Preached during the 31st May 2026 Evening Session of the Christian Women's Universities Programme in Libreville, Gabon.
In this video, our global lead pastor, @Pastor Shola Okodugha, teaches how to recognize and overcome spiritual drought - a prolonged season of restlessness, dissatisfaction, inconsistency in spiritual devotion, and a feeling that your spiritual expression has become empty. Like the valley of dry bones, you may still have movement around you but feel disconnected from the life and power of God.Pastor Shola explains that adaptability can make us settle for what we have instead of pursuing the fullness of what God has prepared for us. When God wants to move a person forward, He often places knowledge in their path. Psalm 13:3 highlights the importance of having our eyes opened to see. Knowledge becomes a key because not every key opens every door - the right key must be identified and applied. He further identifies mercy, grace, favour, God's justice system, and knowledge as ways God reaches His people during seasons of drought. Spiritual drought can manifest as emptiness, disconnection from God, loss of spiritual expression, and a lack of results.Drawing from Amos 8:13, Leviticus 26:20, Exodus 17:1 - 3, and Psalm 63:1 - 2, Pastor Shola wraps up the teaching by indicating that drought can affect different areas of life, including the spiritual and material. Just as rain requires vaporization, condensation, and collection, fruitfulness also requires processes and participation. This message will help you:- Recognize the signs and causes of spiritual drought.- Identify the knowledge and spiritual keys needed for your season.- Break free from spiritual emptiness and disconnection.- Position yourself to experience God's mercy, grace, favor, and power.- Refuse to settle for less than God's intended fullness.Watch, reflect, and ask God to open your eyes to see. Drought is not your permanent condition - discover the right key, respond to God, and step into a season of refreshing and fruitfulness.ABOUT THE NEWWe are a people of love and excellence who are result-oriented, spirit-led, word-rooted, prayer-driven, and kingdom-conscious. The enemy does not show up with a straightforward fight. He works through temptation, accusation, deception, and idolatry, always angling to pull hearts away from the Lord. But no accusation can hold against those Christ has redeemed. The blood speaks a better word, and it speaks louder.Spiritual warfare begins with knowledge. The more deeply we are rooted in God's Word, the less ground deception has to stand on. And here is what changes everything: we do not fight to win. We fight from a victory already secured. Everything we stand on, Christ has already accomplished. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be reminded that they are not fighting for victory but from it.
What a way to kick off the Mid-Year Retreat! Pastor Nelson brought a message on salvation that cut deep and lifted high at the same time. Before we ever knew we needed saving, God already had a plan. Salvation is not man reaching up to God. It is God reaching down to us, drawing us, revealing our need, and making a way where there was none. The weight of sin is a debt no human effort could ever cancel. So God did what only He could do. He sent Christ as our Saviour, taking on what we owed so we could receive what we never deserved. Righteousness before God is not earned. It is granted through faith in Jesus, and everyone who believes and confesses Him as Lord receives the gift of salvation in full. That kind of grace does not stay silent. What we truly believe will always overflow into how we live and what we say. Believers carry the most important message in history, and we are called to proclaim it with boldness and without apology.Be stirred as you listen and share it with someone who needs to hear this today.
The Lion is a successful leader that thrives on structure. From vision, to planning, to strategy, this message takes us through the leadership traits of the Lion, which we must emulate, in order to assume our ‘lionic' status in God.
Boldness helps us to take a stand, and to dare anything, in order to fulfill the desire and pleasure of our master. In this message, we see several necessities of boldness that we must emulate, in order to assume our ‘lionic' status in God.
If we are truly lions, there is an anger, aggression and violence that we are to naturally posses. In this third part of the message, we see the qualities of a lion such as a healthy dose of anger, force, and an unshakable heart, that we are to emulate in order to assume our “lionic” status in God.
