The Thessalonians were worried about some of their brothers who had died. Would they miss the gathering unto Jesus at His return? Paul clarifies when this will happen and assures them that God will bring the souls of the dead in Christ with Him at his return and they will be the first to receive their immortal bodies.

Sunday, June 11, 2023 – Today's message is "The Imminent Rapture of the Church." For many people, a discussion about the Rapture of the Church is debatable, fearful, and somewhat nebulous. However, that's not what God would have at all. He gives good instruction and fair warnings in His Word that we can be educated and comforted. Will we know the Day and hour of Jesus' return to take the Church away? No, but we can know the season and should be living with anticipation of meeting Jesus in the air. That's what this message is about. We can be completely confident in our relationship with Jesus; that will take all fear away and replace it with a joyful excitement of what that Day and the thereafter will be like as we see Jesus face-to-face.
