The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are the distribution of God's reign on earth, through which the Holy Spirit builds and expands the Kingdom of Heaven. Join us as Pastor Greg dives deep into the “utterance” of both knowledge and wisdom.
On our own, we are not capable of giving anything to God. Our works don't cut it. Can NOT cut it. God blesses us with gifts that don't involve doing but receiving, receiving his goodness, grace and His promises. Promises to never leave or forsake us. Promises to cover us with the robe of His Son's righteousness. We are blessed not because good things are happening to us, we are blessed because of what Jesus has done for us when He suffered and died for us. When He rose again for us. This is how He has restored us. So the question becomes, what does it look like to live that restored life? Isaiah 57:14-21 1 Corinthians 1:26-31 Matthew 5:1-3

This past Wednesday, Pastor Greg Hendricks delivered a timely and powerful word that served as fresh manna for the Faith Chapel family. Through Scripture, he revealed the importance of winning the battle of the mind and cultivating a life anchored in the peace of God.Drawing from Philippians 4, Isaiah 26, and other key passages, Pastor Greg taught that peace is not found in the absence of problems but in the presence of Christ. As believers fix their minds on things above, guard their hearts, reject anxiety, and meditate on God's truth, they position themselves to walk in the life and peace that only the Holy Spirit can provide. This message challenged the congregation to move beyond simply hearing God's Word and to become doers of it through prayer, obedience, and daily fellowship with Jesus. From learning to cast every burden upon the Lord to renewing the mind through truth, this sermon offered practical and biblical wisdom for anyone seeking freedom from worry, victory over mental strongholds, and a deeper walk with God.If you've been battling fear, anxiety, distraction, or discouragement, this message will encourage you to fix your eyes on Christ, trust His faithfulness, and experience the perfect peace promised to those whose minds are stayed on Him.
The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are the distribution of God's reign on earth, through which the Holy Spirit builds and expands the Kingdom of Heaven. Join us as Pastor Greg starts the Part 1 of a 7 Part series over the GIFTS of the HOLY SPIRIT. In this episode, we not only cast the full vision of the series, but start with a foundational gift - the Gift of Faith. Faith is to the gifts what wind is to a sail.

Packinghouse's Wednesday night worship service from June 3, 2026. Genesis 50 concludes the book of Genesis by focusing on the deaths of Jacob and Joseph while highlighting God's faithfulness through generations. After Jacob dies, Joseph honors his father's request to be buried in Canaan, leading a remarkable funeral procession from Egypt back to the family burial place purchased by Abraham. Pastor Greg emphasizes how this demonstrates Jacob's faith that God's promises were tied to the land God had given to Abraham and his descendants. - Greg Opean - Wednesday, June 3, 2026
[This episode originally aired on August 20th of 2024][Watch this on YouTube]Seacoast Church was started in 1988 by Pastor Greg and Debbie Surratt who moved from Illinois to Charleston, SC in 1987 with their four kids, Jason, Josh, Jessica, and Jenny. Early on, their family endured life-threatening hardship—two of the kids surviving a massive car wreck and their oldest daughter, Jessica, surviving an extremely close-call in a jet ski accident. On this episode, Pastor Greg, Pastor Josh Surratt, and Jenny Mayer (the youngest of the bunch) sit down with host, Joey Svendsen to discuss those dark times, including the narratives of those dreadful accidents. They reflect on God's goodness shown through church community and ponder these early seasons in the context of spiritual warfare and God's sustenance. The three also treat the listenership to some fun stories with hilarious insight on the Surratt family, back in the old days when our Lead Pastor, Josh Surratt, still got spankings. On this EpisodeJenny Mayer / Instagram Greg Surratt / Instagram Josh Surratt / Instagram Joey Svendsen, host / InstagramSeacoast Podcast is now on InstagramBe a Patron of the podcast We have a YouTube Channel for videos of all episodes since Jan. 2024. When God sends his angels to gather his wheat, will be gathered also? Or, will you be burned with the tares?
Pastor Greg Scott closes out the final week of our teaching series, The Life of Abraham. Abraham modeled faith, responsibility, and leadership not just in his own life but in how he impacted others, including younger people like Lot. True legacy is built by thinking beyond the present and intentionally passing down faith, values, and spiritual truth. Rather than focusing only on personal success, believers are called to guide and influence those coming after them through integrity, honesty about their weaknesses, and consistent faith in God. In this message, Pastor Greg explores the following Scriptures: Genesis 18:18–19 Psalm 78:1–7 Malachi 4:6 Psalm 71 Psalm 145:4
1 Corinthians 14:3 | On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation. So it is meant to build up, not tear down. But upbuilding doesn't mean it's always fluffy/positive. It could be corrective, but the end goal is constructive. True prophecy should leave one stronger in faith. Church, that's the power of prophecy. May we all be eager to prophesy. And remember, it's not the skill of the person, it's the gift of the Spirit.
In "You're Never Too Far Gone to Come Home," Pastor Greg explores the parable of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15. Through this powerful story, he reminds us that Jesus is deeply concerned for those who are lost and reveals the compassionate heart of the Father. No matter how far we may wander, God's love continually invites us to return home to Him.
All Jesus is the end of Matthew. It is fitting as Jesus is such a theme for Matthew throughout his gospel. At the end of this gospel Jesus reminds or emphasizes he has ALL authority and it has been given to him by the Father. He instructs his disciples to make disciples of ALL nations, in other words, ALL people. Disciples are to obey ALL Jesus has commanded them. That's a lot of ALL's. But then Jesus reminds them that he will ALWAYS be with them - ALWAYS. And He is. Through His Word, through His sacraments and through His Spirit, Jesus is ALWAYS with us, Always with us until He returns in ALL his Glory. Gen. 1:1–2:4a Acts 2:14a, 22–36 Matt. 28:16–20
As we conclude our HEARING GOD series, Pastor Greg gives a timely message on the voice of God amidst His house. The voice of the House:1. Sounds like rushing waters2. Establishing ORDER & RECONCILIATION
Though you are different every day, the work of God is the same every day. The work of God is not finished until we go to every person and every place to declare God's glory and bring all to him. Matthew 28
This week at NTC Massena, Pastor Greg continues our series on "Created For..." by speaking on Created for Peace! Jesus said, "Peace I give to you, not as the world gives..." How can we know the Peace of Jesus? Join us every week as we worship and grow together!
1. What are the Gifts of Tongues and Prophecy? 2. Why is Prophecy more desirable than Tongues? 3. What principle should guide the gifts of prophecy and tongues? Paul says pursue Love and desire the spiritual gifts that build up… and if it can build up the believers in the room, and benefit the unbelievers in the room… then pursue those greater gifts.
What a gift. A gift that is meant to be shared. The Living Waters that Jesus refers to sharing with others in John 7 is the Holy Spirit that has been placed inside of us at our baptisms. Again, what a gift, but a gift not to keep to ourselves. In verse 38 Jesus says, “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘ Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'” These Living Waters are the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Gifts like love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness, all gifts of the Holy Spirit are to flow over out of our hearts for others and into others. Jesus says in verse 37 “Whoever” believes in me. The gift of the Holy Spirit and the Living Waters that flow out of our hearts are for ALL people. Num. 11:24–30 Acts 2:1–21 John 7:37–39
