In today's podcast episode, I'm joined once again by thyroid expert and author Paul Robinson for a listener-led thyroid Q&A session. After our first thyroid conversation was so well received, I invited members from my Facebook community to submit their biggest thyroid-related questions, and we covered a wide range of topics surrounding hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, T3 therapy, reverse T3, thyroid labs, symptoms, body temperature, hormone balance, and more. Some of the questions discussed in this episode include: • Is reverse T3 testing important? • How low is too low for TSH? • Why do some people with Hashimoto's struggle to convert T4 into T3? • What do high thyroglobulin and anti-thyroglobulin antibodies mean? • How can you support better T4 to T3 conversion? • Why do some people worsen on natural desiccated thyroid? • Can T3 dosing schedules change as healing occurs? • Can BHRT change thyroid medication needs? • Is there a connection between hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's, and migraines? • Can you still have hypothyroid symptoms with a “normal” body temperature? • What markers can help identify reverse T3 issues when testing is unavailable? • How can symptoms, pulse, blood pressure, and temperature help guide T3 dosing? This conversation is educational, nuanced, and filled with practical insights for those navigating thyroid symptoms and thyroid treatment. Paul Robinson is the author of: • The Thyroid Patient's Manual • Recovering with T3 • The CT3M Handbook Whether you are newly diagnosed, struggling despite “normal labs,” or wanting a deeper understanding of thyroid physiology and treatment approaches, I hope this conversation helps you feel more informed and empowered. Paul Robinson is a thyroid patient and thyroid patient advocate. Paul wrote 'The CT3M Handbook' as a companion book to 'Recovering with T3' to explain more about raising cortisol levels if needed. And Paul wrote his third book ‘The Thyroid Patient's Manual'. This book covers all types of thyroid medications (T4, T4/T3, NDT, and T3). His newest book "Articles on Hypothyroidism" combines the best of what Paul has discovered on his 35 year thyroid journey. If you have Hashimoto's and have been told your blood sugar is "borderline" or "fine for now," this conversation will change how you think about it. Inna sits down with Dr. Jason Shumard, a functional medicine practitioner with more than two decades of experience in diabetes and insulin resistance, to unpack why blood sugar troubles and thyroid autoimmunity so often travel together. The surprising takeaway is that elevated blood sugar usually isn't a sugar problem at all. It's a signal that something has gone wrong at the level of the cell, and chasing the number alone tends to leave the real issue untouched.Dr. Jason walks through what's actually happening when insulin can no longer do its job, and why the receptors on your cells stop responding in the first place. He explains the role that hidden drivers like infections, mold, heavy metals, chronic inflammation and everyday stress play in keeping the cycle going, and why these overlap so heavily with the same triggers behind Hashimoto's. He and Inna also dig into the lab markers worth paying attention to beyond a basic glucose reading, the optimal ranges he looks for, and the simple ratio already sitting on most standard bloodwork that can flag insulin resistance early. The discussion gets especially practical around carbohydrates, GLP-1 medications, and the idea of cycling rather than relying on any single tool forever. Dr. Jason offers a refreshingly balanced view, neither demonizing carbs nor treating medications as a permanent fix, and shares why restoring true cellular function is what allows so many people to move toward remission. It's an honest, hopeful look at a topic that affects far more people with thyroid issues than most realize, and a reminder that the body is often far more capable of healing than we've been led to believe. For full show notes, please see: https://innatopiler.com/podcasts/lowering-blood-sugar-insulin-resistance-hashimotos-dr-jason-shumard/Get ThyroLove - the first all in one bottle multi-nutrient comprehensive formula designed specifically for those with Thyroid Autoimmunity at ThyroLove.com - use code “Podcast” to get 10% off and free shipping If you are struggling to lose weight with Hashimoto's, Inna has a 10 day plan just for you at InnaTopiler.com/jumpstartIf you need help with fatigue or brain fog with Hashimoto's, please check out Inna's 9 Day Exhaustion Solution at innatopiler.com/energyIf you don't yet know your thyroid type, please be sure you sign up for Inna's next free training at InnaTopiler.com/zoomcallFor more information about everything Hashimoto's please visit InnaTopiler.com Get ThyroLove - use code “Podcast” to get 10% off and free shipping

Thyroid Symptoms, Normal Labs, and Root Causes: Dr. Kevin Smith on Hashimoto's, Functional Medicine, and Chronic Conditions | Conversations with a Chiropractor Episode Description In this episode of Conversations with a Chiropractor, Dr. Stephanie Wautier sits down with Dr. Kevin Smith, a functional medicine practitioner and founder of the Chronic Conditions Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Smith specializes in helping people better understand the root causes behind chronic health problems, including thyroid dysfunction, gut issues, autoimmunity, chronic pain, inflammation, peripheral neuropathy, insulin resistance, and other complex conditions. This conversation focuses heavily on thyroid health, especially the frustration many people feel when they have symptoms of hypothyroidism, but are told their labs are "normal." Dr. Smith explains why thyroid symptoms can involve far more than a simple TSH reading, and why many cases of hypothyroidism may be connected to Hashimoto's disease, an autoimmune condition that affects the thyroid. Stephanie and Dr. Smith talk through common thyroid symptoms, including fatigue, hair loss, weak nails, digestive changes, sleep issues, brain fog, mood changes, infertility, and skin problems. They also discuss why a deeper look at the body may include the immune system, gut health, liver function, blood sugar, cortisol, sex hormones, inflammation, food sensitivities, unresolved infections, and nutrient status. The episode also explores the difference between managing symptoms and looking for the underlying reasons a person may not feel well. Dr. Smith shares how he uses detailed intake forms, comprehensive lab testing, metabolic questionnaires, food sensitivity testing, lifestyle changes, nutrition, supplements, and retesting to help patients better understand what is happening in their body. This conversation is educational and is not a replacement for personal medical care. If you are dealing with thyroid symptoms, autoimmune concerns, medication questions, or chronic health issues, work with a qualified healthcare provider who can evaluate your individual situation. In This Episode, Discover Common symptoms of hypothyroidism and low thyroid function Why "normal labs" may not tell the whole story The connection between Hashimoto's disease and thyroid dysfunction Why Dr. Smith describes many thyroid issues as immune system issues How the brain, pituitary gland, thyroid, liver, gut, and carrier proteins all play a role in thyroid function Why every cell in the body depends on thyroid hormone for energy regulation How chronic inflammation, blood sugar issues, cortisol, sex hormones, food sensitivities, and infections may affect thyroid physiology Why comprehensive lab testing may reveal patterns missed by basic panels The difference between food allergy testing and food sensitivity testing How lifestyle changes, nutrition, supplements, and retesting fit into functional medicine care Why patients may need to take a more active role in understanding their health Stay Connected & Explore Learn More About Dr. Kevin Smith & Metabolic Solutions: Dr. Kevin Smith / Metabolic Solutions: https://www.metabolicsolutions.net/ Free 2-Minute Metabolic Health Assessment: https://www.metabolicsolutions.net/metabolic-scorecard/ Chronic Conditions Center: https://www.chronicpa.com/ Connect with Conversations with a Chiropractor: Follow Us on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/@ConversationswithaChiro Follow Dr. Stephanie on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wautierwellness Email for show-related inquiries and sponsorships: drstephaniewautier@yahoo.com Want to be a guest on Conversations with a Chiropractor? Many people still deal with the same symptoms or worse after surgery. The gallbladder stores and concentrates bile, releasing it when needed. Bile is essential for breaking down fats and absorbing fat-soluble vitamins.Gallstones form when there's too much cholesterol and not enough bile salts. Bile sludge typically develops first, eventually leading to gallstones. The real cause of gallstones is not producing enough bile to handle cholesterol. When the gallbladder is removed, you lose the ability to store and concentrate bile. Some people even experience too much bile flow afterward, which can lead to diarrhea.Dietary fat does not cause gallstones! Low-fat diets are the single greatest triggers of gallstones. Fat actually stimulates bile production. The real problem is sugar and hidden sugars. High-carb diets increase cholesterol while reducing bile production, raising the risk of gallstones. This is why prediabetics and diabetics are more likely to develop gallstones.Bile salts can help thin bile sludge and may even support the breakdown of gallstones. TUDCA is especially effective for thinning bile in the ducts, particularly in cases linked to right shoulder pain. Taking bile salts right after eating can also support fat digestion and bile flow.Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio:Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Robyn also clarifies why standard thyroid labs may miss key patterns, especially when the issue lies not in hormone production, but in hormone conversion or cellular utilization. You will gain insight into how metabolic slowdowns can contribute to hormonal imbalances, digestive dysfunction, reduced detox capacity, nutrient deficiencies, and immune hyperreactivity—all of which play major roles in chronic skin symptoms. How do you know what health advice to follow when you're fatigued, bloated, constipated, and overwhelmed by TikTok, Instagram, and conflicting provider opinions? Are biohacks like cold plunges, red light, and endless supplements actually helping—or are you missing the foundational “bio stack” that makes everything work?In this episode of the She Talks Health podcast, I sat down with Jen Trepeck, a health and lifestyle coach, host of the award-winning podcast Salad with a Side of Fries, and author of Uncomplicated Wellness, to talk about why the wellness world has become so noisy. I shared what clients are searching for when looking for answers about their health (fatigue, bloating, missing periods, constipation, hypothyroidism, estrogen dominance, mold, parasites, and more) and how many people now show up having tried every diet, piles of supplements, and trendy routines, yet they're more confused than ever. Jen opened up about her own story of growing up around dieting, gaining weight between high school and college, and cycling through restriction until she learned how the body actually works with food and got on the same team as her body. We talked about how to filter wellness noise by going back to what you already know to be true for you, stopping the habit of outsourcing decision-making, and checking bias—who wrote the headline, who funded the study, and what we personally want to believe. We also went deep into her key concept: bio stacking over biohacking. Jen explained that biohacks are marginal improvements, which can be great if your foundation is strong, but most people aren't even hitting the most basic foundations of health. Her “bio stack” foundation includes fuel, movement, hydration, sleep, stress, and connection, and the goal is to experiment and observe real feedback from your body instead of chasing perfection. Jen's hope with her book, Uncomplicated Wellness, is that it helps you relax, define wellness for yourself, and build a plan that supports your health without opting out of real life. When we start listening to our bodies and tuning out the nutrition news that doesn't work for us, we can finally start building on our foundations of health and find normalcy again. Hashimoto's is often treated as a thyroid problem. But in reality, it is a problem of immune confusion. When the immune system loses tolerance and begins reacting to the body's own tissues, inflammation and symptoms follow. In this conversation, Inna Topiler sits down with Michael Antonelli to explore a fascinating area of emerging research that may change how we think about immune regulation in Hashimoto's. Instead of trying to stimulate or suppress the immune system, the focus shifts to something much more intelligent, helping the immune system regain balance and recognize what truly belongs in the body.Michael shares research on human-equivalent lactoferrin, a bioactive compound inspired by breast milk that appears to play a role in gut signaling, iron balance, and immune communication. The science behind it opens an interesting window into how the gut and immune system interact, and why restoring the right signals may be just as important as removing triggers. This conversation brings together gut health, immune regulation, and the deeper idea of helping the body restore its own internal intelligence. When the immune system learns to communicate clearly again, many of the patterns behind autoimmune symptoms begin to make more sense. You can see much more about Human Mimicking Lactoferrin here and use code “RESTORE” to get 10% off.For full show notes, please see:https://innatopiler.com/podcasts/balancing-immune-system-hashimotos-michael-antonelli/Get ThyroLove - the first all in one bottle multi-nutrient comprehensive formula designed specifically for those with Thyroid Autoimmunity at ThyroLove.com - use code “Podcast” to get 10% off and free shipping If you are struggling to lose weight with Hashimoto's, Inna has a 10 day plan just for you at InnaTopiler.com/jumpstartIf you need help with fatigue or brain fog with Hashimoto's, please check out Inna's 9 Day Exhaustion Solution at innatopiler.com/energyIf you don't yet know your thyroid type, please be sure you sign up for Inna's next free training at InnaTopiler.com/zoomcallFor more information about everything Hashimoto's please visit InnaTopiler.com

You know about aloe for sunburn relief and skin care. But could this simple plant also offer real support for your thyroid health? In this episode of the Paloma podcast, we explore the surprising science behind aloe vera—a botanical most people associate with sunburns, but one that may have deeper benefits for people living with hypothyroidism and autoimmune thyroid disease. From a rich mix of vitamins, enzymes, and antioxidants to its long history in traditional medicine, aloe has captured the attention of researchers looking for natural ways to support metabolic and immune health. But what does the research actually say? We break down emerging evidence suggesting that daily aloe vera juice may improve thyroid hormone levels and reduce autoimmune activity in people with mild thyroid dysfunction. Of course, natural remedies aren't risk-free. In this deep dive, we also discuss who might benefit from aloe, potential side effects, and why timing and medical guidance matter—especially if you take thyroid medication.

In this episode, I am joined by Dr. Shivani Gupta to talk about Ayurveda, inflammation, and what this 5,000 year old system of medicine reveals about Hashimoto's and thyroid health. There are moments in clinical practice where you realize the conversation around inflammation has been too narrow. We measure antibodies. We look at gut markers. We talk about nutrients. But there is another layer that often gets overlooked, the way daily rhythm and nervous system patterns shape immune behavior.Ayurveda does not separate digestion from stress or stress from immune signaling. It looks at the entire terrain. It asks how your constitution influences the way you burn through energy, hold onto it, or stagnate it. It challenges the idea that everyone should follow the same rules for healing. What I appreciate about this discussion is that it does not add complexity. It adds perspective. It reframes inflammation as something influenced by pace, timing, and consistency, not just inputs. If you have ever felt like you were doing everything on paper and still missing something deeper, this episode will help you see your thyroid in a more integrated way.For full show notes, please see:https://innatopiler.com/podcasts/ayurveda-inflammation-hashimotos-thyroid-dr-shivani-gupta/Get ThyroLove - the first all in one bottle multi-nutrient comprehensive formula designed specifically for those with Thyroid Autoimmunity at ThyroLove.com - use code “Podcast” to get 10% off and free shipping If you are struggling to lose weight with Hashimoto's, Inna has a 10 day plan just for you at InnaTopiler.com/jumpstartIf you need help with fatigue or brain fog with Hashimoto's, please check out Inna's 9 Day Exhaustion Solution at innatopiler.com/energyIf you don't yet know your thyroid type, please be sure you sign up for Inna's next free training at InnaTopiler.com/zoomcallFor more information about everything Hashimoto's please visit InnaTopiler.com

But your body still feels braced, wired, or unable to truly settle. In this episode, Inna sits down with Dr. Karyn Shanks to talk about a layer of healing that rarely gets addressed, hypervigilance. We explore how overfunctioning, overworking, and constantly being on can become a stress pattern that keeps cortisol elevated and the immune system reactive. Not because you are failing, but because your nervous system has learned to stay alert. You will see how sensations like throat tightness, chest constriction, or a constant sense of urgency are not random. We talk about the difference between a sensation and the story your brain builds around it, and why giving a feeling space for even ninety seconds can shift your physiology. We also discuss trauma informed care, why safety has to come before deeper healing, and how overdoing can be tied to worthiness and performance rather than true resilience.Healing is not only biochemical. It is also nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and learning when to say yes and when to say no.This episode will help you look at your thyroid healing through a wider lens and understand what might still be keeping your body on guard. For full show notes, please see:https://innatopiler.com/podcasts/hashimotos-protocol-karyn-shanks/Get ThyroLove - the first all in one bottle multi-nutrient comprehensive formula designed specifically for those with Thyroid Autoimmunity at ThyroLove.com - use code “Podcast” to get 10% off and free shipping If you are struggling to lose weight with Hashimoto's, Inna has a 10 day plan just for you at InnaTopiler.com/jumpstartIf you need help with fatigue or brain fog with Hashimoto's, please check out Inna's 9 Day Exhaustion Solution at innatopiler.com/energyIf you don't yet know your thyroid type, please be sure you sign up for Inna's next free training at InnaTopiler.com/zoomcallFor more information about everything Hashimoto's please visit InnaTopiler.com

The result: lethargy, weight gain, sluggish digestion, and lots, lots more. Does this describe any of your clients? But treating endocrine diseases is a tricky business. THE BETTER BELLY PODCAST - Gut Health Transformation Strategies for a Better Belly, Brain, and Body

Have you been told that your thyroid — or hypothyroidism — is the reason you're dealing with fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, dry skin, constipation, bloating, or digestive issues that seem to keep piling up?Have you started thyroid medication or supplements, only to feel maybe a little better… but still not like yourself?Or maybe your doctor is telling you that your labs are “normal,” but you're still suspicious thyroid might have something to do with it — and you want to know how you can support your thyroid safely to boost your energy, digestion, and metabolism? If any of that sounds familiar, then this episode is for you. Today we're continuing the Real Root Cause Series, where I'm taking conditions that are commonly labeled as root causes — and breaking down to you what their REAL root causes are. This is super powerful because understanding a fake vs. real root cause is the difference between healing from your symptoms... or not. Today's topic is: thyroid health — specifically hypothyroidism. This episode might ruffle some feathers, because I'm going to make the case that hypothyroidism itself is not a true root cause. That doesn't mean your symptoms aren't real. And it definitely doesn't mean your labs don't matter. But it doesmean that something else is driving why your thyroid hormones aren't working the way they should. In this episode, I'm walking you through:Why thyroid medication alone often doesn't fully resolve symptomsHow you can have “normal” labs and still have hypothyroid symptomsHow thyroid hormones are actually made, converted, and used in the bodyWhat this has to do with finding (and testing for) the real root causes to thyroid imbalanceWhat gut health has to do with thyroid healthAnd what needs to be addressed underneath your thyroid for your symptoms to truly improve If you're ready to understand your thyroid better than you ever have, plus have the tools you need to support your thyroid (and whole body health) beyond medication - then this episode is for you. So many people with Hashimoto's carry emotional patterns they don't even realize are affecting their thyroid. Today we take a closer look at the invisible habits we learn early in life, the ones that quietly shape how safe we feel being ourselves.Sometimes you minimize what hurt you. Sometimes you feel responsible for other people's reactions. Sometimes you stop trusting your own knowing, even when your body is nudging you in the right direction. These patterns may seem emotional on the surface, but they create real physiological stress, and your thyroid feels every bit of it.This episode explores why these habits form, how they show up in everyday situations, and why the thyroid is uniquely sensitive to self-expression, boundaries, and inner trust. You will see how simple shifts in awareness can help your body feel safer, calmer, and more supported from the inside out.If you have ever felt like you disappear inside your own life, or like your voice gets quieter when you need it most, this conversation will help you reconnect to yourself in a deeper way. Your thyroid responds to that connection, and you may be surprised how much changes when you begin to honor what you truly feel.Healing is not only biochemical, it  is also emotional, energetic, and rooted in how you relate to yourself every day. For full show notes, please see:https://innatopiler.com/podcasts/thyroid-labs-hashimotos/Get ThyroLove - the first all in one bottle multi-nutrient comprehensive formula designed specifically for those with Thyroid Autoimmunity at ThyroLove.com - use code “Podcast” to get 10% off and free shipping For more information about everything Hashimoto's please visit InnaTopiler.comIf you are struggling to lose weight with Hashimoto's, Inna has a 10 day plan just for you at InnaTopiler.com/jumpstartIf you need help with fatigue or brain fog with Hashimoto's, please check out Inna's 9 Day Exhaustion Solution at innatopiler.com/energyIf you don't yet know your thyroid type, please be sure you sign up for Inna's next free training at InnaTopiler.com/zoomcall

What if your teen's painful periods, anxiety, or constant worry are early red flags for Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism? In this eye-opening episode of the Health with Hashimoto's podcast, host Esther Yunkin sits down with quadruple board-certified physician Dr. David Bilstrom to explore how hormone imbalances like estrogen dominance can show up in teenagers—long before thyroid issues are diagnosed. Dr. Bilstrom shares that these “rev without calm” patterns (think bad cramps, heavy flows, panic attacks, and racing thoughts) are often tied to estrogen dominance, gut disruption, and hidden infections. The good news? Addressing them early can reverse or prevent Hashimoto's, hypothyroidism, and even other autoimmune conditions for this generation and beyond. You'll walk away with hope and practical insights, including why Hashimoto's in teenagers is rising and how simple steps can protect future health. 3 Key Takeaways You'll Learn: How hormonal menstrual issues in teens signal estrogen dominance—the hidden driver behind 80% of autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism. The gut-infection-hormone connection and why fixing leaky gut and clearing infections can calm symptoms fast and prevent chronic illness. There is always a deeper story behind emotional eating, and in this episode Inna and guest Lisa Schlosberg open up the layers most people never connect to food. They explore the moments when you eat without hunger, the childhood patterns that shaped your sense of safety, and the reasons your body may turn to food even when your mind insists you are “fine.” What begins as a conversation about eating quickly becomes a conversation about emotional wiring, nervous system responses, and the parts of you that learned to cope long before you had words for it.Lisa shares her own experience of losing 150 pounds and discovering that the harder work had nothing to do with calories or willpower. It was learning how to feel feelings she spent years avoiding. It was realizing food had been her protection, her comfort, and her armor. Together, she and Inna talk about why emotional hunger feels real, why you can't solve an emotional problem with a physical solution, and how self compassion and internal safety begin to shift lifelong patterns around eating. They also explore the small, often unnoticed triggers that shape your relationship with food. Clean plate conditioning. Scarcity wiring. Eating in front of screens. The need for stimulation. The pull toward comfort when you are overwhelmed. The instinct to stay “strong” at the cost of your own emotional expression. And for many with Hashimoto's, the way growing up without validation creates a lifelong habit of seeking comfort and reassurance outside of yourself. This episode is a grounded, deeply human look at emotional eating, inner safety, and the process of gently rewriting the relationship you have with food. Fasting is everywhere these days, but most traditional fasting approaches are too harsh when you have Hashimoto's. Long stretches without food can feel destabilizing, draining, and completely unrealistic for a thyroid that is already under stress. However there is a different approach called fasting mimicking that creates the deeper cellular benefits of fasting while you are still eating real food. Fasting mimicking has been heavily researched for decades and is designed to activate the same fasting pathways that support things like metabolism, energy, longevity, and overall cellular renewal. Instead of pushing the body into stress, it uses precise nutrients that keep the fasting response going while still providing nourishment, which makes it far more compatible with the needs of someone living with Hashimoto's. It also offers an approachable way to support weight, inflammation, and metabolic health without cutting calories to extremes or spiking cortisol. This is the kind of information that changes how you think about fasting altogether and incredibly relevant if regular fasting has ever made you feel worse instead of better. In this episode, Antonio explores the complex biology of thyroid hormone production, conversion, and regulation—highlighting how deiodinase enzymes modulate hormone activity at the tissue level and why that matters for interpreting lab results. He discusses the shortcomings of relying solely on TSH as a marker of thyroid function, the ongoing debate around combination therapy with T3 and T4 versus standard T4 treatment, and how genetics, tissue sensitivity, and individual variability influence thyroid hormone metabolism. The conversation also examines how hypothyroidism affects energy, mood, cognition, and longevity; why some patients remain symptomatic despite "normal" labs; and how future research could reshape treatment paradigms. We discuss: How the thyroid produces, stores, and activates hormones like T4 and T3 to finely regulate thyroid activity [2:45]; How fasting alters thyroid hormones to conserve energy [12:45]; Action of the deiodinases: how D1, D2, and D3 enzymes control the activation and inactivation of thyroid hormones [19:15]; The normal function of thyroid hormone and the roles of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, and deiodinases in maintaining hormonal balance [23:30]; Why understanding thyroid physiology is essential for proper diagnosis and treatment of hypothyroidism [33:45]; Testing for thyroid hormones: understanding free vs. total levels, the limitations of current T3 assays, best practices, and more [36:00]; Genetic and sex-based variability in thyroid hormone regulation and their limited clinical significance [43:45]; Hyperthyroidism: causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment options [46:00]; Hypothyroidism: diagnosis and autoimmune causes of hypothyroidism [56:30]; More on hypothyroidism: diagnostic biomarkers, antibody patterns, and non-autoimmune presentations [1:05:00]; Thyroid hormone replacement therapy [1:15:15]; More on thyroid replacement strategies: exploring the evidence gaps, mortality signals, effects on lipids, and more [1:28:00]; Hypothyroidism basics: causes, antibody implications (including pregnancy), and how to make the diagnosis before choosing therapy [1:35:15]; Thyroid medication: compounded controlled-release T3, brand name versus generic, and what Antonio prescribes to newly diagnosed hypothyroid patients [1:42:45]; Redefining treatment success: why normalizing TSH isn't always enough for patients with hypothyroidism [1:54:45]; Case studies: analysis of two unusual cases of thyroid disease [1:57:00]; Dangers of supplementing with high levels of iodine, and female-specific risk of thyroid disease [2:05:45]; Case study of a patient who presents with elevated TSH but no symptoms [2:09:30]; How future research could reshape treatment, and Antonio's new book called "Rethinking Hypothyroidism" [2:13:15]; and More.
