How We GiveGiving is primarily about honor. Genesis 28:22.TYPES OF GIVING- [ ] The lords tithe. Leviticus 27:30, numbers 18:21- [ ] The festival tithe. Deuteronomy 14:22- [ ] The tithe of the poor.THINGS TO NOTE ABOUT GIVING THE NEW TESTAMENT- [ ] The New Testament giving is always sacrificial.- [ ] It must be planned for. 1corinthians 16:1-2- [ ] Under the New Testament giving is our responsibility. And we have a responsibility to: God and the church, and also to those who labour over you. Galatians 6:6,1corinthians 9:11.

GOD IS OUR REWARD AND THE REWARDER.Hebrews 11:6 HOW DOES GOD REWARD. The goodness of God serves two purposes; It leads to repentance ( Romans 2:4). God's goodness is a reminder of what our eternal reward is . When we come to the knowledge of God's goodness, then we find out that THE REWARD IS GOD. NOTE: we must understand that the everlasting reward is eternal life. Eternal life for a believer is about living forever with God. Mark 10:29-30.
RICH IN MERCY Mark 10:17-18 Heaven is not a place for good people; it is a place for saved people. Successfully keeping the ten commandments is not enough to meet God's righteous standard, which is far above the law. The law shows us our inadequacies and the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:19-20. God's righteousness is revealed through faith in Jesus, not the law. Romans 3:21-26 Through the mercy of God we are not consumed. Lamentations 3:21-23.
THE GOD MAN John 4:21-24 James 2:19. Jesus was at a time God and man.WHAT DOES SON OF GOD MEAN:1. It means he was first son of man. Matthew 24:30, John 1:12-132. Jesus was not selected to be God, neither did he grow into God-hood. He had to be God with us in order to be God in us. Luke 1:35.WHY WAS THE VIRGIN BIRTH IMPORTANT? 1. It shows that salvation ultimately comes from the lord. Genesis 3:15 2. The virgin birth made possible the uniting of both deity and humanity in one.

Greed isn't just about wanting more—it's about worshiping more. In this Sunday's sermon, we were reminded that greed is a form of idolatry because it takes our devotion, reverence, and value away from God and places them on material things (Colossians 3:5).
Never overestimate your strength—one of the strongest tools of discernment is knowing you can be deceived (John 8:44).• The enemy corrupts what God creates—lust is a distortion of what was meant to honor God.• Lust is a war—and victory comes when we partner with the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
We can tell what you value or tell what your treasure is by where your heart isThere are things you do that we can tell what you priorities are- We can tell what you worship by what you give your life to, what you give your all for- There are 3 things present in the expression of worship1. Reverence: as a child of God, having a sense of reverence is important. Nothing should be revered over GodA deep sense of respect for God2. Devotion: a deep sense of love and loyalty in the place of worship. Worship is seen is what you're devoted to3. Value: is a sense of importance for the object of worship.. you can't value anything else more than him.For worship to be complete, these 3 need to be present- You don't just worship God because they said you should, but because you see the importance of it.- The devil has very smart tactics to deceive you, showing you that you can achieve what you want without GodHe's very subtle about it- Whenever the devil tempts us he places you at the centre of it, to magnify yourself over GodHe doesn't put himself against God, he puts you against God- Pride is to exalt one's self. It goes beyond a sense of boastfulness, it is a cancer that makes you think you're self-sufficient, makes you think that you're the owner of yourself and your life.- There are 2 ways self will express itself1. Self-sufficiencyThe idea that you are sufficient without God, that you can do it by yourself. That is extremely dangerous. God did not design us to live without him2. Self obsessionA constant ungodly focus on yourselfI'm too small to be the center of my lifeThis is driven by the spirit of Self-sufficiency... this is where both high and low self-esteem come from.Your identity needs to be centered in Christ, because if its centered around anything else, when that thing crumbles who will you be?Focus on God and your low self-esteem will be dealt with, by himWhat other people think about you doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is what God thinks about you
Marriage is designed by God for union and companionship.- Unlike dating, which can end with a breakup, marriage is a lifelong covenant that cannot be easily undone.- Entering Marriage Ignorantly Is Dangerous.- A wrong marriage affects every aspect of life—faith, finances, family, and purpose.- Observation and Communication: 80% of what you learn about your partner comes from observation, and 20% from direct conversation.- Dating Is a Time for Evaluation: It is not about spotting flaws but about making informed decisions.- Understand your partner's financial habits, priorities, and spending culture.- Marriage requires spiritual alignment. Even believers with different doctrinal beliefs can struggle in marriage.- Disagreements are inevitable, but handling them wisely is crucial. Healthy relationships involve expressing thoughts, resolving conflicts, and maintaining peace.
Why the Church Addresses Relationships• The church addresses relationships because God cares about every aspect of your life, and poor relationship decisions can derail your spiritual growth.• The church's role is to equip you in all areas of life.• It is important to be discipled by the church rather than the world.• The world's mentorship in love often leads to insecurity and romanticizes drama.
