With living in a world powered by social media, we have a tendency to abandon the person behind the screen— us. And that's what this mini-series is about. “Don't be too hard on yourself” they say. “You'll figure it out” they say. Oh, let's not forget the infamous statement - “be content with your portion”. But how can we do that living in such intense grind culture? Honestly, I'm not too sure. But let's figure this out together, while addressing the question that haunts us all - “So..what are you doing with your life right now?”.

“Enjoy the ride” is what God whispered in my ear as I was at church on New Years Eve of 2021 asking for a word for the new year. 2022 brought a lot of things. Some things expected and hoped for. But other things I wasn't prepared for at all. Now as I look back—yes. It was a ride. But not the ride I would've assumed. But more like the ride I needed.

You agree to go on a weekend trip to Cabo with 6 of your closest friends. But the catch is, you'll never return home. In fact, you get murdered by those very friends. Come to find out, the sole purpose of the trip was to get you killed. While you're getting assaulted, your other friends who can step in, don't. And all you see is the flash coming from their phones. So much pain, confusion, and betrayal fill your body. And just as your friends planned, you die. What happened? What'd you miss? - It's my hope that justice will be served, and served quickly, for Shanquella Robinson.

The Selfless King. A king who put others before himself. A king who taught us what true leadership looks like. A king who impacted the world until he couldn't. A king who fought until the end. Chadwick, this one's for you. We honor you.

What happens when the purity culture formula has you waiting longer than you intended, or even were promised? You've taken all the courses, read all the books, wore the ring, and swore to wait until marriage to have sex. But yet, you're Boaz still hasn't came yet. And now you're confused and mad at God because the idol you made out of performance failed you. Now what?

I know your probably expecting your average “Christian” response to this whole situation. Well this ain't that.

The word perfectionism is an often used term thrown here and there. Most would probably say “well I just like things done right”. Mmm not quite. Let's talk about rejection, abandonment, and self-sabotage. Let's get down to the real issue.

They can't see you flinch or slip. Because they'll automatically view you as less-than and you don't want that. So, the plan is for you to only show up polished. But you quickly realize the weight of having everyone's approval is impossible. The “fake it till you make it” mindset didn't work after all.

You're always available for everyone but yourself. You disregard your emotions & feelings and toss them to the side as if they're meaningless. Meanwhile you lose yourself in the process. And you think setting boundaries is abandonment. Well, I'm here to debunk all of that.

You're walking in your purpose. You're doing your thing for the Kingdom. You're unlearning those unhealthy & ungodly things you were exposed to or experienced. Life's great. But then you hear God say “Resolve where you come from.” *skirrrrr* Wait, hold up, hold up. Huh? I already did…I think.

Uh oh. The time has finally come for you to look the person whose hurt you in the eyes and say what you've been holding in for so long. But wait - what are you going to say? Curse them or pray for them? Expect an apology or clarity? Dare I ask: Is forgiveness even in the picture? What I'm saying is this: When healing is available, will you jump in?

Ok so boom. You get on an elevator with a bunch of people and God tells you to specifically go to the top floor. The higher you go, the number of people in the elevator lessens. So much so, that now you're by yourself. Suddenly, the elevator begins to shake and lights flicker. You cry out to God, and He says “Follow my voice. Keep going higher”. In that moment, would you view God as a Keeper or a monster?

The curtain is about to go up…are you in position? Are you aware of the part you have to play? In this episode, we practically break down 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 and what that means for us as believers. We learn that there's no “hierarchy of works” that places us above or beneath anyone. We're all called, we're all needed, and we're all loved.
