THE LEWDRESKY REAL | NO VOICE NO REASON | NEW YORK CITY | LONDON | UK

On March 27, 2020, Congress passed and President Donald Trump signed into law the bipartisan Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, designed to stabilize and stimulate the American economy as it reeled from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, help every family better preserve its finances and health. Among the provisions of the CARES ACT is authorization for 80 million Americans to receive from the government a direct stimulus payment starting the week of April 13. The Economic Impact Payments (EIP) amounted to $1,200 for individual adults, $2,400 for married couples who file taxes jointly, and an additional $500 for each dependent child under the age of 17. Who qualifies for an EIP? U.S. citizens and resident aliens who filed their taxes in 2018 or 2019, have a work-eligible Social Security number, cannot be claimed as a dependent on someone else's tax return, and have a gross adjusted income of $75,000 ($112,500 for heads of households and $150,000 for married couples who file taxes jointly) should receive their EIP automatically. For every $100 over that amount, the EIP is reduced by $5. Anyone making over $99,000 ($136,500 for heads of households and $198,000 for joint filers) is ineligible for the EIP. (If in 2020 your income falls below the eligible threshold, you will be able to claim it as a credit on your 2020 tax return.) Others who automatically qualify for the EIP are people who received Social Security Retirement payments in 2019, disability (SSDI) or survivor payments in 2019, Railroad Retiree benefits in 2019, or other forms of veterans' retirement, disability, or survivor benefits. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/thereallewdresky/message

CONVENE ‘What's Your Work Worth’ dealt with questions we all face around the value of our work. Whether you are running a team, creating a product or providing your talent, the question of the worth of your work is one of the most difficult we face. How much do you charge for what you offer, what you do and what you make? How do you know when unpaid/underpaid work is actually an opportunity or when it is just being taking advantage of?
To answer these questions and more, this conversation featured Rollie Pemberton aka Cadence Weapon and producer and manager Iva Golubovic, along with Rahul Madan and Eric Richards of WIL Studios. This conversation took place at Free Space in Toronto in partnership with The Creator Class.

The 2018 NFL Draft is mere hours away and the options at the betting window are plentiful, so today on the show Andrew and Jonny are breaking down all the best value picks on the board. The Cleveland Browns hold two of the top five picks so the guys took some time to break down why Sam Darnold is the betting favorite to go number one and whether or not the Browns take someone else in that spot (4:35). Jonny and Andrew also take a look at the betting faves at 2 through 4 and assess the needs of the New York Giants (12:46), New York Jets (15:16) and what the Cleveland Browns do with their second pick in the four spot (17:45). There's also a slew of props on the board to consider and the guys take a look at both the odds around which positions will be drafted first (27:55) and the how many of each of those positions will drafted per round (36:28). Also, the guys talk about some draft positions for some big names, including Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield and Derrius Guice."

As we blow out the candles celebrating our 3rd year, we want to take this time to thank everyone who has come back week after week and taken this journey with us.  We are very grateful to your devotion and look forward to continuing our adventures together. This week began with Fucking Men just as every episode should.  Wendy claims she didn't look at any naughty bits but we all know the truth.  She also shared her new mantra and how she is trying to find a balance between moist and dry.  Joey completed work on the film "Give and Take" and is to direct Les Miserables in the fall.  However, after taking a Creamie call he may begin to workshop a new women's rights musical, "RvW".  A very special NYC "meet and greet" has been announced and the News should offend everyone, especially Asians. The #1 Creamie contest is heating up.  Be sure to show support for your candidate and help them take the crown.  Oh yes, there will be a crown. www.cocktailsandcreampuffs.com
