"I am of Greek descent.  My grandmother instilled values and also taught me how to cook.  Her name was also Kanella." Kanella translates to Cinnamon in English.   “I want to be a part of the neighborhood.  A neighborhood cafe is where folks can enjoy the food in a fun atmosphere.” "There's also more to me than the cafe.  Once a month I help out All Faiths Receiving Home.  It is a children’s advocacy center for children whom are removed from their home for various reasons.  Counselors there treat the whole family unit.  I've set up ways for cafe patrons to donate if they wish."
