SHOW NOTES: On this show…we're talking about how to stop rushing toward “what's next” and start enjoying the ride. Have you ever caught yourself racing through life, so focused on the finish line that you barely notice the scenery around you? It's easy to fall into a pattern of “when I get there, then I'll be happy,” only to find that there keeps moving further away. Whether it's the next promotion, the next milestone, or just the next weekend, we're often living for the future—and missing the now. In this episode, we'll explore what it means to slow down and actually enjoy the journey. We'll talk about how to balance ambition with presence, how to check in with yourself along the way, and how to set future goals that honor where you are today. The road may be long, but it's filled with meaning—if only we'll pause to take it all in. Why are we always in such a hurry to “get there”? Wherever there may be—financial security, a relationship milestone, a certain job title—we often place so much pressure on the end goal that we forget to live on the way to it. It's like being on a beautiful scenic drive, but instead of taking in the views, you're glued to the GPS. Focused. Determined. Unavailable. This urgency often stems from our culture's obsession with productivity and achievement. From a young age, we're taught to aim high, set goals, and never stop climbing. And while ambition can be a healthy motivator, it can also become a thief—stealing joy from our present moments and creating anxiety about a future we can't fully control. Have you ever reached a long-awaited milestone only to feel let down afterward? Like the buildup was more thrilling than the arrival? That's a sign you might be living for the next thing instead of enjoying the current one. When we're constantly chasing what's ahead, we miss opportunities for connection, reflection, and simple joy that exist right now. The truth is, the destination is only part of the journey. And ironically, the real transformation happens along the way—in the delays, the detours, the conversations, and the quiet moments of self-discovery. So let's slow down for a second. What if you already are becoming who you're meant to be? What if rushing is keeping you from noticing how far you've actually come? There's nothing wrong with wanting more. Goals give our lives direction, motivation, and meaning. But if we're not careful, they can also become blinders—blocking out everything that isn't the finish line. Ambition says, “Keep going, you're not there yet.” Presence asks, “But aren't you here now?” Goals Are Not a Destination, They Are an Invitation Mindfulness and Being Present in the Moment For People Feeling Behind In Life CHALLENGE: Take a breath and look around—what beauty, progress, or peace might you be missing in your race to the finish line? Give yourself permission to slow down and be fully present for the moments that are happening right now. I Know YOU Can Do It!
In this episode, I share the unexpected story of how I manifested a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Peru—a journey I didn't plan, but one that feels deeply aligned with where my soul is meant to go. I originally thought I'd be spending my summer in Italy, enjoying the European sunshine. But the universe had other plans. Instead, I was invited to a 6-day Ayahuasca retreat deep in the Amazon jungle, guided by shamans at the Arkana Spiritual Centre. A complete shift from what I envisioned, yet everything in me knows this is exactly where I need to be. In this episode, I explore: How a planned European holiday unexpectedly turned into a spiritual retreat in Peru The intuitive nudges and synchronicities that guided me to say yes What it means to surrender when life reroutes your path Why discomfort often signals expansion and transformation How I'm preparing emotionally, mentally, and spiritually for this plant medicine journey This is a conversation about trusting timing, listening to intuition, and allowing life to unfold in ways that may not make sense at first—but ultimately lead to deeper healing and clarity. My journey begins at the end of July, and I'll be sharing more reflections from the Amazon as they unfold. ENJOY THE RIDE!

Holly Hull's journey as the founder and CEO of Corporate Peaks Group reveals exactly that transformative alchemy.Holly joins us to share how losing her father to a freak wave accident fundamentally reshaped her outlook on life and business. Rather than being crushed by grief, she channeled this devastating experience into a Carpe Diem philosophy that drives everything she does. "Buckle up" became her mantra – a warning that the journey ahead would be challenging but beautiful.Within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events) industry, Corporate Peaks stands apart through its human-first philosophy. From sunset hikes up Mount Ouzon to carefully crafted team-building experiences, her company creates environments where creativity flourishes and genuine connection happens. The most surprising insight? How Holly's business philosophy directly reflects her personal values. She protects her Wednesdays for family time, leaving her phone behind to be fully present with her children. Michael Kelly, portfolio manager and global head of multi-asset for PineBridge Investments, says the market is like Star Trek, "going into a world where no one's been before," seeing new technologies like artificial intelligence become dominant, observing changes in geo-political lines and watching profits continue a trend of being high but going higher as the United States keeps getting stronger relative to the rest of the world. As a result, so long as growth continues, "the markets will come through ... so keep the seatbelt on and enjoy the ride." Author Tim Falconer discusses his new book, “Windfall: Viola MacMillan and Her Notorious Mining Scandal," reviving a tale of stock fraud from the 1960s that feels like a precursor to illegal actions seen in the markets today. Plus Jennifer White discusses J.D. Power research showing what banking and savings consumers are doing trying to get a handle on — and goose the financial performance of — accounts that seem stuck in neutral.

In an electrifying turn of events at the City Ground, Nottingham Forest clinched a dramatic 2-1 victory against Aston Villa, propelling them to the fourth spot in the Premier League standings. The match, which was tense and tactical for the majority, saw Aston Villa take the lead with a well-crafted goal from Jhon Durán, who has been in remarkable form this season, netting his 10th Premier League goal. This lead seemed to hold firm until the dying minutes of the game. However, the narrative of the match took a sharp turn when Nikola Milenković, with a powerful header in the 87th minute, equalized for Forest, showcasing his aerial prowess and setting the stage for a thrilling finale. The drama didn't end there. As the clock ticked into stoppage time, substitute Anthony Elanga, with a composure beyond his years, side-footed the ball home to complete the comeback, sending the City Ground into raptures. This late surge not only secured all three points for Forest but also highlighted their resilience and tactical adaptability under pressure. Forest's recent form at home, coupled with Villa's away game struggles, played a significant role in this outcome. Forest's victory was not just a testament to their fighting spirit but also marked their 5,000th match in the top four tiers of English football, a historic milestone that adds to the lore of this comeback. Meanwhile, for Villa, this loss adds to a troubling trend of conceding late goals, having now lost five times in the 90th minute or later in the Premier League. This match was a reminder of the unpredictable nature of football, where the narrative can shift dramatically in moments, turning defeat into victory against all odds. #nffc #astonvilla #premierleague Learn more about your ad choices. This episode is so full of wisdom. Did you know that your subconcious mind controls 95% of your daily activity? "And it's pre-programmed with paradigms which are habits, thoughts, and beliefs that reside in the subconscious mind. So 5% consciously says, I want to do something different but 95% goes back to anything that's been programmed into us." "I sometimes use the analogy of the giving tree. And a stump of a woman is someone who takes care of everybody else first." "So the first thing you have to do to be a really good parent is look inside and say, Okay how am I not showing up in my power." We have such a powerful, sincere and inspiring guest today. So buckle up and enjoy the ride. Shawn Feurer is a Universal Mindset Disruptor with 20+ years of experience. With the brand new year comes fresh opportunities to rise up for truth. The beast cannot hide. Trump, transparency, tenacity, turbulence, terror and the truth. The demon mark is in your phone. Light must shine to reveal the true reality. Some people just don't have eyes to see or ears to hear. The grand chessboard of control. Narrative building is like layers on an onion. People's letters to the military are paying off. They think they will get away with it. The Epstein revival is a rehash of old news. It's all covered in the 2019 article. Demons feel comfortable in their own skin. A covid resurgence and the tenant laws just passed. All time high for evictions. African cease fire talks scuttled for technical reason. This is a very big deal. It's a horn of land for pirates. Turkey is making raids against Israeli intel agents. Political officials are being killed. The turmoil hasn't missed Asia. Earthquake aid plane mystery. Points of knowledge and fact will fuel more J6 revelations. NARA law suit has settled. Strange suicides are in the news. New voting procedures deserve consideration. It's not complicated. Missing laundry socks and the truth comparison. MSM drama queens provide stress. Don't let them. It's a roller coaster thru history, so throw your arms in the air and enjoy the ride.
