Destiny Church Messages

This week we continue our series as we watch the Sabel's story about what God does in our lives when we are obedient to Him.

Jamie shares her story this week as the This Is My Story series debuts. In her story, we hear about how the enemy wants to use shame to defeat us. Pastor Kirk shares insights from the story of the woman caught in the act of adultery to discuss how Jesus sees us amidst our shame. Spoiler: He overcomes it!

In this week's message, Pastor Kirk looks at how to deal with the trouble that will come to any church as we do our part in fulfilling the Great Commission. God has a plan for this trouble and when we follow His plan, we will get to experience victory!

This week, we continue looking at the unity that formed in the early church as they did their part to go and make disciples of all nations. In this message, we look at what we can learn from them and why it is still so important for all of us to do our part as we do our part of the Great Commission.

This week we continue our “Here We Go” series with a message on serving. In this message, we look at how those early disciples began to fulfill their part of the Great Commission by serving and the gifts the Holy Spirit will give us when we step out and serve like they did.

A new series sets sail this week called Here We Go. In this series, we will study the Disciples' response to the Great Commission through the book of Acts as they began to make disciples of all nations. This week, Pastor Kirk looks at Jesus' instruction to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit and then we explore some reasons why we may not be experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives like we would like to.

This week, we welcome Vaushawn Johnson from Green Bay Adult & Teen Challenge as our guest speaker with an important Father's Day message. Vaushawn shares how the new Teen Challenge is coming along. These updates mean a lot to us because we have invested time, talent, treasure and prayer into this upcoming faith-based residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Our area needs a place like this, and we are so excited to see God work miracle after miracle to make it happen!

This week, Pastor Kirk continues Impact month with a look at the number of unreached people groups in our world today. The numbers are alarming, but thankfully, there is a plan! In this message we look at God's plan and how He wants to reach this world.

This week Pastor Kirk continues our Be Still series talking about Sabbath. In this message we look at how God promises to bless the Sabbath when we keep it holy and what those blessings could look like in our lives.

Pastor Sarah Gerbers continues the Be Still series sharing about silence and solitude. Is your life outrageously noisy? You aren't alone. Studies show that the normal life is full of noise that we are losing the value of slowing down and spending quiet time with God. This message will help you quiet the noise and give you space to practice engaging with God in the silence.

Pastor Kirk kicks off a new series this week. For many, this can be a busy time of year. End of school year, graduations, summer jobs, vacations, business is booming. You name it, we're all busy. But in the midst of the busy-ness, God calls for us to be still regularly. Specifically, God has a plan for rest and sabbath for our lives. Destiny Church celebrates 25 years of ministry and over these next three weeks, we'll reflect on what God has done. This week, we reflect on the religious strongholds that He has torn down in our area and how He made it possible for people to enter true relationship with Him.
