Application: You are freed from the law in order to freely serve God in Christ.
“The Crux of the Matter” (Galatians 3:10-14) I. Those who rely on the law for justification are cursed (Galatians 3:10-12). A. You would have to obey the law perfectly (3:10), B. Justification is not by the law, but by faith (3:11). C. The law and faith are incompatible (3:12). II. Those who depend upon the cross of Christ for their justification are blessed (Galatians 3:13-14). A. Christ redeemed those who believe from the curse of the law, taking the curse for us (3:13). B. Those who believe receive the blessing of Abraham (3:14).
