Many people feel awkward during sales interactions. A great boss can make a significant difference in corporate life. Transitioning to entrepreneurship requires careful planning and confidence. Sales training can help individuals become more comfortable in their roles. Building genuine connections can lead to long-term business relationships. Sales is an honorable profession that serves to help others. A lot of it's confidence, right? People have self-limiting beliefs around mixing business with personal. In the tradition of Dale Clark's memorable fan publications, comes the Dark Shadows Podcast of Questions & Answers volume THREE! In this installment, Penny Dreadful addresses the following questions: How did Roxanne become a vampire in the unaltered 1840? Why isn't Chris Jennings' brother Tom also werewolf? Was Angelique really at Collinwood in the original run of 1897, as we see in a flashback? Is it an error that silver bullets can be used to destroy vampires on Dark Shadows? How can Barnabas be rendered unconscious in a car accident if he's a vampire? Why does Josette's music box play two different themes? What happened to the blackmail money that Elizabeth Collins Stoddard deposited into a Swiss bank account for Jason McGuire? When the ghost of Sarah Collins says, “Those who were here before have come back, and they're angry, and there's someone in this house they want to destroy,” to whom is she referring? The episode ends with promotion for other Dark Shadows and horror-related podcasts, shows, books, and projects. After 4 years of extended drought, spring and summer rains finally provide relief to the US and Canadian prairies, but what does it mean for the fall flight? Dr. Scott Stephens joins co-hosts Chris Jennings and Dr. Mike Brasher for a mid-July update on breeding habitat conditions across the prairies and boreal forest. Because much of the rain came after ducks had settled and managers expect a relatively small breeding population count, waterfowlers probably shouldn't expect a banner crop this fall. Nevertheless, renesting and brood survival should benefit, and wetland conditions heading into fall will be better than they've been in years.www.ducks.org/DUPodcast
Thanks to a newly approved pintail harvest strategy, waterfowl hunters in the Lower 48 may soon have the opportunity for a 3-pintail bag limit for the first time since 1997. In this June roundup, Chris Jennings and Dr. Mike Brasher provide updates on the new strategy and what it might mean for hunters, and when we should expect to learn more. New information on spring habitat conditions and the continued spread of avian flu in dairy cattle is also provided, and we get a virtual sneak peek at the New Guns & Gear segment in the forthcoming Ducks Unlimited magazine.www.ducks.org/DUPodcast
