A Survivor podcast for the people. If you're looking for Survivor encyclopedias, we're not your guys. Flaming hot takes? Press play.
You only know you've been high when you're feeling low, you only hate the road when you're missing home, and you only know you love her when you let her go. While we didn't let her go, we certainly realized how much we loved Survivor during the hiatus. It feels so good to be back, we got a ton of changes to sort through and need your full attention. Come on in, stay a while. WE ARE BACK!
It was a wild ride that we're sad to see go, but what a way to say goodbye. Brilliant story lines, questionable decisions, and one lingering question. Is Tony the G.O.A.T.? Regardless of where you stand in that debate, his performance to become the Winner at War is one for the ages.
No one loves a double 'sode as much as we do, but hard to say we loved this one. Some questionable game play from a few of the remaining castaways, a pod favorite going home in Jeremy, and the impending return of someone from the Edge have us scratching our heads a bit. There's plenty of story lines that could reemerge, but which are most intriguing to us? Can't leave you hanging without talking about Tony of course. The man is on a mission. Mission impossible? We'll see.
Another week, another Tony masterclass. Winning immunity and pulling a vote together were both strong items to add to his resume, but several others impressed as well. With 7 left, many questions remain. Are Ben and Jeremy back on good terms after this vote? How far can Sarah go with Tony? Where does this vote leave Denise?
This game just keeps heating up. If we thought the gloves were off before, I can't wait to see what a true blindside does to the remaining relationships in this game. Was this week's episode an all-time performance from Sophie? Is Jeremy in the clear now? Are Nick and Michelle drivers, or passengers? A lot of questions still need to be answered.
With half of the castaways left in the game, it looks like the gloves are off. This tribal had 3 advantages played and they each drew a different line in the sand. With just 9 players left, it's becoming clear who the major threats are and where the votes will go. The big question now is whether this marks the beginning of a hectic string of tribal councils or a shift in power dynamics.
Things are starting to pick up in the 2nd episode after the merge. We can't wait to discuss the epic end of Adam's time on the island, complete with all its buildup and fallout. With 10 players left, it's time to speculate wildly on how things are going to go down. Take a listen to hear how we think many of the castaways are positioned.
We are merged! This is where they say the game starts and by "they" we mean "us." We'll break down the first vote and what the means for the post-merge dynamic. How strong are the bonds? Who is next on the block? Don't forget Tyson's reentry to the game! Lot to get through.
In the penultimate episode before the merge, we lost yet another member of the old-school legion. We also saw a true end of an era when Sandra pulled the flag and went home. We reflect on her legacy, as well as what the future holds for the remaining 19 castaways. Who is a in a good position entering the merge? Who is in trouble?
We're thrilled to be back for our 50th episode this week to bring you a much needed break from the standard news cycle. It's almost as if Survivor knew what was happening and dropped this double tribal episode on us to help us cope. What an episode it was! The Yara tribe gets immunity and both Sele and Dakal head to tribal council. That was only the beginning and we have a lot to unpack from those 2 tribal councils.
Let's forget the pleasantries and let you know we sincerely hope you're all staying safe out there. Survivor has brought us together, and for that, we're grateful. In case you're looking for more Survivor in this quarantine, Devin and I each give you a favorite season to dive back into if you so please. Back to this season -- tribe swaps are always interesting, and this season didn't disappoint. Each tribe was left with compelling story lines and shifting power dynamics. Of course, Boston Rob exited the show and that leaves us with plenty to reflect on.
Coming back to you with our first live podcast in 5 seasons, we've got a lot to talk about. Obviously we have to talk about the Tyson vote and all of the inner workings of Dakal. Speaking of odd men out, how did Adam do to re-ingratiate himself into the Sele tribe. With the impending tribe swap, will it even matter since new lines will be drawn?
Devin returns to recap an epic episode of Survivor. We had one of the closest challenges in recent memory followed by a layered tribal council. Things are getting spicy over at Sele with all these tribal councils. Meanwhile at Dakal, a storm is brewing, but will they ever have to put pen to paper before a tribe swap? We also talk Rob's game so far, Adam's big move, and Tony being Tony. Feels so good to be back.
The 2nd episode of the season is in the books, so we're bringing in the 2nd Crowley boy to break it down. We have to weigh in on the Survivor economy and how it's already impacting the game. Rob had a big episode, but was it a positive impression? We don't agree. Apologies in advance for the long podcast, we've never been accused being brief, but we have been accused of being ridiculous. Think you'll enjoy this one.
What a first episode to Winners at War! We had two immunity challenges, both tribes going to tribal council to test their allegiances, and the introduction of fire tokens. That's a lot to unpack. Fortunately for you, we're moving this week and are in a packing mood. Let's dive in.
If you thought one episode wasn't enough to discuss the cast this season, we'd agree with you. The Sele Tribe has just about all you can ask for. It seems like an absolute powerhouse lineup over here, so we'll see if we can match the hype from our previous episode. We're going to talk about everyone, how they got here, and how we see this thing shaking out.
We're back and we're here to talk about the Dakal Tribe. This tribe is loaded like a baked potato at Golden Corral. We've got physical threats, strategic masterminds, and of course, The Queen. We're going to talk about everyone, how they got here, and how we see this thing shaking out.
Back after a brief break, we have to talk about Dan again. As much as we'd love to move right past it, it has too large of an impact on the entire season to be ignored. However, we do get past it and set the stage for what we think, is a wide open finale. We agree on who we think is going to win, but the answer may surprise you.
Off the back of the most woke Survivor episode in history, we're back to dissect the absolute cop out of a split tribal, chickens coming home to roost, and we help you press the reset button on this game with our favorites of the 9 remaining castaways.
What a merge that was. Really impossible to skirt around this week's primary discussion on morals vs gameplay, so we'll dive right in and give it our best take. We have a surprise guest this week filling in for Devin, so it presented some new and interesting takes. Amidst all the craziness, there was also some decent gameplay and standout performers.
In the penultimate episode before the merge, Jack became the 1st member of our jury after Kellee pulled off one of the most well executed plans in recent tribal memory. Camp life is starting to present some interesting challenges and opportunities for both tribes, but how will it shake out after the merge? Also, who do we like in our top 3 heading into the merge.
The Island of the Idols finally played a major role in a vote this season. Elaine went all in on a potential advantage and it paid off huge. How will Vokai respond after this "betrayal" from old Lairo? We also give our thoughts on the Jamal and Jack story.
We are baaack, we are back. After a week off (thanks Canada), we're going to talk about buffs being dropped, feelings being hurt (mostly Pat's), and what lies ahead for the new Lairo and Vokai tribes. Esketit.
We are back to explore what was an interesting episode for both Vince and Karishma, the good and the bad from an epic challenge, and what has to be one of the most awkward moments in recent years.
Finally! A season where we can see 2 tribes at the first 2 tribal councils. Last week we learned about the Lairo tribe, this week we got to see where the lines were drawn in the sand for the Vokai Tribe. Hard not to talk about him at this point, but do we even begin with Dan? Plus, after learning about all the 18 castaways, we go over who we think has the legs to take it all the way.
We're back again to double down on some of our blind takes, try to walk back some of our misses, and break down all that happened in the premiere. Plus, what is the Island of Idols? Do we like it? Does it have a purpose? We break it all down this week as we learned more about the theme this season is built on.
Spread the word around because yes, the boys are back in town. We're thrilled to be bringing your our 4th season and our 4th edition of nearly baseless judgements on this year's cast. Also find out what we think of yet another gameplay twist, alongside our way too early predictions for some of our 1st impression favorites.
In the final featured 'sode of Season 3, Devin and Patrick are back to help you digest a thrilling season finale. We're talking Deven's game, Chris as a winner, and a wild Wardog sighting.
We're back with the last episode before the finale to answer your questions from Instagram, talk some BRE, and final 3 predictions.
Back with a fury, the fellas get right into the latest episode as things got hot on the island. We had thievery, theater, and a brief cameo from the people's favorite host, Leah. Plus, is Rick a bigger threat than anyone from Edge of Extinction?
As predictable as the tide that will wake him up on Edge of Extinction, Joe Anglim found himself sent home the first time his fellow castaways had the chance. We talk his chances of a comeback and all things EOE, as well as the dynamics at the merge and a little BDR rebound.
What didn't happen this episode? We had a returning player sent home, tribes merge for a joint tribal council, and Lesu actually won a challenge. Join us as we recap everything heading into merge week.
A very strange tribe swap left us asking a lot of questions. Who came out on top of this switch? Speaking of switches, does Wendy have an off switch? Will David ever complete another puzzle? And what is really happening at extinction island with its rising population?
We had our 1st true blindside of the season just 3 episodes in, and it was one to talk about. Also, it took 26 episodes, but we finally have a cast member who divides the guys. Listen to find out who it is.
Another week equals another sacrifice, and we're not talking about Keith. We're talking returning players, people who just don't cut it, and reveal who is atop the leaderboard after the first week of scoring.
All the votes are in and first impressions are here to stay. Hear the guys debate who has the best top 5, ogle over Joe, and speculate on what Extinction Island holds for Reem and the rest of the castaways.
After much anticipation and Engineer Jake fumbling his way through yet another mix, the boys are back with some wild premature takes, a practice that is unfortunately not limited to podcasting. It's a quick one so get a listen in before the first episode, which premieres tonight!
Just when you thought the boys forgot about you, they come into the new year with some takes that were cooking away in the 'bator for the last month to blow your nips right off. Join us for the last episode of Season 2 and celebrate a new season of Survivor right around the corner.
With just a 'sode left in the season, we got plenty to talk about to set up an epic season finale. This game is wide open and lot of ways for to play out. Does your final 6 power rankings line up with ours?
Both Devin and Patrick lose a member of their top 3 in a TV made double 'sode. We'll talk negotiations, top resumes, and honor a legend of the show through this season's reward challenges.
After what has to be a record number of Brochacos to go down in consecutive episodes, we're left with a lot to talk about after another eventful tribal council. Devin also takes a month old take from the 'bator in what critics are calling the hottest take in Survivor podcast history.
In a true David versus Goliath throwdown, two brochachos find themselves in each other's crosshairs in an action packed tribal council for the ages. The boys got some takes to pop out of the incubator and hatch for the people - tune in!
Just when you thought you'd never see them again, the boys are back with a self made triple 'sode delivering takes in all stages of the incubation process on 3 action packed episodes of Survivor: David vs Goliath.
We are back again with a familiar voice and trademark radio face to break down episode 2 of Survivor: David vs Goliath. Just 2 episodes in and already some interesting dynamics. Tune in to see what takes we popped in the incubator this week.
We're baaackk!! Devin is joined by a surprise guest to talk about all things from the first episode of Survivor season 37 - David vs Goliath!
A matchup of the locks, a tribal council first, and an overloaded take incubator makes for a hell of a season finale. Join the boys as they try to make sense of what happened to end the 36th season of Survivor.
If you're not watching your flame going into the finale you're bound to get snuffed out, because in this game, fire represents your life. Stakes are high, the finale is nigh. Follow us on a journey to the last, and greatest, episode of the season.
After a short hiatus, the boys are back to recap 2 big episodes as we get to our final 6. The #DonFather has been a great friend of the cast, but did he go too rouge these last 2 tribals?
By gawd that's Jeff Probst's music! Probst and the crew threw down the gauntlet in a major way this week on the top 10 to give the rest of the players a 1 in 8 shot at winning a million dollars. How could we possibly keep up? Hmmm.
The #DonFather strikes again in a finger pointing fiesta of an episode. A lot of moving and shaking is happening right now on the island. Join Devin and Patrick as they hatch some takes from the incubator.
We had a reward that would have made Wes Nale proud, Angela showing what she's got post Chris, an eventful tribal counsel, and a lot more to talk about this week. We said goodbye to one of our top 3 this week, but did the action force us to move others around?
