What do I really believe? Where do I put my faith? These was the question that really got my mind turning in my early twenties... I had no clue what I believed or had faith in... I was so hurt by the church, my family and women, I didnt want to explore the idea of their being a God... it all seemed to painful In this episode, you will hear my testimony about before Christ, the ways God revealed Himself to me and how my life has changed since knowing Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. This talk was done on Nov 11th in Vsetin, Czechia and was hosted by Majak Church. The room was a mixture of Christians and Atheists with a common interest in the english language Here are some of the stories I touch on in my talk: Before Christ Good things about my childhood Hard times with trauma/church What I learned and it's consequences Addiction, idols and sin (knowing some thing was wrong but not knowing what to do other than work harder) Hostility toward Jesus How God revealed Himself to me Hope in seeing new Christians Exploring faith and church hopping Jesus met me - Thyatira story Apologetics, heart conviction, mind shifting Deciding to trust in Jesus — The gospel, the evidence, the experience, the conviction How Christ has Transformed me Meeting and marrying Helena Revealing and healing my addiction to porn Secret Habit/Ministry Moving to Nova Scotia Becoming a father Convicted to move to Czech Being in Czech and seeing God moving PS: SO SORRY, the sound quality is not great... but its definitely not bad :)

We live in a world that loves Jesus as a teacher but doesn't care for Him much as God. The truth is that we can't have one without the other. Jesus didn't come as simply a wise man, but as both fully God and fully man. How we react to this truth will affect how seriously we take our Christian faith. To accept Christ is to go all in, offering Him our entire lives. We want to invite you to […] The post Come and See Jesus as God's Son appeared first on Cornerstone Community Church.

This message tells the story of the angel's encounter with Joseph, the husband of Mary, and leads us to marvel at the faithfulness of God to come for us himself and dwell among us as a perfect sinless baby.
During Week 3 we saw several examples where Deity/Divinity is implicitly applied to Jesus. This week we unpack several instances where the biblical writers set aside all restraint and explicitly refer to Jesus as “God.”
Welcome to A Soulful Rebellion! I am your host, Anekia Nicole. I am a spiritual life and mindset coach, here to guide those of you who are new to the spiritual awakening journey to find clarity and inner peace. So in this episode, I discuss, where did the idea of Jesus as God come from? And how you can reframe your thinking around what many refer to as Christ? Many people, religions, and world views have respect for Jesus as a great teacher. However, very few believe the claim that Jesus is God. It is this very claim that makes Christianity so different from the rest of the world. To believe that Jesus is truly God is the very core of Christianity and the key to salvation. Join us as we dig into the evidence of how Jesus is God.

What makes Christianity different from any other religion is that God actually entered our world and became human. “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son [Jesus] from the Father” (John 1:14). If this is true, isn't it worth breaking from the busyness of your life to listen to what he has to say, to learn from what he did? Don't you want to lean into the One who understands what it's like to be human? BIG IDEA: Jesus as God means God is with us and for us!

There are some who have excepted the existence of God, but still reject the idea of Jesus' divinity. They simply can't, or won't accept Jesus as God. Why not?Jesus Himself makes the claim that He is THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life; and that NO ONE comes to the Father accept through Him. (Jn. 14:6) That's a fairly exclusive statement! That's a shocking statement when we consider the implications! But what is perhaps even more shocking is that billions of people over the past 2000 years, and currently 1/3 of the global population believe His statement as fact, and believe that Jesus is God.#TheProblemofJesus, #Challenges, #Christianity, #Jesus, #Christ, #TheWay, #TheTruth, #TheLife, #way, #truth, #life, #god, #divinity, #deity, #sermon, #message, #bibleSupport the show (https://mountainviewwhitehorse.ca/give)
In this episode, we explore whether the author of the Book of Hebrews teaches Wisdom Christology in the opening three verses. We give an honest listen to what other scholars are saying about this possibility, we interact with modern objections, we look at the evidence for allusions to personified wisdom, and discuss the possibility of typology as the probable relationship between wisdom and Jesus.
