In today's message, Pastor Jack kicks off a new series on End Times by focusing on the rapture, urging us to be "rapture ready" by living in a state of constant faith and readiness for Christ's return at any moment. He explains that the rapture, or "catching away," is when Jesus will descend from heaven, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then those alive will be caught up together with them in the air to always be with the Lord. Pastor Jack emphasizes that because no one knows the day or hour, we must be perpetually prepared, using our faith to move mountains, win souls, and live out God's vision, rather than becoming complacent by trying to predict end-times timelines. He clarifies that only a pre-tribulation rapture view allows for Christ's imminent return, and he teaches that our current corruptible bodies will be changed in an instant into incorruptible, glorified bodies suited for heaven. Furthermore, he identifies the church as the Restrainer of evil in the world, which will be taken out of the way before the Antichrist is revealed during the Great Tribulation, a period of God's wrath from which believers are delivered. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.
