Happily at the end of the chat, we speak with Hybachi following his recent release, having maxed out his sentence and returned to his organizing and life in the streets of Chicago. Temple Slug was a Kansas City Missouri treasure. Having been around since 1970 til 2025 when they closed their doors for the last time. Temple Slug closed during covid back in 2020. Then one beautiful summer day in 2025 I saw a line forming outside of there & found out they were having an estate sale.
