Doch was macht die Union nun? In this episode of HealthCert's The Aesthetic Shift podcast series, Kelly Beasy sits down with Dr Amanda Sabel, a GP and aesthetic practitioner from Western Australia, to share their advice on blending women's health with aesthetic medicine. Dr Sabel shares how her own experience navigating perimenopause became the catalyst for building a clinic where women's health is front and centre, and how she has combined this with her background in aesthetics to deliver holistic care for her patients. Together, Kelly and Dr Sabel explore: Why menopause and perimenopause remain under-recognised in clinical practice. The challenges of managing complex symptoms within standard consultation times. Practical ways GPs and cosmetic practitioners can introduce women's health services. The evolving evidence around hormone therapy, lifestyle, and laser-based treatments. If you are a GP or nurse practitioner looking to expand your scope and support women through all stages of life, this conversation offers insights into what is possible both clinically and professionally.

Joe Sabel started his career in the optical industry as a sales rep for Essilor. But his career took a quick turn (ultimately for the better) thanks to some blunt feedback he received from a client early on. From that moment, Joe decided he was going to become more than a salesperson, he wanted to become a resource from everyone he dealt with in the industry.Since then, Joe has become more and more heavily involved in optical industry all the way to point of becoming the owner of a well-known optical supply company, Western Optical Supply. In this conversation, in addition to Joe's entrepreneurial journey, we discuss some of the lessons he has learned through his 20 years of optical experience and advice that he can share of ECPs to elevate their businesses.Connect with Joe:WesternOptical.comJoe@westernoptical.comlinkedin.com/in/joe-sabel-8712558/Love the show? This is our 33rd episode, the fourteenth of our second season, and joining us to tell us his story is our first guest from Asia, English teacher Alan Gordon, who attended Carmel College from 1974 to ‘81. Alan grew up in North West London, where his family had moved from Edinburgh. After Carmel, he studied History and Politics at Queen Mary, and subsequently worked in finance. Twenty-five years ago, he moved to Osaka, where he teaches intensive pre-departure English to Japanese executives. He and his Balinese Hindu wife Ari have had two children. Hear Alan talk about his father's work with Sean Connery; asking during his interview where in the school the playground was; why he felt sorry for the boy whose parents drove a Jaguar; The Inbetweeners' Carmel connection; Vera Rosen's Florence Nightingale moment; tackling Rabbi Rosen's Volvo (in his driveway) and his ankle (on the football pitch); benching in the style of Elvis; and his proudest Carmel moment, at Arsenal. Thank you, Alan Gordon, for turning us again to Carmel days! Dedication: at Alan's request, this episode is dedicated to the memory of the late Sonia Sabel, a former French teacher and Girls' Housemistress at Carmel, who - in Alan's words - nourished him “with the milk of human kindness” and gave him and many others “a home from home”. For being there for him time and time again, and teaching him how to love life's smallest blessings, she resides deep in his heart forever. Mrs. Sabel was born as Sonia Shine around 1926 and (predeceased by her husband and eldest son, Jimmy), passed away in the 1990s. Monet Sabel was born and reared in Redondo Beach, California. She grew up heavily participating in her local community theater, The Norris Theatre, to which she attributes all of her success. Monet moved to New York to attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned her BFA in Drama from the New Studio on Broadway. After college, Monet was cast in the Off-Broadway Barrow St. revival of Sweeney Todd, as the standby for Johanna, the Beggar Woman, and, notably, the male role, Adolfo Pirelli. She then joined the National Tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Later, Sabel Monet flew off on a Japanese tour of Disney on Classic, a concert series featuring Disney movies with a full symphony orchestra.

This week we continue our series as we watch the Sabel's story about what God does in our lives when we are obedient to Him.
Michael Hoffman's adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream came at the end of a big decade for Shakespeare adaptations in general. Franco Zeffirelli's Hamlet starring Mel Gibson was released in 1990, and other hit adaptations would follow - notably Kenneth Branagh's celebrated Much Ado About Nothing in 1993, Oliver Parker's Othello, starring Branagh and Laurence Fishburne, in 1995, and Baz Luhrman's huge hit Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes in 1996, a movie that made ten times its 14 million dollar budget. So when A Midsummer Night's Dream, often cited as the most popular Shakespeare play ever, hit early in summer movie season of 1999, it was basically a sure thing, especially given its stellar cast. However, grossing just 16 million dollars, it barely made money on its 11 million dollar budget. Compare that to Romeo + Juliet or even Much Ado, which made 43 million on a less than 6 million dollar budget, and A Midsummer Night's Dream has to be seen as a dud. It was met with a very mixed (but largely approving) critical response, but what did we think of it? This week, John and Joey welcome accomplished Shakespearean actor, director, and producer Steven Sabel to talk about it. Steven is also the host of Don't Quill the Messenger, a podcast exploring the Shakespeare authorship question.
Hey Listener, grab your tool belts because it's a very special episode. This week I'm on location in Columbus, Ohio at April Jacques and Big Dan Sabel's Florida Room to talk about Home Improvement projects. This episode also includes a guest appearance by Andy Worthless and a reluctant at first Jess Darkes. Topics this week include: How many States have rooms named after them? What Ya Into? Cooking. You can't touch your cell phone when you have chicken crap on your hands. Don't touch my grill and the Saint of Meats. Doctor. Carpet on a bathroom floor. Knowing people that know a little bit about everything. Getting a dumpster. Ants in the Pants happens. The Penny Floor and not being able to get pennies. Big Dan is an excellent timer and paying twice for a floor, but coming out a third ahead. I'm not a guy's guy. Going to Lowes. Learning through YouTube and checking your sources. Jack Hammer. Purple walls. The room no one goes to. The worst plumbing thing that has happened to your host. Doing construction with your partner. The biggest recurring fight in your host's marriage. Flexing like Attila the Hun. The skyrocketing prices of the Rock Band aftermarket. Spiking the football. The Ohio Basement Cops stop by and needing a bar. Giving my wife a gun and a road flare.

Today we sit down with Las Vegas super agent, Jeffrey Sabel. We discuss how he intertwines the power of story telling into all of his marketing campaigns.
Clearly I'm no Twilight expert; that's why Sabel from sabelsstudio joins us for the episode of Twilight! In an age of Hollywood where we are getting reboot after reboot, you'd think they would focus on rebooting old material. Here here are only 11 years after the final Twilight movie, Lionsgate announced they will be rebooting Twilight and making it into a TV series. However, do we dare say this reboot is necessary? Join us in this episode to find out as we look back upon the undeniably polarizing franchise that is Twilight!

My wife Sabel's been begging forever. So, for her birthday, she finally got to take over the podcast and made us re-watch her favorite movie: Twilight. ... That was January. Since then, Blake from Blake's Takes invited her over to talk Twilight with the expressed intention to beat us to it! Deep down, however, we all know who we'd rather be listening to. Twilight (2008) is available to stream on Hulu and rent anywhere.Time Stamps:5:29 - Background16:56 - Initial Expectations21:35 - Plot2:04:43 - AnalysisMentioned Links:Howard the Duck (Donald Duck lookalike)Oregon Ducks mascot (Actually Donald Duck)Men in Black AlienHoward the Duck AlienSpecial thanks to That Piano Dude for our intro theme! This week I spoke to Jésabel DC. She runs a digital organization studio where she helps people with anxiety organize their digital lives. I was one of those people, which is how we met. We talked about how she's helped me with my inbox and the systems she helped me make. With a background in psychology and design, she specializes in turning chaotic digital environments (i.e., inboxes, files, calendars) into playful, functional spaces. We talked about how she got into this, and how the system she helped me make has evolved and what ai can do to feel less overwhelmed now. She defines anxiety-aware communication, gives advice on managing undefined relationships, prioritizing what matters, friend assistance and more. Let us know if you listen. We need some of our OTs with the biggest hearts and brightest minds to consider specializing in burn therapy. But, no matter what setting you work in, you will likely have someone with a burn patient on your caseload at some point. Burns are the 4th most common type of trauma worldwide (behind traffic accidents, falls, and interpersonal violence.) 90% of burns occur in low- to middle-income countries. While OTs have worked in burn units for decades, the research behind OT-specific contributions to burn care is still in its infancy. We'll see this at the beginning of the podcast as we look at some early-stage research from Iran on occupational therapy for hand burns. Then, we'll be joined by burn-rehab clinical specialist, Jody Sabel, OT/L. Jody will share about her work in acute and outpatient burn care. And, she will speak with us about the challenges and opportunities is in this incredibly important practice area.In order to earn credit for this course, you must take the test within the OT Potential Club. You can find more details on this course here:https://otpotential.com/ceu-podcast-courses/occupational-therapy-for-hand-burnsHere's the primary research we are discussing:Aghajanzade, M., Momeni, M., Niazi, M., Ghorbani, H., Saberi, M., Kheirkhah, R., Rahbar, H., & Karimi, H. (2019). Effectiveness of incorporating occupational therapy in rehabilitation of hand burn patients. Annals of burns and fire disasters, 32(2), 147–152.Support the show
Robert Sabel grew up in London and developed an affinity for German air cooled motors while working on vintage Porsches with his father. After a move to the U.S, his passion turned to air cooled motors on motorcycles when he fell into an R75/5 as part of a deal to buy a 911. That fateful purchase in turn launched Roughchild Motorcycles in 2014. Roughchild's custom builds might be best described as an Airhead 247 re-imagined with modern technology and built to exacting standards without compromise. Think of a Singer Porsche 911 as an automotive analogy. Robert has a real love for the 247 and not just in a custom built form. You'll hear that in our visit this week. It's Robert Sabel of Roughchild Motorcycles on the Airhead 247 Podcast. Roughchild Motorcycles: https://roughchild.com/
In this rerelease episode, first published in April of 2021, John dares to take on something he seldom does on his own podcast - talking about something he believes to be true: that centuries of confusion (sometimes deliberate, sometimes not) have given history the wrong "William Shakespeare". In this episode, Steven Sabel, an accomplished actor, director, host of the podcast Don't Quill the Messenger, and Podcast and Community Outreach Director at the Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship (of which John is a member) discusses the Oxfordian case, why he's convinced, and how the work of the greatest author in the history of the English language can only truly be understood in the context of the life of their true author, Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford. Check out Steven's excellent podcast, Don't Quill the Messenger
