Dr. Joey Dodson unpacks the commonly misunderstood passage of Romans 7, revealing how the dominant interpretation has mistakenly led Christians to identify with defeat rather than victory in Christ.• Historical interpretation shows earliest Greek readers understood Paul was impersonating someone else, not describing his own post-conversion experience• Augustine shifted the interpretation during disputes with Pelagius, influencing Luther and Calvin• The "I" in Romans 7 is completely dominated by sin, with no mention of the Holy Spirit• Romans 7 likely portrays Adam/Israel under law's condemnation, not the normal Christian life• Paul presents sin as a cosmic tyrant, not just individual actions• Christians are already sanctified but not fully expressing that reality• Our identity is primarily as sons and daughters, not sinners• Community and the Holy Spirit are essential for freedom – isolation keeps us in darkness• Grace doesn't just forgive sin – it frees us from sin's powerThe gospel brings liberation from sin's dominion, not just forgiveness. Our struggle isn't because we must sin, but because we choose to. We've been delivered from the domain of darkness into his marvelous light.

Paul tells us everyone who belongs to God has the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9). John tells us everyone who has eternal life has Jesus (1 Jn. 5:12). And Ephesians says we've been blessed with every spiritual blessing. So is “getting the Holy Spirit” really a second blessing that occurs later? This was John's question when he called in to our radio program. In this short episode, I share the simple truth about being baptized in the Holy Spirit. We hope you enjoyed this episode. Rather than doubting God, we need to trust Him. The more we trust in Him, the greater our hearts will fill with Him hope and peace. Our incurable diagnosis might look intimidating, but it will not endure forever. One day, this illness will be healed and we will be freed from it in Heaven. All of this is only because of God. Recently, I have been in and out of doctor's appointments nonstop. Due to persistent pain and flu-like symptoms, I went to the doctor to try to get help and later had to go to the hospital. With all the symptoms I'm having and the tests that have been run, my doctors have come to the conclusion that I have an incurable diagnosis. What I first thought was a virus turned out to be my body attacking itself in a faulty autoimmune response. Sadly, this diagnosis will stay with me for the rest of my life as there is no cure. Thankfully there are medicines to alleviate pain and symptoms. Throughout the course of this illness and the long process of my diagnosis, I have had periods where my trust in God deepens as well as I have had times where I question His goodness. Sometimes we have to experience both of these things before we emerge on the other side. At first, my walk with God suffered due to my intense symptoms. I felt as though God had left me to the wolves and my lot in life was to suffer. During an intense episode of symptoms, I thought I might die of the pain and I reasoned with myself that I was ready to go. There have also been times where I prayed for God just to take my life because I was in so much pain and I wanted the pain to just end. As time has progressed, I have seen God in my pain. While He did not cause the pain, I know He is helping me through it. My symptoms have gotten better at times and this shows me God is working through the situation. Through continued prayers and petitions, I have acknowledged my dependence on Him. Even though He will not take me out of this situation, He will walk with me through this valley of death (Psalm 23). Most of the time we think about how much an incurable diagnosis has taken from us, but I try to think about the things it has given me. The things it has given me is a renewed love for things I once enjoyed and the opportunity to appreciate the little things in life. My incurable diagnosis has filled my life with new changes and sometimes I am too tired to even get to talk walks—something I once used to enjoy. However, on the days I feel good, these little blessings are all the greater. Being able to take an hour walk and feel good is a true blessing. I used to see exercise as a punishment to my body, but now I see it as a gift. Feeling good enough to go out for a walk, go for a hike, or run through a field are all gifts from the Lord. It is funny how we take these things for granted when we are feeling well, yet we crave them when we are ill. When we face an incurable diagnosis, we start being thankful for these little things and these mighty wonders. What might be an everyday task for someone could be a blessing in disguise for someone with an incurable diagnosis. Each day is a gift, but sometimes our joy has to be taken away before we truly see its beauty. Intersecting Faith & Life: The Apostle Paul tells us, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). As Paul says here, God is the God of all hope, and He will fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him. All of this will ensure our hearts overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Whenever our incurable diagnosis has us feeling down, we need to turn to God. He can fill us with hope as we trust in Him. It can be hard to trust God with hard things, such as an incurable diagnosis, but we need to trust Him with all things. Although God doesn't normally heal people supernaturally in the present day, there is no reason to believe that He won't help us go into remission and fight our illnesses. Challenge Questions: Is it hard for you to find hope in God during difficult times? Are you facing an incurable diagnosis? How might you find hope in Him today? Whether you have an incurable diagnosis or not, you can still take time to thank God for the little things. What might you thank Him for today? “Dear God, coping with this incurable diagnosis has been very hard. Looking ahead, I only see pain, tears, and bitterness. I'm giving all of these fears over to You. I don't know what will happen to me, but I trust in You. Please heal me and give my soul lasting peace. In Your Son's Name, I pray, Amen.” Discover more Christian podcasts at lifeaudio.com and inquire about advertising opportunities at lifeaudio.com/contact-us.
There are many kinds of PRAYER. One kind is INTERCESSION or TRAVAILING in prayer: “My little children, for whom I LABOUR in birth again until Christ is formed in you” (Galatians 4:19). We need to YIELD to the HOLY SPIRIT, for Him to pray through us as He wants. We want to yield our hearts & bodies to Him, to pray God's will into people's lives: “It is not by (human) might, and not by (human) power, but by My SPIRIT, says the Lord” (Zechariah 4:6). We need to let God fill us with His love, so that we pray from a heart of love. Everywhere Jesus went, He was MOVED with COMPASSION to meet the needs of people, and God's POWER was manifested through Him (Matthew 9:36, 14:14, 15:32, 20:34, Mark 1:41, 6:34, 8:2, 9:22, Luke 7:13). Romans 5:5: “The LOVE of God has been SHED ABROAD in OUR HEARTS by the HOLY SPIRIT, who was GIVEN to us.” Thus, the same compassion (love) that moved Jesus is in us. But we have to learn to yield to it. When we are moved with COMPASSION, we not only recognise their need and feel for the one who is suffering, but God also EMPOWERS us to MEET their NEED. One way to do this is to PRAY in the SPIRIT for them (Romans 8:26-27). We also need to pray in faith. Faith does not depend on fickle feelings. It is a matter of believing God and His Word, and then we need to exercise our faith by obeying His Word, acting as if it is true. We become STRONG in FAITH by (1) MEDITATING in God's WORD, and (2) EXERCISING our FAITH, by corresponding actions. We build up our FAITH MUSCLES, when we EXERCISE our FAITH (put it into action). All prayer, when prayed in faith to God the Father in the Name of Jesus, is powerful. One area where you can BUILD up your FAITH by EXERCISE is in the area of PRAYER, especially PRAYING in TONGUES. If you never exercise your faith by praying in tongues, trusting the Holy Spirit to give you the utterance (Acts 2:4), then your faith in that area will never grow! When you receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, you automatically receive the ability to pray in tongues. But you must exercise this gift to activate it, so it is fruitful in your life. It's the same way with God's LOVE. He has already given us His LOVE (Romans 5:5). We must believe this truth and put His love into action in our lives, by walking in love. God wants us to agree with His Word, that He has already given us His love – and start exercising it! He says to you: “I have shed My love abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit” (Romans 5:5). You are a love child of a love God. We still have the flesh, but God's love in our heart is more powerful than our flesh. God has given us free-will, so we can choose to love or not to love. If you are born again, you are His child, and so you have His nature in your spirit, you have His LOVE in you, but by not exercising His love, you are allowing your flesh to take control of your life. But if you do EXERCISE the LOVE of God in you by faith (not feelings), for example by PRAYING for someone when you do not feel like it, then His love will fill you, and flow through you, and you will grow in love and become a lover of mankind, full of mercy and compassion. You become a person MOVED with COMPASSION to DO something, for example, YIELDING to the SPIRIT, asking Him to take control of your lips, to PRAY through you God's perfect will for that person. Matthew 9:36-38: “When He saw the multitudes, He was MOVED with COMPASSION for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep with no shepherd. Then He SAID to His disciples: “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore, PRAY the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into His harvest.” Jesus was moved with COMPASSION, and His next thought is to PRAY. Therefore, there is a linking together of LOVE and PRAYER. When you have COMPASSION for someone, you want to reach God on their behalf. Today, God is calling His people to lay down our lives and PRAY. In the days to come, IF we will lay down our lives and PRAY, we will be entering into God's call for our life, and we will begin to become unselfish. The nature of GOD is to GIVE (John 3:16). The greatest joy in the world is for us to love others, for example, to help someone in trouble. Jesus wants us to be known for our LOVE (John 13:34-35). Standing in the gap for someone else is an act of love. INTERCESSORY PRAYER is an ACT of LOVE. As you sow to the Spirit by doing good, such as interceding for others, you will REAP everlasting LIFE (Galatians 6:7-9). YIELD your tongue to the HOLY SPIRIT, and pray in unknown tongues, trusting in the Spirit to give you the words (Acts 2:4): “for he who speaks in an unknown tongue does not SPEAK to men but TO GOD, for no one understands him; however, IN the SPIRIT he speaks MYSTERIES” (1Corinthians 14:2).

Peace Tap or click here to save/download this question as a MP3 file The world we live in, wants peace! The world is unified around the concept of peace! However, the peace the world wants requires the manipulation of circumstances. God's peace, however, comes regardless of circumstances. Definition of Peace: 'Shalom' was the Hebrew word used in the Old Testament. It means a wholeness of well-being & mind; the total absence of conflict and turmoil evidenced by an untroubled mind and a heart that does not fear! It is total harmony with God, man, circumstances & self. That is true peace! History of Peace The end of peace was when Adam sinned and fellowship was broken with God and between humans. God is a God of peace (1 Thessalonians 5:23). and the Kingdom of God is about peace in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). Jesus is referred to as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9v6). As a Christian Disciples, you have peace with God through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection! There are three scopes of peace. Peace with God As a Christian Disciple, you have peace with God because you are justified by faith. This peace gives you access into God's grace and blessings (Romans 5:1-2). Jesus Christ is your bridge of peace between God & yourself. Jesus is also the peace between other people and you, and all hostility has been removed (Romans 2:13-18). Peace with Others You are to live at peace with everyone and not to be proud or vengeful (Romans 12vv17-20). You are to do what is right in the eyes of other people and exhibit positive goodness. You are to make every effort to do what leads to peace & mutual edification Romans 14vv13-19, and not place stumbling blocks in front of others! Peace Within As a Christian Disciple, you have the gift of peace with God, from the God of peace (Philippians 4:4-9) given to you by Jesus Christ who is the Prince of Peace! (John 14v27). You are to be a peacemaker, by having internal peace, this shows the fruit of the Spirit. When faced with troubled times & a troubled world, you can have peace through an untroubled, unfearful heart & mind (John 16v33). Gain peace within As you live a life in obedience to Jesus, you bear the fruit of righteousness, which is peace, quietness and confidence (Isaiah 32:17). A mind controlled by the Holy Spirit of peace gives a life of peace and total trust in God! (Isaiah 26v3; Romans 8v6). Lastly, when you are content whatever the situation , this enables the peace of God to guard your heart & mind (Philippians 4v11-12). Go, and be at peace with God, others and yourself! Intro: Last week, Paul taught us that the only way you and I can live in obedience to Christ is to submit to the Holy Spirit under the authority of God's Word. At the end of chapter 7, Paul acknowledges the battle between the old sinful nature and the new nature we received by faith in Christ. He said, "What a wretched man am I! Who can rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!" (Romans 7:24-25) In response to the question and the answer, Paul breaks out in a time of worship and praise, celebrating our freedom in Christ and living life in the power of the Holy Spirit. Let's examine the treasurers in this passage and apply the principles to our lives so we can live life in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Church is best defined by the outward means of grace (Gospel and Sacraments) and those who are born again by the Holy Spirit. Although hypocrites might be in the church, the definition does not include unbelievers. The kingdom of Christ is the righteousness of the heart and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17), the Pillar of the Truth (I Timothy 3:15), and cleansed by the washing of water with the word (Ephesians 5:25). “Elect from every nation, yet one o'er all the earth; Her charter of salvation: One Lord, one faith, one birth. One holy name she blesses, partakes one holy food, And to one hope she presses, with every grace endued.” LSB #644, st. 2 Rev. Philippians 3:10 NLT, I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead! [In daily life] We don't say "Jesus Has Risen" (past tense). We say "Jesus Is Risen" because He is still alive to empower us for daily living! The power of resurrection is daily strength through the Holy Spirit Romans 8:11, And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

Romans 8:26-27 26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Hey mamas :) My last episode of the year is all about identity. The one thing that I want to correct myself on is this: "Each person upon accepting the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ receives the Holy Spirit inside as a seal of salvation (Ephesians 1:12–14). The Spirit THEN gives to each believer certain gifts from God to do the work of God (1 Corinthians 12:4–6). Scripture contains several passages about spiritual gifts: No matter what the gift, its purpose is to edify and mature the church and to glorify God in serving others. All gifts are given by grace from God through the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:6; 1 Corinthians 12:4; Hebrews 2:4). Different people are given different gifts. Not everyone receives the same gift (1 Corinthians 12:4). Those gifted with various spiritual gifts are meant to work together as the parts of a body work together (1 Corinthians 12:12–27). The gifts God gives to His people are divinely placed for the good of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27)." PLEASE see LINKS below and the Scriptures that I share on, which I strongly encourage you to dig into as well. :) I love you mamas and I'm praying for you!!! Step 1: Know who God is. Step 2: Have a personal relationship with Christ. 3. Confess lies you have believed about yourself and/or God. 4. Repent from those and allow God to transform your mind with who He says He is and who He says you are. 5. Continue to seek God and walk in His ways and in how He created you. A LIST OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS: https://www.gotquestions.org/spiritual-gifts-list.html THE VERSES: For YOU created my INMOST being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 129:13-14. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Jeremiah 1:5. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them– Romans 12:6. Psalm 119:73-74 You made me; you created me. Isaiah 64:8 Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand. 1 Peter 4:10-11 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:12). Grace and peace, family.
Conscience in the Holy Spirit Romans 9:1 I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit, Every Man's Conscience 2 Corinthians 4:1-2 Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. Mind different than Conscience Titus 1:15-16 To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. Contact us at: thewavecolumbus@gmail.com, or www.thewavecolumbus.com

Have you been blessed by God? I would hope that all of us would quickly agree that God has blessed us richly. When God called Abram to leave his country and go to the land he would show him, he said, “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.” As believers in Jesus Christ, we are blessed to be a blessing. Not just to enjoy God's blessings to us, but to be able to pass a blessing on to others. Have you ever intentionally determined that you wanted to be that kind of Christian who blesses others? You know, if you don't find a practical way to be a blessing, or you don't remind yourself to bless others, you can go through your days just self-focused and self-centered, and never blessing anyone else. So, I've been encouraging you to give away blessings. In fact, we've prepared a set of 31 lovely cards, each with a scriptural blessing on it, to help you become more intentional about giving away blessings. Those are now on our website here. Here's a good blessing to give someone. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13). We all lose hope from time to time. No doubt you know someone who is losing hope right now; they've lost their job, or lost their home, or some other problem just won't go away, and they're ready to give up. Suppose you gave them this card with this give-away blessing and let them know you are praying that God will fill their hearts with hope and they won't give up. I know you would be a blessing to that person. If you know someone who is a little confused about what they are supposed to do, or feels inconsequential with low self-esteem, you might want to give them this card from Ephesians 2:10, which says, “We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." This is one of my favorite verses, for it says that every child of God is here with a distinct and specific purpose, designed by God. Giving a person this card with words of encouragement from you could make a huge difference in their attitude. If you'd like to do a better job of blessing others, then go to our website and print this set of 31 cards with give-away blessings on them. You won't regret it.
[02:00] Republican Debate (19 minutes) Donald Trump won his second consecutive Republican debate last night. Trump didn't attend the debate, but he still managed to be the main topic of discussion among the remaining candidates who are all polling in single digits. [21:00] The Biden Brand (21 minutes) The Joe Biden impeachment inquiry has begun. CNN reluctantly listed off numerous pieces of evidence Republicans have collected showing that the Biden family routinely sold out America in exchange for money. CNN concluded that the evidence so far wasn't actual proof Joe did anything wrong. [42:00] Led by the Holy Spirit (13 minutes) A true Christian is someone who has God's Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14). How does God's Spirit work in your life? How do you use it? What do you have to do?
The three functions of the spirit are the conscience, the fellowship, and the intuition. The three functions of the soul are the mind, the will, and the emotionThe Heart is where we deposit everything. It is WHO we ARE, the location of everyone of our intention. The reasons we do what we do. Genesis 2:7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.Zechariah 12:1The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretch forth the heavens, and lay the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirit of man within him.Psalm 104:30When you give them your breath, life is created, and you renew the face of the earth.Job 32:8But it is the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.1 Corinthians 2:11For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.Psalms 13:2How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?Luke 6:45A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bring forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaksMatthew 12:34-35You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil.Mark 7:21–23For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.Galatians 5:19-21Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.1 Corinthians 6:9-11Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.Proverbs 4:1-27For as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behavior—one who manipulates]. He says to you, “Eat and drink,” Yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost].Romans 10:10For with the heart, one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is savedGalatians 5:16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.Colossians 3:8 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.2 Samuel 23:2“The Spirit of the Lord speaks by me; his word is on my tongue.Romans 8:16The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.Romans 9:1I tell you the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit …”Romans 8:14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.Matthew 4:1Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.”Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/622a9079e8fb640012cb94f3. What pleases God? This question is at the heart of what the Bible says about righteousness. This week, Brian Barr kicked off a new 3-week sermon series on Romans 14:17 - a verse that reminds followers of Jesus what is most important to the Christian life. Pursuing righteousness means living to please God wholeheartedly. Sometimes we can feel like “loser” Christians because we try, but fail and don't feel righteous. The good news of the gospel is that, in Christ, our status of righteousness does not change! And God has given us His Holy Spirit who empowers us to hunger and thirst for righteousness, and to become in practice who we already are in Christ! You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 9am and 11am CST every Sunday morning. "We've got churches of Christians. I'd like to see a church of all sinners!” my coworker joked. I stopped and looked at him. He and another coworker laughed. .“But… but that's what a church is,” I tried to say. “That's… that's the point.” Neither man is a church go-er. But they both grew up in church and stopped attending as they reached adulthood. Had they both missed this essential part of Christianity? That we are ALL sinners, including those in the church? .Romans 3:23-24 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Every church is packed with sinners. None of us are perfect (Romans 3:10). The Bible isn't full of perfect people. Rahab was a prostitute. David used his power as king to have sex with Bathsheba, then have her husband killed. Paul hunted down and killed Christians. And God welcomed them into the church. We are the church. Only Jesus's death and resurrection can make us forgiven and new. Jesus came to save the lost and restore the sinners, and He does this for us every day, constantly healing us of our sin (Luke 19:10; Mark 2:17). .It broke my heart to see people who've attended church and still don't know the truth about Jesus. What are we doing wrong? Are we not sharing the gospel? Are we not telling the rough parts of our testimonies? Are we afraid of sin, afraid of sharing our lives honestly? Jesus isn't afraid of our sin. He knows it all, and He loves us and rescues us. .Because of Jesus, we are free to be real. Does this mean we embrace or glorify sin? No. Our desire is to become more like Christ by relying on the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2). But let's also be honest about the messy sin in our lives, the sin Jesus rescues us from. • Natty Maelle .• Have you ever felt like you don't belong in church? Why? It's okay to be honest. Jesus doesn't reject you; He cares deeply for you. You can talk to Him about these feelings and hurts anytime.. •Who can you be honest with about your sin struggles—people who will listen, not condemning you but encouraging you in your walk with Christ? (You can ask God for relationships like this.).•If you go to church, do you think new Christians or hesitant attendees feel like outsiders there? Or do you think they feel welcomed, loved, and seen? (Romans 8:1; 15:7).For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24 (NIV)
One of the most important things you must know about purpose is that it is worship. We exist for his worship. The chief aim of man is to glorify God forever. Worship is not an option, it is a command. It is the purpose of your life.Psalm 147:1, Psalm 33:1Psalm 150:6, Psalm 34:1Hebrews 13:15Philippians 2:5-10The theology of worship is not predicated on how good you think God is.Acts 17:28You depend on God and he created you that way. When God creates anything, he creates an atmosphere for them to survive.Genesis 1:11, 20God didn't create anything until the environment for which it will thrive was created.- [ ] What does it mean to be a son of God?1. God is the source of your life.2. You have the Holy Spirit Romans 8:153. You are God's representative on the earth Genesis 6:2-3There is a level of your purpose you cannot touch unless you have experienced his presence. In the presence is the intelligence for my assignment.
