In this week's sermon, we discuss how we can respond to the birth and coming of Christ even after Christmas. We do this by looking at Mary and Joseph, Simeon, and Anna in the temple shortly after Jesus' birth. Our hope is to remain faithful followers of Christ year round and have that excitement of Christmas regardless of what the calendar says. We're glad that you made it to this sermon! We're also available on Youtube. For more information on our worship services or church as a whole, visit fbcwest.com.

SUPPORT OUR END OF YEAR APPEAL! On this show, we hear from residents of DC, speaking out about the impact of increased policing by federal agents, including ICE officers, since August 2025. Those presented here were among the 130 people who testified for nearly 12 hours on December 4th 2025 before the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee of the DC Council. The Trump administration ordered this multi-million dollar surge in policing and deployment of the National Guard, despite the district’s 30-year low crime rate. That surge officially ended in September, but there are still more federal police openly collaborating with local police, leading to shootings and other violent encounters in DC neighborhoods. The show is made possible only by our volunteer energy, our resolve to keep the people's voices on the air, and by support from our listeners. In this new era of fake corporate news, we have to be and support our own media! Please click here or click on the Support-Donate tab on this website to subscribe for as little as $3 a month. What has Jesus Christ changed in your life this year? ✨ As we close out the year on Go & Do, Candis Shupe invites you to pause, reflect, and do the most important thing we can ever do testify of Jesus Christ. This episode centers on The Living Christ, the powerful declaration issued by modern prophets and apostles, and why their witness matters just as much today as it did 25 years ago.In this episode, you'll learn: ✝️ Why The Living Christ matters now and how internalizing its message can change the way you think, repent, and live
In this Advent sermon from John 18:33–38, Jesus declares the purpose of his birth: to bear witness to it. Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promises and the truth that stands over every moment of our lives.
Isaac Schafer shares in our series, Acts. He unpacks Acts 4:32-37 and shows how a Biblical worldview cannot align with socialism or communism, and that the testimony of the resurrection is the only way to fully surrender everything you have.
The investigation into the death of thirteen-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez has reached a critical turning point. A Los Angeles County grand jury is now in its third week of testimony, and the people closest to singer D4VD are beginning to fracture under pressure. Robert Morgenroth, general manager of D4VD's record label and president of his touring company, spent three consecutive days being questioned by Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman. Three days for a non-target witness is extraordinary. According to reports, Morgenroth was overheard in the courthouse hallway telling his attorney that Silverman was aggressive about one question in particular: why did he never contact police after learning a decomposing body had been discovered in his client's Tesla? His reported answer was that he wanted to continue with the tour. Meanwhile, a second witness connected to the case allegedly refused to appear before the grand jury. Prosecutors responded by seeking a body attachment order, authorizing law enforcement to detain her and compel testimony. She is represented by the same attorney as Morgenroth, raising questions about coordination within D4VD's inner circle. Celeste Rivas Hernandez was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, California in April 2024. Her dismembered remains were discovered in the trunk of D4VD's abandoned Tesla in September 2025, one day after what would have been her fifteenth birthday. LAPD has officially identified D4VD as a suspect. Investigators have reportedly identified a second suspect believed to have assisted in disposing of her body. The case has been built using cellphone data, Tesla GPS logs, and social media location tracking. Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins us to break down what these moves signal, why extended testimony often means prosecutors are hunting for inconsistencies, and what legal exposure witnesses face when they withhold critical information. The cracks are widening. #D4VD #CelesteRivas #TrueCrime #GrandJury #LAPD #CelesteRivasHernandez #JusticeForCeleste #RobertMorgenroth #HollywoodHills #TrueCrimeNews #JenniferCoffindaffer #HiddenKillers #TonyBrueski #TrueCrimePodcast #WitnessTampering #LegalAnalysis #LACounty #TrueCrimeCommunity #CriminalInvestigation #BreakingNews Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? The BBC, through its spokespeople and lawyers have told Trump to get ready for his live testimony under oath in the case about Jan6 and him fomenting the crowd to attack the Capitol, as they let leak their aggressive strategy to win the case. Did Trump just step into a bear trap he set, subjecting himself to sworn testimony under oath in order to get the fanciful $10 billion in damages against an ally's broadcaster? Michael Popok dissects the BBC case and that by Trump against the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, and how they are all going scorched earth on Trump. A somewhat shocking day in the Brian Walshe trial with the defense announcing not only will Brian Walshe not testify, no one else will either. It’s a decision based on strategic confidence or avoidance of risk, but either way, the defense surprised a number of legal experts who were anticipating at least a few witnesses to take the stand in defense of Walshe. Today’s decision suggests Walshe’s defense team feels good about their ability to sew reasonable doubt in the minds of jurors through their cross examination of the state’s witnesses. Closing arguments are set for tomorrow!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The prosecution is using known DNA samples collected from Brian and Ana Walshe by the FBI back in 2018 for comparison with crime scene evidence. Most of the DNA from the tested items came back as a single source matching Ana Walshe. Some samples were identified as mixed sources containing DNA from both Ana and Brian Walshe. Details of Brian Walshe's rapid purchases of rugs, candles, towels, and bath mats at HomeGoods on January 2nd and 4th, and the revelation that he paid with gift cards from Ana's no-receipt returns. It is important to prove premeditation and the possible lesser-included charges the jury may consider. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” Isaiah 2:1-3 Come to the House of God Does everyone in your community know where your church is and what it believes and stands for? Do the members of your congregation pour out from Sunday worship and Bible study just looking for people to tell about God? Do you? Do your neighbors know that you are a follower of Jesus? Cassie Ventura, the former partner of Sean "Diddy" Combs, has chosen to testify under her real name in his upcoming federal trial, where he faces charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Identified in court documents as "Victim-1," Ventura's decision contrasts with three other alleged victims who have requested to remain anonymous due to concerns about media harassment and personal safety. Prosecutors have filed motions to allow these individuals to use pseudonyms during the trial to protect their identities.Ventura's willingness to publicly associate her name with the case is significant, given her previous allegations against Combs. In November 2023, she filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape, physical abuse, and sex trafficking, which was settled the following day. Additionally, in May 2024, surveillance footage from a 2016 incident surfaced, allegedly showing Combs physically assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel. This footage has become a focal point in the current proceedings. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains in custody awaiting trial, which is scheduled to commence on May 5, 2025to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Cassie to Testify Against Diddy Using Her Name in Sex Trafficking Trial (Exclusive)

Dems Call On Hegseth To Testify Before Congress Over Narco-Terror Boat Strikes, Trump Envoy Meets With Putin For Ukraine War Negotiations
As part of our Hidden Killers 2025 Year in Review series, we revisit the shocking moment that shattered the illusion of Adelson family unity — Wendi Adelson's refusal to testify for her mother, Donna, in one of Florida's most explosive murder-for-hire trials. In a stunning pretrial twist, Donna's defense team tried to subpoena her daughter, Wendi, hoping her testimony might humanize Donna or counterbalance the prosecution's narrative. But Wendi's lawyers fought back, arguing that testifying could incriminate her — and the judge agreed. The subpoena was tossed, meaning Wendi will not be forced to take the stand. It's a moment that speaks volumes without a word being spoken. While Charlie Adelson, already convicted and serving life for his role in the 2014 murder of Florida State law professor Dan Markel, steps forward to testify for his mother, Wendi stays silent. In a case built on loyalty, control, and manipulation, this silence may say more than any testimony ever could. Tony Brueski and psychotherapist Shavaun Scott break down what this fracture reveals about the psychology of the Adelson family — how fear, guilt, and self-preservation drive behavior when the walls close in. They analyze how jurors are likely to interpret the sibling contrast: one child taking the stand for loyalty, another staying quiet to save herself. Does Wendi's silence protect her, or does it make her look complicit? Then, defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins Tony to explore how this new dynamic could shift courtroom strategy. Could Donna's team now push harder to put her on the stand herself, hoping to fill the emotional vacuum left by Wendi's absence? And what will the state do with a family now publicly divided — a daughter refusing to help her mother, a son defending her from a prison cell? This isn't just a trial about murder. It's about the collapse of a dynasty built on influence and image, where loyalty has finally given way to self-preservation.

Jesus doesn't just save people from their past; He sends them into their future with a story to tell. We are carriers of a story. We have the ministry of reconciliation. What Jesus did for me, he can do for you! Please join Pr. Keith in John 4, looking at the elements of a Thanksgiving testimony and concluding the special sharing of Thanksgiving stories.
A Dallas, Texas intersection turned into my holy ground! It was the Light cutting through fog, life breaking into death. In this episode, I share how a near-collision at Midway & Alpha became the moment God moved me from religion to relationship—and how your testimony can do the same in someone else's life. This Godcast moves from story to Scripture to Savior, showing testimony isn't self-spotlight, but God speaking through redeemed lives. Grace doesn't quiet us... it sends us. Not with tales of our Egypt, but with Exodus steps. Not eloquence, but “Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” Not culture's noise and confusion... but with the living Word, sharp and tender. Now, GO! Testify where He placed your feet on dry ground; not the bondage you left behind, but the freedom He gave you to live in. Then invite someone to that same Deliverer. Today! God's Word: Key passages: John 9; Acts 9; 1 John 5:9–11; Revelation 12:11; plus, Genesis 1, Exodus 25, Psalm 118, Ezekiel 37, Ephesians 2 & 6, Hebrews 4 & 13, and more. You will be able to glean the rest of them from the transcript, amen?Email: walkingtheway3@gmail.com
Jesus' final command to His followers was clear: go and make disciples, and be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. Yet many of us still wrestle with the quiet barriers in our own minds—doubts, fears, and insecurities that hold us back from stepping into our calling. In this episode, Pastor D.J. unpacks three common mental obstacles that often keep believers from sharing their faith, and shows how the truth of Scripture powerfully dismantles each one. Take a moment to listen, be encouraged, and be equipped to walk boldly in the mission Jesus has given us.
The enemy wants you to believe that you're identified by scars. You are, but it's not your scars. You are defined by the scars of Jesus. Scars that He has so you and I can have a seat at His table. Please turn to 2nd Samuel 9 for this week's message.

Today’s Bible Verse:“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” — Philippians 4:5 Paul’s encouragement here is wonderfully practical: let your life make gentleness visible. Not weakness, not passivity — but a steady, Christ-shaped calm that shows people what God’s nearness looks like in everyday moments. When pressures rise or frustrations flare, this verse pulls us back to center. We don’t have to force outcomes or defend ourselves at every turn. The Lord is close, and His presence empowers us to respond with grace that stands out in a loud, reactive world. “Want to listen without ads?
