I'm not judging anyone here today because I know most of us are guilty of this. We've had people we envied or wondered about their success story. How did they scale academically, career wise, in business or in any venture that's of interest to you? We seem to only see their glamour and success not the struggles (if there is) that birthed these results. So, we keep wondering why life is this easy for them while we're fighting with our goals here.Somehow, out of curiosity we ask, yet we get nothing. I've asked successful individuals how they made it and most times I leave confused. I hear the same motivation with no practical step as to how they scaled through. The internet only offers little because all we see on social media is a pretty face with a wide grin, and this makes us wonder, how come?So the question, are they hiding anything from us? As a successful individual, do you feel unnecessarily pressured? Why do we not seem satisfied with the responses? Are we being unnecessarily suspicious? I'm curious and I know you are too!Listen to this episode as we answer these questions and discover the untold stories and secrets to our success.Leave your comments here on the CheapTalk group on Facebook. Age seems to be an important factor in decision making. So many people including me have been limited by the societal template of being too young or too old for achieving our dreams. We ask how young is too young or old is too old in chasing our dreams? A lot of people have defied the odds of age to chase their dreams and today, they're telling the story. You know, the intriguing thing, the same society applauds their results. This situation brings us to discuss in this episode how to live above the questionable rule of age.---Join me as I discuss with Eno Sam, one of the youngest authors making waves in Nigeria. She has a strong community on Facebook, BEWA and has spoken in many writing conferences.--She tells us that age is not a barrier but most importantly, how!--Listen and drop your comments. Everyday, we wake up to face the full consequences of government actions and inactions. Here in Nigeria, we're not left out of the pains we've been subjected to by our leaders. Somehow, we've lost hope for a changed nation. This then makes everyone of us settle for what the government offers and live by them. Seeing these realities, would it be cheap talk for someone to say that "the government made me"I'm sure you must be raising an alarm right now. I can't be serious this time around. Who has not been a victim of bad leadership from the home, to school, government parastatals or even religious organizations. Who pushed that promising young man to steal, the lady into prostitution, the child into malpractices or the government worker to collect bribes? Is the government totally to blame?Join me in this episode of the Cheap Talk podcast as we answer these questions. You can listen on Jamit.fm, iTunes and all platforms.Don't forget to join our Facebook group @cheap talk to be part of the conversation.

It can be very terrible when everyone around you rubs it on your face that you are overweight. It is even worse when you find it difficult to shed off the fat after countless trials. It's a world of the slimmer, the better so a lot of people visit the gym most times not to keep fit but to alter their physical appearance. The question is how do we distinguish between our body make up and weight issues? There are certain habits that can encourage weight gain/loss. Moreso, the rate to which our body responds to these things differs. Therefore, the earlier we understand the dynamics when it comes to our body system, the better for us.So, we ask, why do people want to lose weight and why do they seem to get frustrated with their weight loss plan?Listen to this episode of Cheap Talk as Princess Amarachi takes you on a journey to breaking the weight loss limitations and living above societal views.
We are back on promises today but from a different angle. Are there things men just say casually or is it that women are just too serious with what they hear? How many ridiculous promises have you ever heard from a guy? I call them ridiculous because when we come back to our senses we begin to wonder how we actually believed them in the first place. In a bit to sustain a relationship, the man can go overboard with his promises but what is the lady supposed to do? How does she react to these promises at least to keep her sanity because some men, have got all the sugar-coated tongue you can think of.Listen to this episode of Cheap Talk podcast as Banji (@Banjioflagos) joins me to talk from the male perspective answering some of the questions in our relationships with the opposite sex.Listen to more on Jamit.fm
On this episode of Cheap Talk we discuss on relationships & sex.Sometimes, we get to push the sex to action without our words. Ever heard of sexting? When we talk about sex with our partners, do we go as far as discussing how incredibly good or bad in most cases good we will be in bed? Sometimes, this can build up an unrealistic expectation which might disappoint later on.People get disappointed when they finally get married. Why you may ask? Because of how deep they've gone with over hyped situation. It's good to be open in your communication, but going overboard makes it "Cheap Talk".How necessary is it for a relationship, especially when both parties agree on abstinence? Some things are better left practical if you ask me! Listen to this episode “Great on phone, bad in bed” as Dolly (the Host of Red Card Podcast) shares her experience and stance on sexting. I'm so excited!Listen, download and share at jamit.fm or on your podcast player.Subscribe and drop your reviews on iTunes too.
Being honest about a situation can be discouraging at times. You can even be encouraged to be truthful, as there won't be any punishment attached.I recently watched a skit where the young lady was slapped for truthfully answering a question. Yes! The parents asked her to be truthful. It might be comical, but this reality for some people. How do we encourage honesty without making people feel scammed with letting out?Listen to this episode of Cheap Talk podcast to learn how to build confidence in people to trust you with the truth everyone is scared to hear.Don't you want to know the truth about an underlying mystery? Wouldn't you do anything to dig out that information that's been hidden from you? How desperate can you be to quench your curiosity? And are you sure you're ready for its consequences? We have not built enough trust in people to make them want to say the truth. Maybe we have disappointed them in the past when they tell us the truth. Ever thought of why a child can comfortably tell his peers a secret and not his parents? One thing is that when you are empathetic and concerned with people's feelings, they will be more open to you. Also, how you react after cajoling someone to tell you the truth, determines if they will tell it to you or someone else next time.Truth is pain to the person who has to say it, though it might be bitter to the hearer. Not subscribed to Cheap Talk podcast yet, you can on iTunes, Jamit and any of your podcasts player.Listen Jamit.fm , download, share and drop your comments.I'll be waiting for you to keep saying it to Do it Right.
