Here we are following up our conversation from last week on Longevity with the number one reason people are not living out their natural lives. Chronic Illness has evolved over the centuries, with each point in time finding the cause and treating it such as hygiene & the plague for example. Now we are faced with the 21t century version of this in various forms, such as cancer and heart disease. The cause is what needs to be treated but has been generally overlooked in order to treat the symptoms in a more reactionary approach instead of taking a defensive or preventative approach. Ian & Dr. Baylac discuss this problem & the challenges the more ‘traditional’ western treatments have been facing. For more information, visit the website https://www.hawaiinaturopathicretreat.com or call 808-933-4400.
In this episode, we’re discussing the topic of longevity and the impacts of chronic illness. For most people, the goal of living a long and healthy life is what everyone strives for, but these days people are getting sick which impedes the aging process and hinders our natural abilities to age properly. Centenarians are a rapidly growing part of our population, and there have been several studies done to see what their secrets are. Aging is a natural biochemical process in our bodies and society has come to think that chronic illness is part of aging, which is not true. We should be living long, healthy, disease free lives. Ian & Dr. Baylac discuss these issues and how society somehow has come to accept something that we should consider taking another look at….living a long, disease-free life.
