Shan Ayers a member of the AirPlay family will be reading the part of Stuart. 65-70 year old strong family man and hard worker who is struggling since his wife has been in a coma.

Expression and a Soul, by Brenda K. White. "Expression and a Soul," August 1889. Van Gogh and Gauguin reflect on their turbulent but triumphant nine weeks at the Yellow House in Arles the previous year, which culminated in Van Gogh's near death and Gauguin's fleeing Arles. Now in separate cities, they reflect on their time together, their art, their artistic styles and influences, and their relationships.Shan R. Ayers, playing Vincent Van Gogh, is a professor of theatre at Berea College in Kentucky. Previous acting experience includes perfromances as Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman", Lenny Small in "Of Mice and Men", and Henry Higgins in "Pygmalion." Two of his short monologues, "Privy" and "Cornelia Street" were featured on a previous "In the Crib."Tony Crachiolo, playing Paul Gauguin, has originated many roles in new plays, including Trish Ayers' one-man play, "Ironing Lessons." He was last seen in Spotlight Theater's production of "It's a Wonderful Life Radio Play" as Freddy Filmore. Other roles include the Mad Hatter, Big Daddy, Oscar Wilde and Dr. Scott in "The Rocky Horror Show." He also hosts an annual Christmas program on WBER radio.

Description: Mama is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's and lives in an alternative universe. This production of "A Home Like No Place" is Directed by Professor Shan Ayers.Cast and Bios: Sala Dia (Trudy) Sala is a senior Theatre major from Elsmere, KY by way of Columbia, SC. Acting credits with the Berea College Theatre Laboratory include Medea (Chorus), The GreatAmerican Trailer Park Musical (Linoleum “Lin”), Jesus Christ Superstar (James), Crowns (Ensemble), and The Last Musketeer (Ensemble).Trinisha Dupree (Maxine”) Trinisha is a senior Music major, Theatre minor from Las Vegas, Nevada. She has been seen onstage in the BCTL productions of Crowns (Yolanda), Jesus Christ Superstar (Soul Sister), and Galileo (Ensemble). She has also served as a Sound Technician for Trestle at Pope Lick Creek, Almost Maine, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Medea.Jacob Appelman (Nurse) Jacob is a senior Theatre major, Film minor from Jerome, Arizona. Previous acting credits include Christopher Clavius and Ensemble in the BCTL production of Galileo, and various roles in The Last Musketeer and Other Stories, also with BCTLKanzas Godbey Hicks (Stage Manager) Kanzas is a senior theatre major from Richlands, Virginia. Previous Stage Management credits include Medea, Galileo, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Count Dracula all with the Berea College Theatre Laboratory. She also Stage Managed for the student production of The Last Act, as well as the recent 24 Hour Theatre Project.
