When any of us live inward-focused, chasing contentment through what we can gain in this world, we can get trapped in the feeling of not having enough. And when you feel you don't have enough, enough will never be enough. But contentment is not in what we get in this world, it's found in what we give. When the focus isn't on you, but on serving God and serving people, you'll find incredible joy and satisfaction in what Christ said: it truly is more blessed to give than to receive. Live like Christ, for Christ, to gain Christ, and you will be truly content.

After around 2,000 years, after the Fall in the Garden of Eden, there is a turn of grace by God by His calling of Abram. God's grace is not only given TO Abram it is given THROUGH Abram. Through Abram and his offspring, ALL nations/people will be blessed. And they were and we are. But we tend to get caught up in celebrating OUR being blessed without sharing God's grace. There is plenty of grace to go around. It is our nature to turn in on ourselves, celebrate what we have, and not want to or forget to share it. God's grace is NOT JUST FOR YOU. It's for ALL PEOPLE. He repeatedly returns to us in grace, and He repeatedly turns us in grace toward others. How's that going for you? Turning in grace toward others? How is God turning you in grace toward others in YOUR life? How might God work through you to be a blessing to others in little or even big ways? Possibly there are things in your life you would like to turn AWAY from? How's that going for you? What are things you would like to turn towards in your life? Turning towards God's grace and sharing it with others is God's desire for you. Genesis 12:1–9 Romans 4:1–8, 13–17 John 3:1–17

Today, the Enemy of God wants to target God's Holy Temple. He wants to defile your temple by deceiving you into believing that what you do with your body doesn't matter. He wants to make your temple accessible to your boyfriend or your girlfriend outside of sacred marriage. He wants to make your temple accessible to someone else's spouse. He wants to make your temple accessible to prostitutes and pornography. He wants to make you believe that it's your body, your choice. Whatever your body wants or needs, have at it. Everything is lawful and permissible! Yet the question at the very root, for the Corinthians back then and for all Christians today: does your physical body matter to God as much as your spiritual soul? YES 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 |You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. Christ paid for your body with his blood. To be one with you… his Spirit to dwell in you… because one day God will resurrect you, forever.
What do we do with the guilt of sin? Many times we don't own it. We tend to “pass the buck.” We tend to rationalize “it's not MY fault.” It's human nature. It's exactly what Adam and Eve did in the garden that fateful day when they gave into temptation. What do you do when YOU give into temptation? Do you take accountability or do you pass the buck? Unfortunately, because of our sinful condition, of which David reminds us in Psalm 51, we were even conceived in, we not only pass the buck, but we just keep on sinning in our thoughts, in our words and in our deeds. So now what? Well, Jesus takes all of those sins. He takes them to the cross. He says, “The buck stops here. Right here at the cross.” And it does… and He did, take them to the cross with Him so that we might be forgiven and redeemed. He WANTS you to be with Him. It's why He did what He did. Our response? Repentance, just like King David. Genesis 3:1–21 Romans 5:12–19 Matthew 4:1–11

In this powerful message, Pastors Tim and Greg Hendricks challenge us to stop negotiating with the enemy and fully surrender our lives to Jesus. True victory—winning God's way—comes through faithfulness, holiness, and total devotion. Pastor Greg reminds us that the world may label us, but only Jesus gives us legitimacy and eternal life. Like the faithful sons of Zadok, access to God follows allegiance to Him. Holiness isn't perfection but alignment—what we tolerate privately will eventually show publicly. When we stay faithful in the fire, live holy as a lifestyle, and remain committed to our inheritance in Christ, we experience the closeness, freedom, and divine connection that only full surrender brings.

The real reason people are blind to Jesus isn't lack of evidence—it's a moral issue rooted in loving darkness rather than light. At the crucifixion, everyone mocked Jesus except one criminal who saw what others missed. To see Christ the King, you must first see yourself as the criminal in need of salvation. Pastor Greg teaches from Luke 23 and how it shows we're all criminals that are blind to Christ. However, there is hope! Two criminals hung beside Jesus with two different destinies: one humbled himself and received paradise, the other remained proud and faced judgment.Visit https://www.centralchurch.com to get involved with Central Church.

Do you judge on God's standards of faithfulness, or do you criticize them based on your standards? WHAT IF ministers like the one standing on the street corner with their bullhorn, or any of those in the pictures… stand before Christ on judgment day, and Christ applauds them for actually being faithful to make Jesus known? WHAT IF he finds their motives to be beautiful? WHAT IF he finds their perseverance commendable despite criticisms from fellow Christians? This message has been about how we deal with criticism. What if the criticism you need to deal with is the criticism not coming at you, but FROM you? God-forbid that like these Critical Corinthians we should ever act glorified, like we have no sin to work on. Church, how should we deal with criticism? AGGRESSIVELY. And if God should be revealing any critical/judgmental spirit in us, will you deal aggressively with it in repentance? Though already justified, may we not assume we've arrived and are glorified. We're Sinners being sanctified… sinners still with room to grow.
