Dani Blanco repasa la historia de Romario en el Barcelona y en el Valencia
In this inspiring conversation with Corey Busch, we explore how Internal Family Systems (IFS) opens the door to deeper spiritual connection and relational healing. Together, we reflect on the gift of seeing our inner multiplicity and how this awareness naturally connects us to our family, our community, and even to the spiritual universe. Corey shares how meaningful Christian centering prayer was for him. This contemplative practice of silently resting in a sacred word became a lifeline for Corey during when he was struggling with physical pain and traditional mindfulness was not fully working. Through centering prayer, Corey discovered that he could “come home to Self” without asking parts to step aside. There was an abiding and always present love that Corey found within himself. Rather than going through all the formal steps of IFS, Corey found a way to simply relax, unblend, and return to the OK-ness of Self. This was not something that he used to replace IFS (he still loves this model) but rather, it was something to augment IFS. This shift revealed another way to unblend from parts. Rather than asking to see if they would relax back, or even witnessing them, Corey was able to just spend time appreciating the divine presence and unconditional love all around him. This is part one. Part two is a conversation with Corey about his “IFS Love Practice” which outlines his gentle and effortless way to reconnect with Self. Key Insights in this Episode: Multiplicity opens us to interconnectedness. Centering prayer as a doorway to Self. Self as abiding love, always here, beneath parts' striving. Effortless IFS: resting in Self without an agenda. Spontaneous healing through simple awareness. #InternalFamilySystems #IFS #SelfLeadership #CenteringPrayer #ChristianMysticism #SpiritualHealing #PartsWork #TraumaHealing #AbidingLove #ContemplativePractice #Mindfulness #SpiritualityAndTherapy #IFSCommunity #HealingJourney #SelfEnergy #CompassionateHealing #Wholeness #EffortlessIFS #EmotionalHealing #PodcastForHealing
We're living in a time of information abundance (sometimes information overload!) and lots of that information is about mental health, wellness, and relational health! But there's a difference between consuming content and integrating it. When we consume, the information might just pass through us. Whereas when we integrate, the information weaves its way into our unique story or situation. This creates insight and the potential for a shift in mindset, in emotion, in belief, and in behavior.Reflect and journal with Dr. Alexandra to integrate core lessons from the podcast, continuing with today's conversation from the archive. Originally released in September 2022, Dr. Alexandra and Dr. Thema Bryant discuss the importance of resting and of tapping into the things that make you feel truly alive. They also recognize that the ways the system impacts our sense of identity may hinder us from experiencing ease in rest or leisure. They invite us to incorporate these essential self-care acts into our lives little by little.Get out your favorite pen and journal to reflect on these perspectives:Many of your struggles are influenced by systemic issues and are not as personal as you might think. Acknowledging this makes a lot of the negative voices in our heads related to our worth less of a mystery - often, they did not come from us.Rest is a radical act of self-compassion and connection (and not selfish or lazy!), although many people find it very difficult to slow down for a variety of reasons, particularly those from historically excluded identities. While slowing down can feel overwhelming because it brings up avoided emotions, integrating this practice gradually, and slowly noticing the information our emotions provide us can allow us to tap into our truth.Journaling Prompts:How do the macro issues of the world shape your sense of yourself in this moment today? What do the voices in your head tell you about your worth? Did that voice come from you? How might you show up differently if you rejected what the voices told you when they told you negative things about your worth? What's your relationship with rest and stillness? Is there some discomfort there? What, perhaps, keeps you from feeling at ease while resting? What does it feel like in your body to be still, to do nothing, to not be productive? What does doing something just for the sake of doing it, not as a means to an end, but just to be in the moment - what does that feel like? What's coming up for you as we sit here together right now? What comes to mind when you are being invited to reconnect with some neglected parts of yourself? What are you doing when you feel the most alive? What's the setting? What's the context? What time of day is it? What are you up to? What are the constraints to entering that space that makes you feel most alive? What, perhaps, keeps you from feeling entitled to make space for that which makes you come alive? What is a pledge that you can make to yourself this week to carve out even the tiniest bit more space for rest, for stillness, for doing that which makes you feel alive? And if and when you carve out a little tiny bit more space, can you just notice and land and savor how you feel when you enter that space of rest and stillness?Resources worth mentioning from the episode:Reimagining Love episode, Coming Home to Ourselves: The Path to Thriving with Dr. Thema Bryanthttps://dralexandrasolomon.com/podcasts/coming-home-to-ourselves-learning-to-thrive-with-dr-thema-bryant/Homecoming: Overcome Fear and Trauma to Reclaim Your Whole, Authentic Self by Dr. Thema Bryant:https://bookshop.org/p/books/homecoming-healing-trauma-to-reclaim-your-authentic-self-thema-bryant/20204100?ean=9780593418321&next=tThe Homecoming Podcast:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-homecoming-podcast-with-dr-thema/id1471604689Dr. Thema's Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/dr.thema/Tricia Hershey's The Nap Ministry (Healing via the REST IS RESISTANCE framework):https://thenapministry.wordpress.com/about/Managing Back to School Stress on MasterClass: http://masterclass.com/backtoschoolCouple Therapy Certification Course from PESI: http://pesi.com/dralexandraContinue the conversation with Dr. Alexandra Solomon:Ask a question! This is a narrated version of my 'hunkering down' essay on a a calm presence. This essay is inspired by interviews with and writings by David Suzuki, Seth Klein, Joanna Macy and Thich Nhat Hanh. The episode also features excerpts from conscient podcast episodes é55 – un petit instant with France Trépanier, e177 - unknownness as a playground for artists with Asma Khan, e231 – what can we contribute? with Kelly Wilhelm, e239 roundtable – imagining in public e2 - artist perspectives on social impact with Jesse Hirsh and e235 – art from the soil with Lallan. My conclusion is that:‘I don't think humans will survive much longer as a species on earth and I worry about the suffering of current and future human and more-than-human communities.'And‘My own balance point between hope and despair lies in my belief that we are all living energy and that life in the cosmos will unfold as it should and the best course of action for someone like me is to be as calm a presence as I can while looking up at the stars in wonder and doing everything I can to reduce suffering and prepare for the future.'The narration was recorded on August 11, 2025 while drifting in a kayak on the Preston River in Duhamel, Québec. This is an uninterrupted recording except for 10 seconds of silence in between sections. Quoted texts have been slightly processed for clarity. See the Transcript tab for a complete transcription. As always, feel free to respond in the public comments section of any of my social media or privately to me : claude@conscient.ca.Thanks for listening. Below is there I list 15 resources that I narrate (also available in the written essay and in the episodie transcript): Climate Emergency Unit, led by Seth Klein, presses for the implementation of wartime-scale policies in Canada to confront the climate crisis. They produce the excellent Break In Case of Emergency podcast and campaigns such as the Youth Climate Corps. A good place to start is my conversation with their director of campaigns, Anjali Appadurai, e23 – what does a just transition look like? and my two conversations with Seith Klein : e26 – rallying through art and e77 seth klein – identifying a shared vision and a set of actionsCollapse 2050 by Sarah Connor (which is a pseudonym) explores the unspoken truth about humanity's frightening future. I've found her postings are grounded in fact and terrifying to read. I recommend it for those who want to deepen their understanding about how we got here and why we need to hunker down. In this vein, I also recommend Jessica Wildfire's The Sentinel-Intelligence which is more focused on survival tactics. I recommend her From Collapse Awareness to Collapse Acceptance posting. Both are from the US and have that point of view.Dark Optimism is a not-for-profit public interest research and activism structure featuring the writing of Shaun Chamberlin. I recommend subscribing to his newsletter and consider taking the Surviving the Future : The Deeper Dive course, which I took during the winter of 2025. For more on this see e218 roundtable - surviving the future where you can directly from participants including myself. This 3 month course is intended for those ‘seeking insights and allies to help themselves and their localities through profound change'. It's hard work but transformative and liberating. A similar deep dive course is Facing Human Wrongs, which I mention below.David Suzuki Foundation has a wealth of resources and regenerative projects. For example, I was deeply moved by the Rewilding exhibit at the Canadian Museum of Nature where thirteen Canadian artists bring the concept of rewilding to life, highlighting the vital role that nature plays in our communities through their compelling works of art. Two conscient podcast guests are part of the exhibit : sarah peebles in e230 – how can we reciprocate? and Kendra Fanconi in e36 – towards carbon positive work and e87 – on the artist brigade, ben okri, eco-restoration, eco-grief & reauthoring the world. I also recommend watching a conversation on Instagram between Suzuki and his daughter Sarika about hope and raising children.Ecologies in Practice: Environmentally Engaged Arts in Canada is a book co-edited by Amanda White and Elysia French that explores ‘the ways in which cultural production informs perceptions, communications, and knowledge of environmental distress in a Canadian context'. I was pleased to discover this group of research based ecological artists who were mostly new to me. Amanda and Elysia also produce the excellent Ecologies in Practice Podcast.Emergence Magazine is an ‘online publication with an annual print edition connecting the threads between ecology, culture, and spirituality' which are three of my favorite things. An email arrives every Sunday morning in my inbox that invites me to read, listen and do exercises. I recommend subscribing to their podcast and viewing their film series. How to Fall in Love with the Futureby Rob Hopkins, who I discovered this year, is a ‘deep dive into the people and movements throughout history who have used visions of the future to inspire positive change on a large and dramatic scale'. Rob is co-founder of Transition Network and of Transition Town Totnes. I recommend his From What If To What Next podcast series (2020-2024) and his Field Recordings from the Future.Green Dreamerwith Kamea Chayne encourages us to ‘be more imaginative in dreaming up our futures and reorienting ‘growth' towards what matters most to our well-being'. I've listened to hundreds of episodes of this podcast and am consistently engaged and inspired by these spirited conversations. Green Dreamer also produces the alchemize program which I have taken and recommend (see e161 alchemize circle - a conversation with kamea chayne). The indefatigable Kamea also produces uprooted : ‘metabolizing the mess and immensity of our socio-ecological-cultural crises via expansive interviews, critical essays and heart-centered reflections.'Gesturing Towards Decolonial Futures(GTDF) is an arts-research collective led by Vanessa Andreotti (author of Hospicing Modernity with a follow up book, Outgrowing Modernity: Navigating Complexity, Complicity, and Collapse with Accountability and Compassion which is out now). They operate as a workspace for collaborations around different kinds of artistic, pedagogical, cartographic, and relational experiments that aim to identify and de-activate colonial habits of being, and to gesture towards the possibility of decolonial futures. I took the first iteration of their Facing Human Wrongs course in 2022 which is an exploration of the ongoing systemic violence we perpetuate towards one another and the planet we are part. I produced a radio play about some of my learnings in e111 - what are the traps in your life?Ishmael is a 1992 philosophical novel by Daniel Quinn. The novel examines the hidden cultural biases driving modern civilization and explores themes of ethics, sustainability, and global catastrophe'. I was transfixed by this conversation between a gorilla and human about human supremacy and cultural myths. Ishmael is part of a trilogy that includes a 1996 spiritual sequel, The Story of B, and a 1997 ‘sidequel', My Ishmael, which are both on my reading radar.Life After Doom by Brian D. McLean explores the ‘catastrophic failure of both our religious and political leaders to address the dominant realities of our time: ecological overshoot, economic injustice, and the increasing likelihood of civilizational collapse'. McLean is a pastor who tackles the complexities of religion and spirituality with finesse and equanimity. His book helped me work through some of my current anxiety and grief. I wrote about his book in a sense of communion. I recommend the audio book version read by the author. In this vein about grief I also recommend Jennifer Atkinson's Facing It, a podcast series about love, loss, and the natural world.otherWise is a ‘cosmolocal learning community of wisdom-seekers and re-villagers - small, place-rooted gatherings - deep, slow virtual inquiry - shared rituals - commons-sense'. This initiative comes out of EcoGather, which now exists as a freely accessible digital archive of courses and a community learning network. otherWise is a good place to explore what ‘hunker down' culture might look like through their otherWisdom Circles and otherGardens programs.Reseed is a podcast hosted by Alice Irene Whittaker about ‘repairing our relationship with nature featuring thoughtful conversations about our collective journey from takers to caretakers'. I love their regenerative and grounded stories. Alice Irene is also author of Homing: A Quest to Care for Myself and the Earthwhich you learn more about in e196 - homing, a book review) and e187 - caring for the planet I love. The Great Simplification with Nate Hagens is about ‘navigating uncertainty through understanding and building a resilient future together'. This is my ‘go to' podcast for unfiltered and credible scientific knowledge but also Nate's philosophical and spiritual insights. In particular, I enjoy Hagen's Frankly series of personal opinions that often mirror my own vulnerabilities and musings. Their web site is a great resource, notably The Great Simplification Movie. Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet by Thich Nhat Hanh and collaborators is a ‘vital approach to combating climate change and creating a better world for us and our future generations'. I recommend this book for those interested in engaged buddhism and environmental spiritual practices. An online course is offered by Plum Village. In this vein, also see e29 loy – the bodhisattva path.Note: New content comes my way every day that inspires and motivates me, for example, Kamea Chayne's All eyes on Gaza, all ears everywhere else, too, and all hands in the dirt!! in Uprooted and Robertson Work's Coming Home to the Present Moment in Compassionate Conversations. *END NOTES FOR ALL EPISODESHey conscient listeners, I've been producing the conscient podcast as a learning and unlearning journey since May 2020 on un-ceded Anishinaabe Algonquin territory (Ottawa). Did you think Tantra was just about ecstatic sex and ritual like I did? It's actually an ancient wisdom tradition of self-awareness, embodiment, and liberation — and in this episode of HEAL with Kelly, I sit down with seventh-generation Tantra teacher, author of Break the Norms, and host of The Leela Show, Chandresh Bhardwaj, to explore the deeper truth of this sacred technology. CB is one of my favorite creators/teachers/poets on Instagram, and I just had to have him on the pod to learn more about his history and wisdom. Together, we unravel the myth of “linear healing” and look at why true transformation isn't about fixing yourself but remembering your innate wholeness. As part of that wholeness, we break down the rooted masculine and the wild feminine and why embodiment — not just mantra — creates lasting change. Chandresh beautifully articulates breaking free from fear-based teachings, trusting the unknown, and letting go of cultural and social scripts so you can live from your authentic self. We also break down the raw, unfiltered truth about Tantra's goddesses and their power and gifts. This is not just a conversation about sex as a portal for awakening (in fact, we barely touch on it!), but rather a conversation about love as liberation, embracing your enoughness, and daring to play in life's unfolding with curiosity, courage, and heart. Healing doesn't always look like progress: Removing alcohol, sitting in stillness, and feeling emotions fully brought up grief, but it also unlocked clarity, creativity, and real self-trust. Plant medicine isn't a cure, it's a mirror: Tori's Ayahuasca journey revealed the pain she hadn't processed, but also the power of perspective, compassion, and choosing a new story for her life. So here's a little bit of happy news for anyone still feeling injustice over the petty way that Trevor Mallard turned the sprinklers on the Parliamentary protesters and made everything worse - he is coming home from his plum job in Ireland as the ambassador. As Winston Peters says, quoting The Seekers - the carnival's over. And it's a good job too, because it was always deeply unfair that Mallard could behave like a child and basically torment fellow Kiwis, and then be rewarded by his mates with a job that was funded by Kiwis. Now Winston's trying to spin this like he's bringing Trevor Mallard home early. He's actually not really at all. Trevor's due home in January. It's understood that he's gonna be back in November. Whoop dee doo- two months early in a three-year term is hardly a punishment or a massive recall, isn't it? I mean, if Winston wanted to bring him home early, he could have brought him home at any point in the last two years that he's been the Foreign Minister. But I will agree with Winston on something here, which is that I think we have got to stop appointing politicians to diplomatic jobs. He says full stop - I say as a reward. I still think that there will be some politicians who are exceptional and who deserve these jobs because they would do an excellent job representing us. And I've always thought it was a pity that Helen Clark never got a posting overseas. But often, they're just lousy at it, aren't they? I mean, Phil Goff stuffed up. He had to come back. Jonathan Hunt embarrassed us by wanting to claim the pension in the UK when he was already on a very good wicket from us. Kevin Rudd - the Australian version of all of this - got sent to Washington by the Aussies and then embarrassed them by posting weird stuff about Trump before Trump became President again, then having to go back through his social medias and delete it all. Being a politician doesn't necessarily make these people good diplomats, and Trevor Mallard is absolutely an example of that. He has never been accused of being diplomatic. In my opinion, the only reason that he ever got this gig in Ireland is because his daughter lives in Ireland, and because he was some sort of an avuncular figure to Grant and Jacinda and Chippy, who were in Government when he was appointed. That is not a good reason to send someone to an Ambassador's job. It's not a good reason to get a job that you and I are paying for. So as Winston says, carnival's over - good thing too. Why does healing feel so complex—especially for highly sensitive people? In this deep and compassionate conversation, integration therapist and trauma guide Julian Bermudez joins Daphnie to explore the intersection of sensitivity, attachment wounds, and somatic healing. Together, they unpack what trauma really is (and isn't), why HSPs often carry emotional burdens they were never meant to hold, and how to begin reconnecting with the self beneath survival patterns. If you've ever been told you're “too sensitive” or wondered why you feel so deeply, this episode offers validation, clarity, and hope. Julian brings a grounded, intuitive perspective, and the belief that healing is a return to your wholeness—not a fixing project. We explore:The link between sensitivity and early traumaWhy many HSPs adapted by becoming emotionally hyper-attunedThe path from survival patterns to self-trust and inner connectionWhether you're on a healing journey, integrating a psychedelic experience, or simply seeking deeper understanding, this episode will help you remember: your sensitivity is not the wound—it's the lens. And you were never meant to heal alone.

Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this episode of The Wright Report, we cover explosive new evidence of an Obama-era conspiracy against Donald Trump, major shifts in U.S. manufacturing and agriculture, high-stakes diplomacy before the Trump–Putin meeting, the collapse of Ukraine's front lines, and a mysterious American drone mission deep into Mexico. Newly Declassified Email Exposes Obama-Era Conspiracy: A Top Secret 2016 email from NSA Director Mike Rogers to James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey reveals deep concerns over Obama's rushed Intelligence Community Assessment on alleged Trump–Russia collusion. The correspondence confirms intelligence officials were pressured to rubber-stamp a politically driven report that included the discredited Steele Dossier. Bryan details why this is foundational evidence of a seditious conspiracy. GE Appliances Moves Production Back to the U.S.: Trump's tariff strategy prompts GE Appliances, formerly owned by a Chinese company, to relocate manufacturing of ranges and refrigerators from Mexico and China to plants in Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, and South Carolina, creating 1,000 new jobs. U.S. Farm and Ranch Report: Bred heifer prices hit record highs as cattle herd sizes remain at 1950s lows, keeping beef prices elevated. Favorable rains and cheaper feed are encouraging herd rebuilding, while the dangerous New World screwworm threatens to cross the border from Mexico. Crop conditions are generally good, but trade restrictions tied to tariffs are shifting agricultural export strategies. Mexico Sends 26 Cartel Members to U.S. Custody: President Claudia Sheinbaum transfers dangerous cartel figures to the United States, defying Mexico's constitution under technical loopholes. The move follows White House pressure to prevent cartel leaders from escaping Mexican prisons and resuming drug and human trafficking operations. Trump and European Allies Set Ukraine Negotiation Red Lines: Ahead of tomorrow's Alaska meeting with Vladimir Putin, Trump and European leaders agree on five conditions for peace talks, including a cease-fire, starting territorial discussions from current front lines, and securing binding Western security guarantees. European leaders will not attend the Alaska talks, leaving the White House to own the negotiations and their outcome. Ukraine's Front Lines Near Collapse: Russian forces, bolstered by North Korean mercenaries, gain six miles in the Donetsk region through relentless “meat wave” assaults. Ukrainian soldiers are frustrated with leadership, and public support for the war has collapsed, with 69 percent now favoring a negotiated settlement. Bryan warns that without fresh troops or a change in strategy, Ukraine risks losing the entire country. U.S. Drone Conducts Deep Strike Recon in Mexico: An American MQ-9 Reaper drone flew 600 miles into cartel-controlled territory in Michoacán before shutting off its transponders. The mission likely signals upcoming U.S. military action against cartels, with or without Mexican government cooperation, as Trump accelerates his campaign against foreign and domestic enemies. "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32 Keywords: Obama-era Trump-Russia conspiracy, declassified Mike Rogers email, GE Appliances reshoring, U.S. cattle herd prices, New World screwworm threat, Mexico extradites cartel members, Trump Putin Alaska meeting, Ukraine front lines collapse, Donetsk Russian advance, U.S. drone Mexico cartel mission

3I/Atlas is the lead ship in a small fleet led by US Navy “Jedi” Admirals who have taken over the disclosure process on Earth according to George Kavassilas, an extraterrestrial contactee and secret space program insider. He says that the admirals are asserting their authority over the Earth Alliance and Galactic Federation of Worlds in taking charge of the disclosure process which will begin with astronomers and scientists overwhelmingly accepting the artificial nature of 3I/Atlas.Kavassilas says that by 2027, 3I/Atlas will complete its return trajectory through our solar system which involves it rendezvousing with all major planets to communicate with the civilizations living there. This will enable 3I/Atlas to change the frequency of our solar system thereby facilitating the transition to a higher density.Significantly, Kavassilas says that the Galactic Federation was infiltrated by extraterrestrial mimics but was recently cleaned up, due to the intervention of the Jedi admirals. He also corroborated information from Dr. Andrea Martin, Michele Porto Freire, and Erica Amoreena discussing the Galactic Envoy Program, and how the Deep State has been abducting and traumatizing Envoys since their early childhood.Kavassilas explains how synthetic Nordics have been trying to take control of the space arks and this has caused problems due to their superiority complex and being members of the Galactic Federation. He discusses how learning to distinguish between organic and synthetic Nordics will be an important exercise in discernment for all humans destined to interact with them. Finally, Kavassilas reveals his participation in secret official meetings in the Washington DC area discussing future disclosure initiatives, which will culminate in President Trump becoming the preeminent world leader in open contact after he and Pope Leo XIV officially welcome human-looking aliens to Earth in 2027.George Kavassilas website is https://www.ourjourneyhome.earth/Join Dr. Salla on Patreon for Early Releases, Webinar Perks and More.Visit https://Patreon.com/MichaelSalla/

Let's go deeper—into the body, into the Earth, and into the parts of ourselves we've been conditioned to ignore. In this episode of Operation Be, I sit down with the powerful and wildly grounded Jessi Marino, embodiment teacher, ritualist, vocalist, and founder of Wild Essence—a mystery school devoted to sacred living and embodied magick. With nearly two decades of experience guiding people into deeper relationships with their body and the unseen, Jessi brings a rich perspective on what it truly means to come home to yourself. We dive into embodiment—not just as a concept, but as a way of being. We talk about how ancestral trauma can live in the body, how rituals and seasonal rhythms can anchor us in healing, and how the shift from constantly doing to simply being is where real transformation begins. Jessi shares stories from her own path, along with practical tools for grounding, presence, and honoring your emotions—especially in a world that constantly tries to pull you away from yourself. This conversation is deep, raw, and reverent…a beautiful reminder that your body is not the problem—it's the portal. ✨Tune in now. Send Us Your Questions & Feedback! From "Crazy Train" to Calm Sanctuary: What Ozzy Osbourne Taught Me About Windows & LifeThis ain't your usual window treatment podcast, folks. But then again, I'm not your usual window guy. This week, we're doing a deep dive into something unexpected: the passing of a legend, Ozzy Osbourne. His music—the soundtrack to my youth—revealed some profound truths about the spaces we create and the lives we live.Join me, Roger, as we peel back the layers (pun intended) on how rock anthems relate to the smooth power of motorized shades, and how a "Shot in the Dark" isn't just a haunting melody, but a reminder of the sanctuary blackout shades can create. In this episode, we'll explore:The "Crazy Train" of Transformation: How smart home automation brings instant change to your space, just like a classic riff electrifies a stadium.Finding Sanctuary in the "Shot in the Dark": The unexpected peace and protection that comes from truly dark, personal spaces. How to "Bark at the Moon" with Your Decor: Embracing bold, unapologetic design choices that make your home scream you.The Feeling of "Mama, I'm Coming Home": Crafting spaces that truly feel like a sanctuary, a place where you can finally drop your guard. The Drama of "Mr. Crowley": Layered treatments that bring theatrical elegance and refined rebellion to your windows."No More Tears": How good design can be therapy, helping us reclaim our space, release what holds us back, and find healing. It's about more than just fabric and function. It's about identity, memory, and giving your home—and your life—its own unapologetic volume. Because if Ozzy taught me anything, it's that sometimes the most profound lessons come from the loudest places. This isn't just about music or windows. It's about showing up. Living loud. And transforming your space, one powerful decision at a time.Inspiring Blog - https://www.shadesinplace.com/ozzy-osbourne-shades-home-memories/
The Hsin Hsin Ming (Shinjinmei in Japanese) is a verse attributed to the Third Zen Patrriarch. Written in the 6th century, it is considered the first clear and comprehensive statement of Zen. The Hsin Hsin Ming has been much beloved by Zen practitioners for over a thousand years and is still studied today in Western Zen circles. The Hsin Hsin Ming emphasizes that the Great Way is not involved in the game of opposites, and that in order to understand the truth, we have to become aware of our choosing, discriminating mindsTranslation: An amalagam of various classic translationsMusic: Swami Madhuram - 'Coming Home'With deep thanks to Swami for permission to use his beautiful music for this channelPlease find his music here: https://timeforpeace.bandcamp.com/
In Episode 137: “Your Body Remembers How to Come Home,” we interviewed Rubina Chadha, founder of Inner Design. In this conversation, she shares how Yoga became an anchor during seasons of transformation, teaching her how to come home to herself—not just during the sacred hour on the mat, but in all 23 hours beyond. She reflects on how the body holds both memory and wisdom, so no matter how far we travel, the body can guide us back home .Rubina brings forward a simple yet profound truth: the body is a repository of memory and belonging. This meditation is centered on returning to your true self through the body's intelligence. So take some time for you to reconnect—to release what doesn't serve you, and rediscover the deep sense of “home” lodged in your own being.Send us a textWanna be on the show? BRING IRISH & CELTIC MUSIC TO THE WORLD FOR 20 YEARS On July 28, 2005, I released the very first episode of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. This was not my first podcast. There were four others that I released first. All of them are still available to this day. Though one podfaded. When I started, I was publishing the Celtic Music Magazine every week. I started podcasting to promote Celtic bands, but mostly I wanted to promote my own band, Brobdingnagian Bards. It was a new and exciting way to get my music heard. But something happened along the way. It became less and less about my band and more about how I could help bands be heard. And it worked. In fact, I featured a total of 79 Celtic bands in the months that followed in 2005. That includes Brobdingnagian Bards and my Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers project. Here are some of the bands who were featured. 1: Susan Hamlin, Three Quarter Ale, Dust Rhinos, Cluan, Fathom, The BorderCollies, Tara's Fire, Paul McKenna, Marc Gunn & The Dubliners' Tabby Cats, Brobdingnagian Bards 2: StoneRing, The Slip, Hugh Morrison, Caladh, MacTalla Mor, Lenahan, The Bloody Irish Boys, Vicki Swan & Jonny Dyer, Celtic Stone 3: The Barley Boys, Contea, Queen's Gambit, Highland Fling, Michael Murphy and the River Shannon Band, Amadan, Raymond McCullough, Bow Triplets, The Rogues 4: The Irish Experience, Cairde na Gael, The Black Irish, Avalon Rising, Heather Gilmer and Jeff Moore, Sarah Dinan, Bedlam Bards, Emerald Rose, Kristen Roger, Heather Dale, Serious Kitchen, Empty Hats 5: Rise, Ed Miller, Tullamore, Paisley Close, Cantiga, Thomas "Doc" Grauzer, Cady Finlayson, Rimbo, Don Grieve, Black 47 6: Moch Pryderi, Enter the Haggis, The Patched Hats, Seelie Court, Eric Benson with The Boatrights, Ali Benson, 3 Pints Gone, Sligo Rags, Angel's Share 7: The Tea Merchants, Keltic Kaleidoscope, Brothers 3, EJ Jones, Shays Rebellion, Marc Gunn 8: Niamh Parsons, Flook, Willie McCulloch, Gan Fidil, Pol Mac Adaim, The Elders 9: Tears for Beers, Clandestine, Stonering, Athas, Carl Peterson You can see the full list on the website. Many of these artists are no longer performing. What's more interesting is that about a quarter of these artists are still making new music to this day. Today, I will highlight some of the amazing Celtic bands that are still performing after 15 - 20 years. I started my list with three perennial favorites of mine who've been on the show for a long time and are still performing: Poitin, Ed Miller, and The Gothard Sisters. Admittedly, The Gothard Sisters were a late addition to the show, coming on in 2010. But of all the bands, they are to me a shining beacon of this podcast. Because you can see them grow and develop as musicians and songwriters over the course of this show. So I had to include them. THANK YOU PATRONS OF THE PODCAST!
