Tell the Israelites to start moving. 16 Raise your staff, stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide the water. Then the Israelites will go through the sea on dry ground. 17 I am making the Egyptians so stubborn that they will follow the Israelites. When the Lord of the universe promises us anything, have no fears or doubt; He always comes through, often in remarkable ways. Trust what He says to you.
A spirit of generosity flowed in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. What is God's plan to develop giving as a form of worship?
God wants you to enjoy giving to Him. How does this happen?
In our lives we put our trust in many people and things. Over time we realize that things will fail, and people are not perfect. Today as we start this series talking about Taking God at His Word, we need to realize that He is the source of our things. We need to realize that everything that we have belongs to God and He has entrusted us with what belongs to Him. Our trust and dependence on Him will lead to great rewards in our lives, but we must honor Him, and trust that He is the source of resources and He will provide for every need we have.
