The Going Solo Podcast by Matthew Mayer is an incredibly inspiring podcast for artists and musicians alike. As a solo piano artist myself, I was immediately drawn to this podcast and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. With just two episodes in, I am already blown away by how much the stories from the artists on this podcast directly relate to my own life. It's like listening to a group of individuals who have walked the same path as me, sharing their experiences and offering encouragement along the way. This sense of connection is truly invaluable and has uplifted my spirits as I continue on my musical journey.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the platform it provides for artists to share their stories. Matthew Mayer does an excellent job of creating a safe and open space for his guests to discuss their artistic journeys. By doing so, he not only gives these artists a voice but also inspires other artists around the world who may be facing similar challenges or feelings of doubt. The stories behind the songs are fascinating and it's truly inspiring to hear how these artists create their music and what it means to them personally.
Another wonderful aspect of this podcast is that Matthew Mayer includes snippets of the songs mentioned by his guests throughout each episode. This allows listeners to fully immerse themselves in both the conversation and the music being discussed. It adds another layer of depth and connection to the podcast, making for an incredibly engaging listening experience.
In terms of drawbacks, there really aren't any major issues with The Going Solo Podcast. Perhaps one minor criticism would be that there are currently only two episodes available at the time of writing this review. However, given the quality and level of inspiration provided by these initial episodes, it's clear that more great content will be coming in future episodes.
In conclusion, The Going Solo Podcast by Matthew Mayer is a must-listen for any artist or musician looking for inspiration, connection, and guidance on their creative journey.
