While Dean and Kelvin were being incarcerated for marijuana in Virginia, it became legal in other states. Now, the Commonwealth is poised to legalize it. Will they get it right? Or will Black people still struggle for freedom and justice as they did before?
The lucky children in Mrs. Hassenger’s 4th grade class at Brown Elementary in St. Joseph, Michigan, have no idea what a superstar entrepreneur their teacher is. Sarah Hassenger launched her home-based business, Four Black Paws, in 2010, working after school and on weekends to hand-sew the doggie bow ties and related accessories. Since host and award-winning journalist Dean Rotbart first spoke with Sarah in April 2016, her line has expanded dramatically to include an organic collection; dog treats, toys and shampoo; and even t-shirts, hats, headbands, and scrunchies for her loyal two-legged followers. Sarah Hassenger continues to demonstrate that solopreneurs can succeed even in a dog-eat-dog world. While Dean is on book leave, we hope you’ll enjoy this Best of Monday Morning Radio re-airing. The boys are on vacation in Lala land. While Dean gets caught in the act with a famous Hollywood star, Sam spends his time sitting around watching DVD's.
While Dean focuses on his stand-up career, he and Jo can't stop slow pitching sexual innuendo at each other. For the most part, Sam sits this episode out.
Happy New Year. We kick off 2020 with a look back at a 1975 crime drama called Mr. Ricco. The gritty 70s cop flick was in fashion for many leading men. This one stars the legendary Dean Martin in what would be in last starring role. While Dean would appear on screen again it would only be in smaller supporting roles.
With both Scott Reynolds and Trevor Sikkema suspended from the show, the rest of the group is joined by Greg Auman of The Athletic for this podcast. The Bucs overtime loss in Seattle was their fourth straight of the season and the biggest issue on Sunday was injuries and the secondary. Carlton Davis got hurt in warmups, which caused Jamel Dean to play the entire game. While Dean made some plays, he got burned as well, and we discussed the play of Dean along with the rest of the rookies, as six rookies were playing on defense at one point. Is the only way to improve these rookies by experience and I game reps? And do the Bucs need to pay for a veteran corner next year or are they just going to spin the wheel again for a rookie corner and go through the same situation? All of these topics are brought up. Looking at the positive, Jameis Winston played a game that every person following the Bucs would have wanted. The jury is still out for whether he'll receive a second contract with another eight games to go. It was another monster to game for Mike Evans as well, and Auman provided some stats to show have good of a run he's been on in the last two games. Between Evans and Godwin two great receivers, but it hasn't translated to wins, so what's next to change that? Stay tuned for another fun episode.

While Dean might be hot, THE BOOKS ARE HOTTER!
While Dean spends the weekend with his family in Dallas, something clicked and he sits there with amazement on how simple it could've been if he only knew this sooner... Is there anything in your life that consciously or even subconsciously fights your success and possibly strangled past opportunities? Maybe parents, upbringing, money, time, health or a slew of real life things? Whatever it is, this week Dean films a video that could change all of that. It's so simple, yet so empowering he had to share it with you ASAP. If you truly want to be able to tap into today's emerging real estate market then you have to set yourself up for success and this video could be a cornerstone just for that...

We will be discussing Supernatural's episode, 'Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie,' with the director, Michael Rohl. Sam (Jared Padalecki) is forced to confront a childhood fear when a case takes him and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to Kansas to investigate Plucky Pennywhistle’s Magical Menagerie, a local pizza chain that hosts children’s birthday parties. Sam and Dean discover that the victims’ children had recently been to the restaurant and drawn a picture of their worst fear, which then came to life to kill their parent. While Dean confronts the man behind the magic, Sam is left to deal with some very angry clowns. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin.
