Church leaders were not distant figures but active participants in his suffering and trauma. He endured the silent screams of childhood trauma, brushes with human trafficking disguised as “mission trips,” and the insidious grip of unclean spirits that he boldly names within the walls of Calvary Chapel - an organization he unflinchingly calls a cult whose chains must be shattered and exposed so others can breathe free.Yet even as a little boy, a light inside of him refused to be extinguished.
