Today’s Topics: 1, 2, 3, 4) There are a lot of movies and books on evil and the demonic, but are they bringing me closer to Christ and to Heaven? If we find ourselves more interested in the things of hell, then it might be time to remember the things of Heaven: – pray to your Guardian Angel – what name are you working towards earning in Heaven? – read about what Christ said and what His followers said about Him in the Bible and pay no attention to the hearsay of evil entities
In this special Rewind edition, we journey back to the heavenly (and hellishly fun) world of Good Omens, the beloved adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's classic novel. At New York Comic Con 2019, the cast and creator gathered to celebrate the series' breakout success, reflect on its emotional resonance, and tease the cosmic possibilities ahead. This episode brings together the voices that helped shape the show's heart: Neil Gaiman, co-creator and showrunner Jon Hamm, the ineffably smug Archangel Gabriel Miranda Richardson, the deliciously wicked Madame Tracy David Tennant, the serpentine demon Crowley Michael Sheen, the ever-hopeful angel Aziraphale SAVE 17% ON PLUS
Paging Dr. Log, paging Dr. Log, we have some very sick individuals in this episode who need your help. They're growing all kinds of new facial hair and saying all sorts of stupid crap. They're even relapsing into talking about drinks again. They're getting so ill that they think they're becoming more philosophical, but we know that can't be true. Luke 17:14 (ESV) - “And when he saw them he said to them, ‘Go and show yourselves to the priests.' And as they went they were cleansed.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall teaches from the story of the ten lepers and highlights how healing often flows in response to obedience. As the lepers obeyed Jesus and went to show themselves to the priests, they were cleansed along the way, demonstrating that faith is shown through action and obedience to God's instructions. Pastor Sumrall also emphasizes the importance of validating miracles, explaining that Jesus Himself instructed the lepers to have their healing confirmed by the priests. In the same way, believers should not be afraid to have doctors confirm what God has done, because real miracles can be clearly seen and verified. Obedience releases God's power and validated miracles bring glory to God. ---- Don't forget to like, subscribe to Cathedral of Praise TV https://www.youtube.com/c/cathedralofpraiseTV/?sub_confirmation=1,and hit the bell icon

What kind of wisdom is shaping your life? In this message from Pastor John Lindell, we see from James 3:13–18 that true wisdom is shown by a life marked by humility, while earthly wisdom is driven by envy, selfish ambition, and disorder. Our prayer is that you would seek the wisdom that comes from heaven and live a life marked by purity, peace, mercy, and righteousness.

The Jesus Story: Wk. 14 (Heaven or Hell)
In part two of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, you know Democrats are out of ammo when they play the "God card". In a mostly soporific Tuesday House Homeland Committee hearing called amid the widespread public outcry over Customs and Border Protection agents' killing of Alex Pretti, Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) managed to set the whole room astir. She asked acting ICE Chief Todd Lyons whether he's religious, reacting with surprise when he responded that he is. “How do you think Judgment Day will work for you, with so much blood on your hands?” she asked. “I'm not gonna entertain that question, ma'am,” he responded, shaking his head. “Of course not,” McIver retorted, then: “Do you think you're going to hell, Mr. Lyons?” she asked, prompting an audible reaction in the room. Chairman Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) jumped in at that point, reminding McIver of hearing decorum rules. Our lives are made up of decades, years, minutes, and seconds, and there are 86,400 seconds in each day. Time is an immeasurably valuable commodity, a finite resource we can spend, invest, or waste just like money. We are all given a limited amount of time on earth to live, and then we die. In God's grace and mercy, He knows when that time is for each person. As the awareness of sin marches on, the seconds of our lives tick away. Every one of those seconds is a step on the road to eternity.Show notes:Quotes in this episode were from King David, Leonard Ravenhill, and Dave Hunt.Recommended reading: Why Revival Tarries by Leonard Ravenhill Whatever Happened to Heaven by Dave Hunt Link to The Berean Call, the ministry founded by Dave Hunt for more solid Bible teaching and resources.Text us for prayer, comments, or ministry questions.Connect with us at: concerningthetimes.com

Sermon - September 28, 2025

Father Greg's sermon “Heaven or Hell” examines the gates and chasms noted in Luke 16:31 that cause divisions in our lives, gates that aren't always easily categorized - whether rich or poor, black or white, gay or straight, Republican or Democratic, or any other category - the gates that become chasms exist in us before they exist between us. On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we confront the horrific attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. The shooter, Robert “Robin” Westman, once walked those same halls as a student. Years of unchecked mental illness and spiritual rebellion ended in bloodshed.America is in denial. We refuse to face the truth: the transgender movement is built on a Satanic lie. No one can change the sex God gave them. Pretending otherwise doesn't heal broken souls, it destroys them and puts others in danger.Christians must speak plainly. Love does not mean affirming sin or confusion. Love means pointing people back to Christ, who alone gives us our identity. Until our nation repents and turns back to God, tragedies like this will only increase.Pray for the victims and their families.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

On today's episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we're taking a hard look at Taylor Swift's new pornographic-themed album cover, The Life of a Showgirl. From the drinking and partying she parades as normal to her descent into porn culture, Swift has become a dangerous influence on young girls—and really, on everyone. We'll also address the cult-like following surrounding her, and why parents have a biblical responsibility to guard their children from this idolatry and from being exposed to Taylor Swift's sinful pornographic example. Darkness must be exposed, and the Word of God gives us the standard by which to measure it. We will also discuss how disgusting it is to excuse sin by simply labeling it “adult entertainment.” Unfriendly reminder: Civilization is currently collapsing. Let's actually do something about it?--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/

Arcana Coelestia 7490. It is also evident that insofar as a man is in the loves of self and of the world, so far he does not know what charity is, until at last he does not know that it exists; also that so far the man does not know what faith is, until at last he does not know that it is anything; and that so far the man does not know what conscience is, until at last he does not know that it exists; nay, that so far the man does not know what the spiritual is, nor what the life of heaven; and finally that he does not believe there is a heaven and a hell; consequently he does not believe that there is a life after death. These are the effects of the loves of self and of the world when they reign. Third Round posts are short audio clips taken from Round 3 comments offered in the online Logopraxis Life Group meetings. The aim is to keep the focus on understanding the Text in terms of its application to the inner life along with reinforcing any key LP principles that have been highlighted in the exchanges.
