Pastor Neil will continue the - From Death To Life Sermon Series with the next message titled: "Do You Love Me?" from John 21:15-17 If we demonstrate our love for God in our obedience to his commands, then it seems appropriate to apply this same question to ourselves, “Do you love me?” This question provides opportunities for both conviction in reflection as well as hope in redemption. How does our identity as loved and redeemed by God reflect our response to love him in return? Loving God correctly requires wholehearted and uncompromising devotion to him and his commands, without reservation or dissection. Like Peter, we need regular reminders of God's provision and our dependence on him for all things. Just like Peter, even in our stumbling denials and sin, Jesus loves us and provides an opportunity for restoration of relationship and commissioning for the use of our gifts in service. God's love is assured, but sometimes we need to hear ourselves say it aloud to remind ourselves that we love God and are called for a purpose, even if it is through the redemptive fire of suffering and restoration.
Pastor Neil will continue the - "From Death To Life" sermon series with a message from Genesis 50: 15-21 titled: "Why is this happening to me?" There is nothing like gathering together as one family to lift up the mighty name of our God. No matter what we may be going through, God is still good, faithful and worthy of all that we can give him. The enemy will try to tell you differently! Don't let him steal an opportunity to come and join together and worship the one who is worthy of it all. We hope to see you tomorrow! Psalms 145:3 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. Jeremiah 10:6 No one is like you, Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Pastor Neil will be bringing a message from John 13:1-5. - Serve those who are against us. - Pride & stubbornness keeps you from being clean. - Be an example. - Be a contributor not just a consumer.

Pastor Neil will continue the Letters to the Church Sermon Series with the next message titled: "The Lukewarm Church" from Revelation 3:14-17 The next letter we will look at - is the letter to the church of Laodicea. The letter to the church at Laodicea is the harshest of the seven letters to the churches in Asia Minor. By His indictment of their “deeds” (Revelation 3:15), Jesus makes it clear that this church is dying, if not already dead. Outwardly, they seemed to be flourishing. The members of this church saw themselves as “rich” and self-sufficient, but the Lord saw them as “wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked” (verse 17). Their lukewarm, indifferent faith led to half-hearted service. The lukewarm are those who claim to know God but live as though He doesn't exist. They go to church and practice a form of religion, but their inner state is one of complacency. Are we living according to our faith, or has our fervor cooled to the point of being tepid? “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves”. It's possible for believers to be indifferent, lazy, or unmotivated. And it's possible for unbelievers to pretend to be religious and call themselves a “church.” We must never allow ourselves to get to this point and we must heed the warning Jesus gave the church of Laodicea. What was that warning? Listen to find out!
Pastor Neil continues the Letters To The Church series with The Loving Church based out of Revelations 3:7-8.
Pastor Neil continues the Letters To The Church Sermon Series with the next message titled: The Dead Church from Revelation 3: 1-4 In this scripture we will find the next letter will be to the Church Of Sardis. The church, by definition, is to be alive. It is a place where God lives, where Christ lives, where the Holy Spirit lives — where believers are alive. A church is to be the fellowship of those who possess eternal life. Not the church in Sardis. This church is dead. The life and power of the Holy Spirit is not present. The illuminating of the Holy Spirit is not there. The enabling of the Holy Spirit is not there. There's no godly leadership there. Without the Holy Spirit and without godly leadership, the church was dead. It was a church dominated by the flesh, dominated by sin, dominated by unbelief, mostly populated by the unregenerate. Though, there would be some believers there who were indifferent and some who were faithful. So what does our Lord say to a dead church? A church that has succumbed to the pressure of the world; that has left its first love like Ephesus, courted the world like Pergamum, tolerated sin and even advocated it like Thyatira?

Pastor Neil will continue the Letters To The Church Sermon Series with the next message titled - "The Church That Tolerates Sin" from Rev 2:18-21 We will look at the fourth letter, which was to the church of Thyatira. In this letter and message, we must learn that as the church and as christians, we must never get caught up in the world's idea that “tolerance” is more important than anything else. It's easy to do — there's so much pressure from the world around us. We have to ask God to help us today to hold to what HIS word says, in the midst of that pressure and not tolerate sin. — We must continue to pray for our church; that we as a church body would continue to believe and teach His word, and never tolerate the intolerable in God's church. Jesus told the church at Thyatira, I know that all of you are not involved in the heresy and practice of this false prophetess Jezebel. And if you're not, then hold fast to the truth and what you have until I come. Keep on holding to the right doctrine that you believe. Keep on practicing a life of Biblical holiness. Don't compromise like so many others around you are. Jesus tells them: to the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations — I will also give that one the morning star.
Pastor Neil will continue the "Letters To The Church" Sermon Series with a message titled - The Cost Of Compromise from Revelation 2: 12-16. From this letter to the church at Pergamum we will see how they resisted persecution, but they began to fall to seduction. With overwhelming cultural pressure around them, they began to compromise. They sought satisfaction in physical things, and it cost them greatly in spiritual things. The Pergamum church faced the same choice that every similar church faces. It could repent and receive all the blessedness of eternal life in the glory of heaven or it could refuse to repent and face the terrifying reality of having the Lord Jesus Christ declare war on it. They would see that if they maintained the path of compromise, that it would ultimately lead to judgment. We pray that we would be a church that takes a strong stand for God's truth, refusing to compromise with the world.
Pastor Neil will continue the "Letters To The Church" Sermon Series with the next message titled - Enduring The Storm from Revelation 2:8-11 Through this message we will hear about the suffering of the Church Of Smyrna and the Lord's message to the church: Jesus tells Smyrna to hang in there. To not lose faith or hope. “Be thou faithful unto death” he urges them “and I will give you a crown of life” It's easy to be faithful to God when everything is going our way. To trust Him in the light. But none of this was true for Smyrna. Nothing was going their way and darkness shrouded them like an oppressive cloud. It was at that moment; when being faithful was hard that Jesus told them “I know what you're going through, but hang in there. Be faithful unto death, and do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. More often than not in the world we live in, it's not popular to be a Christian. We can be laughed at, ridiculed, and mocked for who we are and what we believe. But here's the thing; Jesus says, I know what you're going through but hang in there, be faithful even unto death, I have a crown with your name on it, waiting on the other side. Be faithful! Endure the storm!
Pastor Neil will begin a brand new sermon series called "Letters To The Church" - A study from Revelation. You don't want to miss this! Jesus authored seven letters to the early church. By exploring these letters, we can hear what he is speaking to his church today.
Pastor Neil will continue the Things That Last Sermon Series with the next message from the Lord titled: "Eternal Heaven" this will come from John 14:1-2 Where will your eternal home be? Who will be going? And what will your eternal home be like? As a Christian you do not belong to this world. Your true home awaits you in heaven with God. Your eternal home will be amazing. And best of all, it will never end. It will be your true home forever! “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
Pastor Neil will continue the "Things That Last" sermon series with the next message from Luke 19 titled: Eternal Hell. Hell as a eternal conscious torment is an uncomfortable topic, and people tend to turn away from it. Obviously, this topic is one of the most difficult to face, but we cannot avoid doing so. There is no future escape; the escape is now, today! Jesus died on the cross in our place that we might have eternal life. Hell is also eternal, but it does not have to be life. It is, escapable! You need only to turn away from the idea of your own goodness and righteousness and good works, and in faith, repent of your sins and trust in Jesus. See Him as your Savior.
Pastor Neil will continue the "Things That Last" sermon series with a word from the Lord out of Psalms 119:89-93, titled: God's Eternal Word. Psalms 119:89 Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. When God speaks a word, it is established forever!
