop culture mystique. The panel then examines Donald Trump and RFK Jr.'s warnings about Tylenol, questions surrounding autism, and the unintended consequences of health debates. The show closes with Gary Busey's probation for misconduct at a convention, his unpredictable career from Buddy Holly to Pet Judge, and a final detour into the surprising evolution of Anthony Michael Hall. An overblown mess of a movie? Both of these things? The widely reported deal that will hand control of Paramount and its myriad properties — including CBS News — is less about business and more about cementing pro-Israel control over news content in the United States. Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss how with staunch Zionist Bari Weiss positioned to influence editorial direction, CBS's independence is finished — any critical coverage of Israel will be killed before it airs. Glenn Greenwald, James Li and others are cited to show how Weiss's Free Press is essentially a Zionist Substack being inflated into a $200M “asset” only because of its ideological value. They connect Larry Ellison's CIA-linked fortune, his massive donations to the IDF, and Netanyahu ties to explain how media consolidation doubles as a foreign policy loyalty pledge. Jimmy also ridicules Weiss's past smears of Tulsi Gabbard, her flimsy “independent” brand, and CBS executives folding after a Gaza segment. Plus segments on Steve Bannon ripping into Trump's recent tech bigwig dinner at the White House and sh*tlib commentator David Pakman's lies, obfuscation and misrepresentations about his payments from Democratic Party-aligned groups, Gaza whitewashing and email collection scams. Also featuring Stef Zamorano and Mike MacRae. And a phone call from Alec Baldwin!

Wer mitschütteln will: Viel Freude beim Zuhören!

Americans' views of the war between Israel and Hamas have changed, and not for the better. Stu and Pat, filling in for Glenn, also review President Trump's latest approval ratings, especially related to the Epstein files. The media and Democrats insist the only way to stop mass shootings like the Minnesota Catholic school atrocity is to take Americans' guns away. But they still fail to understand how “assault rifles” work. Why is the media so obsessed with using the killer's preferred pronouns?! Right On Radio — live, fast and urgent on August 29, 2025. The host opens the last live show of the month with a rapid-fire format, the listener-driven "Word on Word" game comparing Proverbs 16:3 and Galatians 3:28, and a decisive community vote. The episode balances Scripture, current events, and a featured audio clip that frames the rest of the analysis. The centerpiece is a previously aired six‑minute clip about "Looking Glass" timeline technology, its alleged ability to forecast and constrain futures, and the idea of a timeline convergence that cannot be manipulated past a certain point. The clip and host decode themes of inevitability, awakening, dark vs. light forces, and the belief that divine providence ultimately limits elite control — including commentary about the rise of an Antichrist figure as part of God's larger plan. The host then delivers rapid‑fire news and analysis: commentary on the reported firing of a Federal Reserve governor and claims the Fed has been moved under Treasury management, anticipation of President Trump's state visit (Sept 17–19) and his U.N. address (Sept 23), and fresh speculation about the City of London, Israel and Gaza. Recent law‑enforcement moves such as the Bolton home raid are discussed as public‑perception preparation for broader indictments and arrests. The show ties together recurring names and institutions — Soros, the Rothschilds, Elon Musk's contentions, the Red Cross/Haiti/Clinton threads, and concerns about human‑trafficking/pedophilia investigations — while warning of accelerating developments. On a cultural note, the host plays a short comedic roast clip (Sean Hayes) targeting Alec Baldwin to lighten the mood, then closes with music. The broadcast also celebrates meeting a Podbean support goal that preserved their silver status and thanks listeners for donating and participating. Practical details and community touches: listeners are invited to Saturday night prayer on the show's Telegram channel at 8 p.m., and the host previews Sunday's program covering 1 Thessalonians chapter 3. The episode weaves scripture, geopolitical interpretation, prophetic framing and media commentary — an overview of what to expect for listeners seeking spiritual perspective on rapidly unfolding news. Over the course of eight years in the cast of ‘Saturday Night Live,' Beck Bennett performed comedy with more than 150 celebrity hosts. But no one—not even Donald Trump himself—was as difficult to work with as Elon Musk. In the 300th episode of The Last Laugh, Bennett looks back on his SNL audition, discusses what it was like to join the show with one of his oldest friends Kyle Mooney (with whom he just launched his own new podcast), and reveals exactly what made Musk a more “offensive” collaborator than Trump. He explains how he knows Vladimir Putin liked his shirtless impression a lot more than Trump liked Alec Baldwin's portrayal, how he knew it was finally time to leave the show, and how Lorne Michaels nearly talked him into staying. Finally, Bennett talks about the two very different movies he appears in this summer: voicing a cartoon dog in the raunchy Netflix movie ‘Fixed' and joining the DC cinematic universe as The Daily Planet's Steve Lombard in ‘Superman.'Follow Beck Bennett on Instagram @beckbennettFollow Matt Wilstein on Bluesky @mattwilstein Follow The Last Laugh on Instagram @lastlaughpodHighlights from this episode and others at The Daily Beast Hosted on Acast. Sarma Melngailis seemed destined for success. A brilliant student who started her career in finance, she later pursued her passion for food and co-founded Pure Food and Wine, one of New York City's hottest vegan restaurants that attracted stars like Alec Baldwin. But Sarma's life took a shocking turn when she fell under the influence of a controlling con man who manipulated her into a web of lies, fraud, and destruction. This week, the No More Late Fees gals are taking it to the clouds—literally—with a deep dive into Sky High, the 2005 Disney superhero flick that blended high school angst with spandex and laser vision. Jackie and Danielle relive the charm of Will Stronghold's awkward ascent from powerless freshman to full-on hero, fangirl hard over Warren Peace (because duh), and marvel at the casting perfection that gave us Kurt Russell, Kelly Preston, and Linda Carter in one glorious package. If you've ever wondered what Hogwarts would look like with capes and cafeteria brawls, this is your cinematic comfort food. But that's not all! The duo spill all the juicy behind-the-scenes tea—from the sequel that never was to casting “what-ifs” that will make your head spin (Alec Baldwin? Danny Trejo?!). There's debate over superhero genetics, impassioned rants about Layla's questionable choices, and a proper send-up to the real MVP: Ron Wilson, Bus Driver. Add in some throwback trivia, fandom hot takes, and a nostalgic love letter to Disney's mid-2000s magic, and you've got an episode that's more fun than a power placement day gone rogue. Buckle up, listeners—this one's sky high in laughs and geeky glee.·Season 5 Episode 16—No More Late Fees https://nomorelatefeespodcast.com909-601-NMLF (6653)—Follow Us on Social:Instagramhttps://www.instagram.com/nomorelatefees TikTokhttps://www.tiktok.com/@nomorelatefees Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/nomorelatefeesYoutubehttps://www.youtube.com/@nomorelatefees Twitterhttps://x.com/NoMoreLateFees —CONQUERingmyconquering.com10% Off Code: JACKIE10

He is representing himself and is seeking spousal support. Denise Richards filed for an ex parte temporary restraining order from Aaron Phypers. Photographs of a black eye were submitted as evidence and she explained that her laptop and phone were stolen. Denise accuses Aaron of disseminating private nude photographs and text messages from her stolen laptop to various news organizations, including the Daily Mail, even after the TTRO was issued. Denise moved out of their shared Calabasas home in 2023 due to marital issues and has since been renting three separate townhouses. Aaron, along with his parents, is still living in the Calabasas rental. On August 8th, a court hearing is scheduled to address the temporary restraining order. The purpose of this hearing is to determine if a more permanent restraining order needs to be issued, or if the existing temporary order should be extended. Alec Baldwin's malicious prosecution lawsuit against the prosecutor and Kari Morrissey, related to the "Rust" prosecution, was dismissed by the judge on July 29, 2025, because no significant action had been taken in 180 or more days. Baldwin's attorneys stated to Law 360 that they have been in good faith settlement discussions and will refile the lawsuit if these talks are not favorably resolved.
