I find out who's eating my fruit and I moan about the mess I made digging trenches. A lovely morning
I'm back on the garden which looks more like a bombsite thanks to a week with a mini excavator.
I've lost some seedlings because I didn't pay close enough attention. On the other hand we have five new kittens! Miaow. Weeding today and there's a digger coming…. Your twice weekly visit to a Cotswold garden is here. Ten minutes, zone out. #slowpodcast
Tonight I do the first shoutouts thank you so much to everyone who listens I hope you continue to tolerate my ramblings. We spot deer and I talk more mowing whilst on a wander round the field with a Baileys.
A lovely morning on the allotment with the ducks the chickens and masses and masses of growth. One of our “kittens” who isn't really a kitten anymore is having babies of her own. The sun is out and it's blue skies. Good morning.
The weather has warmed up and everything green is growing ridiculously quickly. A quick recap this Thursday morning and we're off the races with season 3 of the podcast!
Cold frosty bright, cannot get any better! Welcome to Monday morning !
It's the first morning at the new chicken shed. The hens are discombobulated and so am I. You can see the build here instagram.com/bobsdotgarden. Please go have a look and subscribe. ❤️
I love logging. The process of felling, chopping and splitting your logs for your fire is one I find extremely cathartic! Join me this morning in the logshed!
Good morning! Back for season 3, so full of potential. Will there be Purple Sprouting? Will there be sprouts at all! Chickens back in full effect!
DEFRA have imposed chicken lockdown again thanks to the bird flu outbreak. It was windy last night and I lost some glass in the greenhouse. Coffee this morning and I'm still in the yellow sleeping bag.
We've got a cockerel. Hello it has been a while, a friend offered me his cockerel and I thought why not. Cockadoodledoo!
This is from last week when for about 24 hours the garden morphed into the Kalahari. Very hot indeed. Lovely!
GOOD EVENING. An evening stroll around the house tonight, not brought you much evening content of late but it's a lovely time to be out after dusk after such a hot day. I go off on a traditional rant. It's back to basics. Wade in.
Morning everyone, listen to the grasshoppers making a racket or are the crickets? I'm in the meadow drinking a coffee out of my mug and taking you for a walk. Wake up!
An abnormally lively podcast. Take pleasure listening to the hens peck away at their feeder and find out how I manage a broody bird. Mid-podcast I find out we have red mite in the coop and I plan a trip to see the chicken experts.Obviously I also have a moan, today about my health. Enjoy!
I've had three days away from the garden and I've come back to what feels like a jungle.

We've started selling our eggs round the village. This is great news and may offset the cost of these birds somewhat. I try not to forget I've got eggs in my pockets.
I wrap my tree fern after the first frost, not a great time to do it. A day late and a dollar short as usual.
Love getting my hands mucky in the mornings. I ramble on about how I once grew £3 carrots and talk through why I've built 8 no-dig beds for this years vegetables and flowers.
Find out how the hedge has performed over the summer - hint, not great - and I walk round the garden to start yet another fire.
It's great to be back! Lots going on, some traditional allotmenteering and the weather is beeeautiful.
It's the end of season one! Thanks for lending me your ears. I return home from holiday to find a jungle, the dog does a poo and a pigeon scares the life out of me. It's all happening.

A lovely podcast from my favourite place in the country. Now I'm off for a swim.

A really rambling one this evening. Round a campfire I discuss flowers vs veg and try to ascertain how much each one of my carrots cost. Hint, I think it's about three quid.
Funny how we've spent the last two years cooped up together and now everyone in the uk wants to go camping, cooping themselves up in a smaller space!
The first proper offsite podcast, clifftop in Pembrokeshire!
