Maintaining · Walk not as fools, but as those who are wise; · Take advantage of every moment · Understand the will of the Lord and walk in it [All of these are in Ephesians 5:15-17] · Be filled with the Holy Spirit [already discussed] · Grieving the Spirit through sin (Ephesians 4:30 through 32) · Quenching the Spirit through disobedience [refusing to obey] (1 Thess. 5:19) · No sinless perfection, so confession of sin is vital (1 John 1:9) · Growing and maturing in Christ (1Thesalonians 4:1-8).
