You can watch the full recording on our YouTube Channel. Sermon Text: Mark 9:14-27 (NKJV) And when He came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. 15 Immediately, when they saw Him, all the people were greatly amazed, and running to Him, greeted Him. 16 And He asked the scribes, "What are you discussing with them?" 17 Then one of the crowd answered and said, "Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 "And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not." 19 He answered him and said, "O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me." 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, "How long has this been happening to him?" And he said, "From childhood. 22 "And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us." 23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!" 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, "He is dead." 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose. Theme: The Paradox of Christian Life 1. Sin in the Midst of Grace 2. Hello Hillside Family! Have you ever had an experience of the imagination in which you felt pulled out of one realm and pulled into another? I (Dan) have, and I'm talking about it this Sunday morning in my Week 4 message on Genesis 13-14 from our "School of Faith: The “Tests” and Triumphs of Abraham fall series. I'm sure Pastor Wayne will similarly have strange stories of the past to share as he gives his Genesis 13-14 sermon. As the last sentence indicates, our one church family is meeting in two places for service this Sunday, on the hill and at the park. So, if you have a friend who would feel more comfortable on the hill, invite him/her to join you for church at 2060 Magnolia Way. On the other hand, if you have a friend who would feel more comfortable in the park, invite him/him to join you at 1375 Civic Drive. One way or the other, invite a friend and expect a great morning of praise, teaching, and connection!Come worship with Hillside Covenant Church LIVE at 10:00 AM both online and in person as Dan Seitz teaches from Genesis 13-14.This week's sermon notes are available at: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZBJse5ZHhrjKvFBfWYRHEiFTeTbtHk9cgpkIf you are new to Hillside and are looking for ways to get connected and build community, visit our website: https://www.hillsidecovenant.org/ We welcome you to Hillside and are so glad you joined us today! To give in support of Hillside Covenant and its ministries follow this link: https://hillsidecovenant.churchcenter.com/givingThe sermon from Hillside Covenant Church, Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Jump Hebrews 11:8-10; Mark 6:30-44 If it doesn't require faith are we really following Jesus? It's amazing to me the levels of faith we can learn to live at if we will just take the first step. He is faithful and the impact is powerful when we do. But so often we arrange our lives around comfort, control and what we know. The lesson this week is about the necessity of faith in following Jesus. Sometimes ya just gotta "Jump". #NorthRidge #Jesus#churchonline WELCOME PAD / MY RESPONSE -- Use this link to respond to the sermon, request prayer, or to give tithe/offerings online: https://northridgefellowship.churchce...I'M SAYING YES TO JESUS!https://northridgefellowship.churchce... This recording is a condensed version of the sermon preached at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mankato, Minnesota on September 21, 2025. You can watch the full recording on our YouTube Channel. Sermon Text: Luke 6:6-11 (NKJV) Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose right hand was withered. 7 So the scribes and Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal on the Sabbath, that they might find an accusation against Him. 8 But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, "Arise and stand here." And he arose and stood. 9 Then Jesus said to them, "I will ask you one thing: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy?" 10 And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. 11 But they were filled with rage, and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus. Hello Hillside! Welcome to church and welcome back to The School of Faith. This Sunday we will continue our study of Abraham's life, learning lessons that deepen our own walk of faith today. The curriculum is set, the lessons are relatable, and yes, there will be a test. But do not worry, we are in this together: worshipping, studying, and being refreshed to step out in faith and follow God's guidance. It is going to be a super Sunday on the Hill as we gather as a church family. Let us make a joyful noise to the Lord, encourage one another, and fix our eyes on Jesus.Come worship with Hillside Covenant Church LIVE at 10:00 AM both online and in person as Stephen Wysong teaches from Genesis 12:10-20 (CSB).This week's sermon notes are available at: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZXcc15ZdI3EyXiyHS45nnu2snKyPmgamgNXIf you are new to Hillside and are looking for ways to get connected and build community, visit our website: https://www.hillsidecovenant.org/ We welcome you to Hillside and are so glad you joined us today! To give in support of Hillside Covenant and its ministries follow this link: https://hillsidecovenant.churchcenter.com/givingThe sermon from Hillside Covenant Church, Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Maple Park Church Sermon - September 21st, 2025 by Maple Park Church
Topic: With God In The StruggleJohn 16:33; Hebrews 12:1-13 "In this world you will have trouble." Jesus said it as plainly as he could. Why do we so often have crises of faith when trouble comes? And yet, these crises are critical for building our relationship with God. The lesson this week is about perseverance when we can't see the purpose. It's learning to be "With God in the Struggle". Maple Park Church Sermon - September 14th, 2025 by Maple Park Church
Topic: Relationships MatterJohn 15:9-17, Acts 4:32-35 Love doesn't just happen. Jesus knew that. It's why he had to not only define it and demonstrate it but also to command it. Every follower of Jesus is expected to engage in actively loving other believers. No one gets to sit back and judge. It takes all of us and it's beautiful when we do. The lesson this week is critical to our success.
